Not very. He's a man that's dealt with growing up involved in the 1920s mob atmosphere, worked under Hitler's regime, has a gambling problem, and generally just done what he's has to to survive.
He's selfish, that's for sure, but not evil. He doesn't care to abide by laws that prevent him from achieving his goals, but that doesn't make him evil, right?
Good question. If there are, I haven't met with them yet. -

This idea needs to happen. In my opinion, it should be a bit more expensive, and have a chance to not work, not a chance to destroy the IO you want to remove.

Quote:May I direct you to a few of my posts please?Is this particular situation an outlier based on the specific attributes of Ghost Widow vs. the AT power sets involved, or would this apply pretty much across the board, in terms of the MM's seeming more powerful than brutes in basic PvE content?
Read this first.
Then this.
This is funny.
And you should probably see this.
Suffice to say... it's the norm.
Also, welcome to the club. -

Having worked in the gambling industry on slot machines, I can very much assure you that the random number generator is random. (As close to random as possible, in a computer driven algorithm.)
I don't care if the drop rate is 90%, you could still kill 15,000 enemies and not see a drop. It's bloody unlikely, but it could happen. -

I figured, I'm just pointing out that we are in Ultimo's troll thread, and he will lambaste you for completely missing the point and suggesting something based on taking his comments out of context, or some other bull like that.
-
Your taunt auras will stop affecting enemies, but any taunt duration you have on them should keep them occupied until you come out of the glacier.
Edit: Curse you Rylas and your fast typing! -
Except that doesn't solve Ultimo's problem of wanting his Defender (mind you, his defender as it is now, he doesn't really care about the newbies) to have the same DPE of a blaster.

Is it safe to call him a troll yet or not?

Good lord do those things hurt my DA tank. The debuffs hurt, but it's more the fact that I have only 30% resist to the pure energy damage. I haven't ever tried them on +4, but I've tanked them. It's not easy, I eat purples like candy, but it can be done.

Quote:Eradications in any PBAoE power. You only need three slots.further looking at it I really don't want the Zephyrs. They are there for the E/NE defense set bonus to reach soft cap. I really want to go another route to slot to get that soft cap without them. Not sure what to change to get that though. Any suggestions?
EDIT: Nevermind... you have those. Hrm... I used Cleaving Blows, Reactive Armors, and one Lethargic Repose for my Dark Armor tank that's at E/N softcap. Maybe try to fit those in?
Looking back at my build, I don't know what else I can say. The thing I do with 3x Erad and 3x Cleaving Blow in my PBAoEs works out to decent enough slotting, but you'll lose the +HP bonus in most of your stuff slotted with Erad. Other that, your options are to take weave, or maybe slot CJ for some defense. Probably should put another LotG +recharge in there anyway. -
Quote:Here's an idea. Level up to 20 without taking hurdle/health/stamina. Then, as soon as you feel endurance getting tight, switch to build 2, and take hurdle/health/stamina without ever having to level up with them.As it stands now, the problem isn't killing speed/what diff you can fight at so much as the fact that you get 3 dull as dirt powers right at the same time as your leveling speed starts slowing down. I know that personally, I take little joy in leveling from 12-22-ish depending on when I take the stamina chain. No only is it the lame illusion of choice, but it's a dull one.
I still cannot agree that these powers are required. -
Quote:It would also make +recovery bonuses more effective because they work off of base recovery. Buffs like speed boost, drain psyche, and accelerate metabolism would do more for you too. This would in turn make stamina even less needed, and bring up overall performance of the already high end builds that are soloing +4/x8, AVs, and GMs.The only suggestion I've seen in this thread that makes any sense at all, is to increase the base recovery rate while simultaneously lowering the recovery rate of Stamina. That would keep the overall endurance recovery the same, which would not make lvl20+ characters any more powerful, while also reducing downtime at low levels. It would also move Stamina more into the realm of an optional power and open up some more build flexibility. It would, however, tend to increase the leveling rate from 1-20 even more than it already is. I'm not sure the devs would consider that a good thing.
The more I think about it, the more I like it. I could drop stamina from most of my characters, while keeping the same recovery, but add three powers to their repertoire that they did not have before.
You'd still have to increase the difficulty settings to something like +5/x10, though. -
Holy crap, my thread has been linked on Massively.

Quote:No it wasn't. The only one missing points here is you. Your controlling blaster can still dish out DPS.And that, ladies and gentlemen, was the sound of a point being completely missed.
A TA, sonic, cold domination, etc. defender can not in any realm of reality heal you without taking the same pool powers available to everyone, which are not meant to be combat heals.
Blaster = damage.
Defender = support.
Defender =/= healing. -
Only time I've DONE the SF is when I was on my MM, so I can't really say.

Quote:*raises hand*Also, just asking here, because I don't know if it has or not been done, but MoSTF with no direct healing? I wanna see the team beating Recluse like this, as to commend them on what I feel is a great accomplishment.
My Dark Armor tank has no need of an empath. One of my successful MoSTFs was done with only debuffers, who only focused on the towers.
It's really not that hard if the team is halfway competent.
Edit to add:
It also helps any Mo* attempt to not have any scrappers on the team. -
Watch my video to get a glimpse of what Dark Armor is capable of. Keep in mind, my video shows a DA/Fire tank, so I don't have the added mitigation of Axe.
Edit to add:
If your options really are "Hand me a good build, or I'll delete," then save yourself the trouble and delete the character. No one is just going to hand you a build on a silver platter. Well, maybe someone will, but put some gorram effort into it if you want help. Don't just demand a build. -
Quote:... until you turn up the difficulty and the WS can feed off the number of opponents he has.If you like teams then WS is the way to go. It has nice AoE/PBAoE powers that help in a team enviroment. If you like to solo then a PB is way better because of all the self buffs that will keep you alive longer and better single target attacks.
Seriously, after I got eclipse, adding extra enemies made the game easier.
