No, *I* didn't expect it to work, because pets typically don't inherit any buffs from the caster (although "patches" and pseudo-pets usually do). But on the various successful Really Hard Way runs I've been on, it was stressed to use Ultimate before summoning Lore so they get the shift.

This should put those rumors to rest.
I apologize for my incorrect assumption. You hadn't made this bit clear, so I was left to question why you would go to such lengths to prove they didn't work this way. The only thing I could figure was that you expected this to work somehow.

That said, thanks for the bit of work.

I grab HP where I can because I know the AT has a low HP, but I don't think I was factoring in the Essence Boost. I suppose I can afford to shave those out.

I'm not worried about it because there should be enough overlap in LF to keep it permanent.

Your build sounds very interesting, but I doubt I can use much of it. I don't like building with iPowers in mind. They're nice, but I want my builds to work at level 20 when I exemplar. When I get home to my computer I'll be sure to look at this to see if I can get a few ideas.

I put the E/N defense in there just to keep myself well rounded. I find that E/N damage is common enough, and considering I have 85% resist to everything, I don't think I'd be willing to trade my E/N for more S/L.

I'm certainly triform on my Warshade, but I just don't see as much benefit to a PB's form as I do with my Warshade. My character's concept on this one doesn't allow for forms either.

No budget limit on this guy; I'm curious to see where you'd improve.

I will certainly get incarnate powers, but I do not like to build with them in mind because they're not always available. I want all my builds to be fully functional at level 40, which is why you'll see all my sets are capped at level 40. Likewise with Shining Shield, I'll never need it at high level, but I will use it when I exemplar below Lightform.
  3. Because it sure doesn't feel like it...

This is my attempt at a Peacebringer.

The blank slot in Solar Flare is for the KD IO when it comes out. I don't have Conserve Energy, but I don't think I'll miss it. Managed to perma lightform and fit 33% defense to S/L. I even end up with 20% psionic defense. Shining Shield stays so I can still exemplar.

Red inspirations don't benefit pets when you use them on yourself.

    Extra Power Tray

I almost exclusively use the mouse to click my powers, as opposed to the numbers of my keyboard. For some reason, pressing numbers never works well for me.

That said, I do use binds for the following keys: Q, E, C, V, G, T, ALT+Q, ALT+E, and Shift + click. No, I can't really explain how I can have 8 regular keybinds, but not like hitting the numbers.

  8. Gimp or tankmage is more determined by the player than even the powersets, but you cannot apply either term unilaterally.

All my masterminds are fantastic tankmages.

    Lightform

In fact, if it happens to crash while your health is less than half, it will actually heal you. Same goes for endurance.

    Short answer: Never.

    Long answer:

If you happen to be getting hit by debuffs, it will make a difference, but not a noticeable one. Likewise in incarnate content, the 1.8% won't amount to a hill of beans.

    Dark Armor Sucks.

    Self-PLing?

Can't do boss farms. You need all three enemy ranks now.
  18. Nobody knows what they want till they finally let it all go.
  19. Spot on for alpha. Damage is what a stalker does.

Interface: reactive does the most damage, but everyone has that, so stacking is limited on teams. Degenerative is the next best.
  20. I can't look at the build on my phone, but I can offer you my MFing warshade guide. It has build advice, as well as a link to my build. Do a search for AIB's build to compare to if you get a chance. His builds fit much more defense than I care to.

Careful, that might just be a difference between the AT modifiers.

I don't know either way. Just saying it's something to check first.

    You're using the wrong AT.

If you want a tanking character, roll a tank.

If you want a tanking character with better damage, roll a brute.

You play your warshade if you want something with the flexibility to blast, control, tank, nuke, summon pets, shove its resistance up to the 85% cap and its damage up to the 300% cap.

If you want to hamstring the previously mentioned AT, then limit it to dwarf form.
  23. Half because I don't like my powers working differently just because I walked into a different zone, and the other half because of people like this guy.
