It's pretty much unanimous on the forums that the technology does not yet exist to create a viable dark armor build. It just uses too much endurance. Many have tried, all have failed. Legends tell of the chosen one who will come from the east on a steed of pure blue and save us from this curse, but I say those are just old wives' tales.
A. Check out any of the previous Dark Armor threads and see what's been discussed.
B. Check out any of the previous Dark Armor Guides, including Jebe the Pirate's guide in the Tanker Guide section, and Dechs Kaison's guide in his signature.
C. Yes. It can be even more viable with IOs and proper slotting.
D. Carp

I actually know somebody who has built TW/DA and is basically his main.
He has no trouble at all at 50, and on an incomplete build at that.
Yes, TW and DA are both end-hungry, but there are a lot of tools you unlock at 50 to fix that. Cardiac pretty much insures that whatever set you're running IS NOT going to run out of Endurance, and it gives you a boost to Resistance, too. That's probably the "least-effort" solution.
Why you wouldn't pair TW with something like /Electric is beyond me, though. A set that helps out your damage (more than DA) with arguably better survivability and an endurance restore.. well... shameless plug for my favorite set, I guess.

This is what I did...I elected to run build 2, because it accomplishes what I wanted in terms of damage and recharge...In order to get the recharge I need, I run ageless radial destiny.

As others have pointed out, DA is completely viable once you've figured out your slotting. I once made an Elec/DA build for a friend that hit the 32.5% def mark for S/L/E/N and had 5 Perf Shifter procs and one Heal +end proc. I never saw him complain again about endurance, and he ran all his toggles.

Dark Armor looks like an ideal pairing with Titan Weapons especially for someone who likes to min/max their toons. My only concern about DA are the toggles How viable is the pairing with TW if the fight goes beyond several minutes? Im sure taking energy mastery will help but will it be enough?
