I wasn't aware that they WERE account wide, but it might be limited to level 50+ if it is. Ascension Armor is limited in such a fashion, for example.

Quote:Honestly this is why I don't feel like bothering with The (Really) Hard Way yet. I wanna give it some time to work out the kinks before trying for a badge that basically brings back the old LRSF issues when it launched. So many of our players are good people - but don't have the time or resources to devote to make their main toons as advanced as others. Other servers are placing fairly strict requirements on this badge. I would like to think that most who are very much wanting this badge would already bring more than what's needed. But, my experience tells me that it needs to be spelled out, and somehow verified.

8.75% is a Gargantuan Recharge bonus, and 10% is an Ultimate. To make the 10% stack with the existing 10% bonuses, they'd have to call them Catalyzed bonuses or something.

Just as an FYI - the 2nd set of ATOs have their own artwork now. It mostly uses the proc effect as a base (Spider's Bite has a bio-hazard symbol, Scourging Blast has an End mod icon).

Quote:Origin of Power (Percy Winkley) has you talk to War Witch to get info on magic origins. It poses the same issue as swapping Ms. Liberty for Babs in Atlas, so it's not as easy as T might think. To be honest, I wrote my initial explanation of the challenges in swapping assets without even looking at the 'who are we talking about."-- thinking along the lines of swapping out, say... Back Alley Brawler for miss liberty in Atlas. War Witch v1 with war witch v2 would be much easier.

This. Although, didn't they replace Calvin Scott with Sister Psyche in issue... 4? (I joined before it happened, but I wasn't in the level range yet.) I know they've removed characters and changed their location by changing the zone, but I can't think of a time where they've altered a contact's appearance/presence on a per character basis.

It's still a TF with a horrible payout for the time investment, with a completely obnoxious enemy group, along with just about every other obnoxious 40-50 enemy group in existence, that takes forever to complete. It's what, 130 merits? For 3 hours if you BREAKNECK rush it? I can get that many merits by speed running LGTF, ITF, STF, Khan, Apex and Tin Mage in about 2 hours and 40 minutes, and that was a lie, because I actually got 202 merits for doing the aforementioned TFs.

It was last year. August I believe. And I REFUSE to spend money on something that we should've had a long time ago.

This might be because everything else in the zone drops arcane... So they need SOMETHING to drop tech.

Quote:Technically speaking, the Different standards rule only applied for HBO - who don't show Commercials for anything other than their own programs - it also meant that they didn't have to edit ANYTHING they wanted. They basically drew a line in the sand and made the FCC back off, and have been beyond reproach ever since (since they basically used the "Free Speech" defense correctly - I think it got settled in court). The point T is you have to pay to get those channels. SyFy doesn't use the "public airways" like ABC, CBS, etc. therefore aren't as strict. It doesn't mean that SyFy still doesn't tweak imported shows like Lost Girl, it's just they don't have to as much and they still try to cover their butts with warning bumps when the action gets a little hot in an episode.
SyFy (back when it was SciFi) tried to show the Canadian science fiction show Odyssey 5 and after all the bleeps and edits dropped the show only after a couple of episodes because it proved impractical to show (plus the added expense to edit the episodes). However this series was made for Showtime and therefore didn't need to worry since it's a subscription channel versus a bundle of cable channels you get with extended cable/sat.
Cable Networks have the same standards and practices as network TV, but they don't have to worry about commercials as much as network TV (they get paid for access to their channels) so they have additional leeway in terms of content - they don't need the ratings that Network TV needs, so they can use more mature/complex content than Network.
Also, Canada wins. Always. -
Quote:This has been answered in relation of Penelope Yin and Faultline - it requires redoing the entire Zone from what I understand. Is Croatoa same or higher level than Night Ward?
I'm pretty sure it is close.
Anyway, they have the technology to change contacts based on what you have completed. They did so in Nova Praetoria with Cleopatra and in Atlas with Mathew Habashy's wife.
Why haven't they at least done that with War Witch? /shrug -
I trimmed the Dev notes in the article but according to Synapse it's a "small" Hit Point/End crash. Whether that means 50% like in Strength of Will and One with the Shield, or less than 50% remains to be seen.

Quote:hmm... To the beta server!i think synapse stated awhile ago that he fixed IOs like this so that they will not buff the baddies (ie heal them or give them end, ect)
so in the case of slotting the perf shifter in conductive aura, then the bonus would only affect you when baddies are in range -
You're doing it wrong. The correct answer is to Vengeance, Fallout, THEN kick from league.

Quote:In the Dream Doctor's Personal Mission his motivation for distrusting Silos is revealed, and quite frankly, I think Silos might have had a point keeping you-know-who around. The devs recently responded to a similar question by saying the answer depends on how much we trust everything that the Dream Doctor tells us
Plus, the Dream Doctor has a huge balck mark against him for havign anythign to do with Protean, who's been shown in the comics and his handful of in game appearances to be a totally immoral, inhuman and sadistic killer.
Also Ajax was a pretty big scumbag at one point (though he's tried to make amends more or less since).
