I don't think John Lithgow has ever suffered from typecasting, he's had a pretty good variety of roles in his career, even after 3rd Rock From The Sun.

Ah, here's the index, it's just the index of the FTP that's inaccessible: http://na.cityofheroes.com/en/media_...ic_archive.php
If you need to find it again in the future just Google "city of heroes comics", it's the first result. -
Quote:Don't you also get to keep extra slots that were unlocked as part of Veteran Rewards?I have no idea why he didn't get his last reward token.
However, dropping to Premium grants you 2 character slots TOTAL across any servers. (As opposed to taking away a certain amount of character slots, you are simply granted 2.) Then, you also get to unlock any slots that you have purchased separately, or that came as part of a package (i.e Going Rogue). If your husband has not purchased any other slots, he should have FOUR slots available to him, two default slots and two more for having purchased Going Rogue. -
Oddly the index is no longer accessible, but the comics are still there. Here's issue #20 of the Top Cow series: ftp://ftp.cityofheroes.com/comics/topcow/comic_20.pdf

Quote:Clockwork Legs.Don't want a monstrous robot chicken leg. I want a regular prosthetic leg like we have for arms. The pirates peg leg doesn't suit some of my character concepts. A modern themed character should have the option of a modern prosthetic not a wooden stick.

Dunno about the NinjaLeap and SmokeBomb ones, but the DimensionShift one is very much a known issue and was mentioned several times on the forum when it first went live. The solid bodies you're seeing are the same as the generic model used for body type when you first create a character (pre-Freedom it was green), you can also see this bug present in the after-images for some Dual Pistols animations. Based on the one screenshot I've seen of Vorpal Judgement, the bug is probably present there too, as it looks like it uses the same after-image effect as those Dual Pistols animations. I could have sworn I saw that this was fixed in the latest patch notes, but I must have imagined it because it's not there.

The toxic mist probably is a pseudo pet, I experienced this on my last run but it dissipated in the expected amount of time.
Logging out for 5 or more minutes will reset a mission, I think, so that may be an option. -
Quote:I agree, it's a shame they didn't apply this philosophy to the rest of the patch, because it wasn't ready either.I for one, am happy to have trials delayed if it means changes to make them better. Dealing with a barely ready for primetime Keyes and all the ******** and non desire to run it that came with that, was a chore. It doesn't serve their efforts to release trials that aren't fully balanced and something people can enjoy. Trials that are too long and tedious piss people off, and waiting a couple months to see it fixed is not good, because it sets up a ton of preconceived notions that people then have to fight in order to get the inevitable revamps to be looked at with something other than scorn by players.
Delay Media Blitz. Delay Mother Mayhem. Get them right. I'll be happy running Keyes with people who never got a chance to see it and can enjoy it now. I'll get my badges, I'll get drops I can use on shiny new powers, and I'll have a great weekend.
Also just a note, Mother Mayhem was never intended to go live with the Media Blitz patch. -

Quote:Because designing and animating a wolf pet is the exact same job as designing, QA testing and bug-fixing a UI change, done by the exact same people, using the exact same resources. Please ignore the game breaking UI bugs.
Focus on the wolf pet. Oooh look. Buy it. Give us your money. Honest this isn't just a glorified BETA for CoH2. Honest.
Wait, no it's not. -

UI resets. Unacceptable. Badge interface "fixed" beyond all repair. Unacceptable. Bioluminescence glow gone. Unacceptable. New trial pulled. Unacceptable.
Let me know when you get this right. -
Just loaded up a second time and the pop-up is gone, appears to be a one-time only thing. It still perplexes me that the pop-up would be necessary at all with the info on the login screen, but whatever.
-
Quote:So you pulled the trial from the update that it's named for??? Lame.Nope.
We pulled it to do some more work on it, hence the lack of hoopla and fanfair for this update. We got some good feedback during the beta and we felt it was more important to react to that and make appropriate changes.
Also, *fanfare.
Also also, please ditch that stupid old video drivers popup. It's annoying and redundant. -
I'm not going to update my drivers, every newer driver that I've tried kills alt-tabbing for me, and that's a dealbreaker ladies. Furthermore, it's idiotic and pointless to have this obnoxious popup when you're putting the exact same message on the login screen anyway (and that's fine, it's a good place for it). I don't need to be reminded twice. At the very least, put a checkbox in the launcher to disable this popup.
Hope this helps. -

Dark Armor's mitigation isn't too helpful on the ITF. I took my Dark/Dark Brute through it once, didn't go too well. S/L resistance is mediocre for an armor set, the stun from OG isn't going to do much against most of the Cimerorans, who have mez resistance. I think the bosses can buff the minions to give them resistance against the Fear from Touch/Cloak of Fear.
Mind you, I still haven't come up with a satisfying build for my Brute. I'm sure whoever it is who trumpets Dark Armor as an awesome set (Dechs Kaison?) will come in here and say different. -
Quote:Personally I'm on vacation this week. Also during regular weeks I have no life once I get home from work.Who has time to stay logged into CoH forums for hours on end during the workday...
...uh right, 9% unemployment.
I get home from work, post if something interests me then go do something else, it's not really a terrible issue for me...does that make me the 1%?
It also irks me because even when I'm at work all day, when I get home I often find that new posts are not always marked as such because of this bug. -
Even still, the crash from both Rage and Hasten (what do you mean you aren't running Hasten???) can hurt a bit.

Quote:Endurance on SS/Inv (or Inv/SS, on a Tank) isn't quite so bad if you take Energy Mastery and get Physical Perfection and Conserve Power/Superior Conditioning. Not sure how the latter works on a Brute, although that is a third place you can slot a Performance Shifter proc. With 3 of those puppies running I'd be legitimately shocked if you had any endurance issues at all. Thanks for all the helpful info and replies guys. It gives me a couple of things to consider for my next 50. I had already had a ss/invuln brute which was 50, but the end was so horrible that I ended up deleting him (The crash not withstanding which killed me everytime it did crash)

No, the Paragon Dance Party was just a regular warehouse map with colored lighting and dance music (one of the boombox tracks I think). I think there have been people who left toons logged in there who were able to log them back in and remain on that map.

It's been so long since I took my Invuln Tank on an ITF that I forgot, but yeah. I used to take him up to the wall in Cimerora, herd together two lines of soldiers, then Footstomp them until they're all dead. Combine the S/L Res, DDR and Dull Pain, and you're basically unstoppable (no pun intended).

Super Reflexes can be softcapped (45%) to positional defense pretty easily, and can hardcap Defense Debuff Resistance (95%). This means that enemies will have a 5% chance to hit you (assuming they have no ToHit buffs), and when their debuffing attacks do hit you, the debuff will be at 5% of its original value. SR can actually get above the defense softcap depending on your slotting, so even if you do get hit with some debuffs you could still be sitting at a 5% chance of being hit.
Moving around isn't a bad idea either. I believe all the Cimeroran -Def attacks happen with their swords, which are of course melee attacks, so the less time you spend in melee the less chance you'll have of even being attacked (never mind being hit) with a debuffing attack. I like Claws for this, Focus and Shockwave are good powers to use when you're out of melee range. I also use Ninja Run on my Claws/SR, it keeps me agile in a fight so I can bounce around and reposition myself easily.
