Quote:Ah, I pretty much just play Bots.Go To is definitely necessary for melee pets, such as Beasts. I'd never noticed how bad this bug was before, because each MM pet seems to have some range, but the first time I did Atlas with my doggies and gave them the attack command, they started showing off their "sit" and "stay" training. Yes, they had line of sight.

Quote:You understand that pretty much everything is subject to change before it leaves Beta, right? That's sort of the point.I got the info from this thread:
http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=287451
When it says a toggle it's kind of implied that it'll work like all other toggles in the game and not detoggle automatic after a period.
edit: and I believe that's how they worked it beta but I can't say for certain because I wasnt here -

I would hardly say that being forced to leave melee range for 5 seconds constitutes being "screwed over". It forces you to actually move and be intelligent instead of just sitting in front of the bad guy and mashing your face into the keyboard until he dies.

Complete failure of an arc. With no badge and not even a Souvenir, I'll never run it again. The only NW contact more pointless than Trilogy is Fireball (there's not even a story there).
-
Suddenly want to see a Magesterium league full of Demons and Beast Masterminds, and Dark Control Doms/Controllers.
-
Yes, it's a contact. Level range seems to be X to 50 (I'm guessing X = 30 given where the range of Night Ward starts but I'm not sure) as my Incarnate was able to speak to Trilogy without introduction (same goes for Fireball). Both contacts are inside the Midnight Mansion.

Quote:It's inside the mansion as soon as you enter. I got inside last night but for the life of me honestly cannot remember how, I remember having the same difficulty getting inside though. I should think it would just be the front door...? I don't think anything else is required. The House Hunter Badge has anyone been able to locate it. I looked it up on Badge Hunters and it clearly shows it is inside the mansion but I can not for the life of me figure out how to get into it. The doors say I can not enter.
Any clues? Would like to find this one.
Worst case scenario: If you're above the level range, start the second arc in Ouro and teleport to the contact through the Pillar, that will definitely get you inside. -
The "Go" command specifically should not be necessary, but they definitely need to be directly in front of it with line of sight.

Grats! Don't think I would have had the patience to level such a character.

You can monitor Level Shifts in Combat Attributes but I don't disagree with you.

Quote:The progression of changes to Rage is kind of hilarious.List of items first appearing as player suggestions before being added to the game.
Can any one person point and say, "that was my idea"? Probably not. Things get suggested all the time and frequently get repeated. Can you prove that these things weren't already on the drawing board before appearing on the forums? No. Still, that's a long list of ideas that were discussed by players before any official announcement took place. -
Quote:I read just as many 60s comic books as I did early 90s comic books growing up. I've never understood the whole "the backstory is too COMPLICATED" line, if you're interested in the characters then you learn as you go, simple as that. This all follows from a general principle that's been true since the early 90s. Comic book companies want their creations to have a long and rich history that they can ignore and no one needs to know.
Once you accept that little bit of insanity, it all makes perfect sense. -
I have to admit though, I did chuckle at the Avengers drowning in money.

Her name is Penelope Yin, she uses Psionic Melee.
-
Despite being entirely satisfied with the results, I have to agree that it's kind of pointless to have a non-binding poll.
-
That was pretty horribly unfunny. They should stick to making fun of movies that are actually bad, their Spider-Man 3 video was pretty good.

Thank you so much for not using that horrifying "PENELOPE YIN WILL DEVOUR YOUR SOUL" skin (she'll also devour your skin). I agree that Yin's body takes on some Liefeld-esque proportions in what we have now, but at least my eternal soul remains intact (such as it is).
