  1. I have no trouble getting out of the way of the lights. *shrug* There is a delay between the warning and the actual attack, after all.

I do agree with MoiraMom though that it can be hard to see where the Lights of the Well (I assume this is not what the OP means by "lights"?), I wasn't assigned to take them out on the few times I've run the trial so it wasn't a real issue for me, but I did have a very hard time spotting them when I was looking out of curiosity.
  2. That's not a Taunt from the Painted Ones. It's a power they have called (wait for it) "Marked For Death" which actually gives you a Taunt aura. They've been doing that since Going Rogue came out, although to be honest I never really noticed any extra aggro from it (but then I wouldn't dare trying to do a missions with Ghouls on anything more than x1, which could be why).

I'm not aware of PPD having any taunting abilities but haven't done any content with then since I23 came out. It's not entirely new though, Black Scorpion used to have a Taunt power that would say you were Taunted but in fact did nothing (maybe debuffed your range? dunno). With Issue 23 that power now works properly on him, and I believe there may be one or two other older mobs that do it as well.

As for the inability to attack anything else until you defeat whoever taunted you, the mobs with taunt in Night Ward act the same way, so I'm not sure why you're surprised by that. I'm still not clear on whether or not that's WAI or a bug, though.
  3. I didn't even see a typo, I assumed it was some sort of reference that I wasn't getting.

Right, I forgot about the Totems as they deviate from the pattern of the bug. Everything else that uses those sound effects is some sort of flying thing (Rikti Drones, Police Drones, BP Masks, Council/5th Hoverbots) except the BP Totem, which also for some weird reason makes the same robotic falling-over noise that certain other humanoid robots make (Clockwork bosses, for one).

To the best of my knowledge no dev has acknowledged it, but there's no reason for a mystically-empowered mask to make the same electronic chirp as a robotic drone. Hence, it is a bug.

Shall we go a few more rounds?
  6. It's not a bug. It was introduced quite a while ago and I believe (unless I'm mistaken) that it was even acknowledged in the patch notes.
  7. Virtue Imperial City works fine for me, as well as at least 4 other people who are in zone when I issue "/whoall". Besides, if there were a problem with the zone itself, it wouldn't be causing you problems in the BAF trial and other instanced sections of the zone. At a guess, I would say that something about the geometry used for the zone (and thus duplicated in BAF and Belladonna's mission) isn't agreeing with your computer.

Because being driven insane is kind of part of Doc Ock's character (Green Goblin's too, and to a much greater extent) going all the way back to Amazing Spider-Man #4. I actually liked the character until the end of the movie when he suddenly decides he doesn't want to be a monster anymore and ends up saving Spider-Man (after learning his identity for no reason other than to unnecessarily tie the villain to both Spider-Man and Peter Parker, something that the upcoming movie seems to be following yet again with the Lizard).

I mostly avoid commenting on Spider-Man 2 because it has gotten me into long, exhausting, and ultimately pointless arguments in the past since most people inexplicably liked it, and since I haven't seen the movie in 8 years I kind of don't really care that much anymore.

    Could be.

EDIT: Serious answer, it's working as intended. The forum login cookie is set to 8 hours, and also resets whenever you close your browser. Now, you may be asking yourself, "Self, doesn't that make the 'Remember Me' checkbox entirely pointless?" Self is correct.
  10. It's...uh...not...

I don't even know how to respond to this. It's pretty clearly meant to be an electronic chirp, not the bizarrely specific noise (?!?!) you think it is. However, the fact that other non-mechanical mobs produce the same noise (BP masks and the aforementioned lanterns) is a bug.

More isn't always better. Look at Spider-Man 2, Which imo, was the best of the 3, due to the fact that it focused on one Villain, and how similar / different Doc Ock and Spider-Man were to each other.
Batman Forever and Spider-Man 3 had a lot of things wrong with them, it's entirely unfair and really nonsensical to blame it all on the fact that they each featured more than 1 villain. Spider-Man 3 would not have magically become a better movie if it had only featured Sandman.

    I'll withhold my comments on Spider-Man 2.
  12. Just ran Magesterium for the first time last night.

    Holy crap.

There's no exact translation from the original DarkGobbish but that's roughly accurate.
  14. I think some of those 3-starred players probably deserve to be bumped up a star or two after this. Also, thanks a lot, you realize the devs are just going to make the badge even harder now; you're not supposed to be able to get it yet.
  15. I was able to complete it on my first try by pulling the first several groups away and sticking to Laser Beam Eyes/KO Blow/Hand Clap to take them out. Then I pulled the Flyers with the Lasers (which by themselves is enough to take out a Flyer in 2-3 hits) and very slowly worked my way through the crowd. As it thinned a bit, I started tossing the ground punch into the mix, but only sparingly because each time I used it or Hand Clap I hit a major lag spike. I withheld my Zeus' Lightning (the first slotted power) for the final group of AVs and did briefly lose connection to mapserver, but managed to come back from it before fully DCing and was able to complete the mission.

It's a shame that it can't be a more epic battle, but playing it carefully it doesn't really take too long to complete.
  16. Created new Praetorian on Protector (an empty server for me), logged off in Imperial, was able to log back into Imperial without any difficulty. Whatever your difficulty is, it's not global.

    Which server are you on?
  17. Wow, they literally just did s/Sister Psyche/Penelope Yin. That would be hilarious if it weren't so sad.

    Runaway Robots

The pathing/AI problems are supposed to be fixed this Issue, and I can't say that I've ever noticed any difficulties with my Bots on BAF pre-Issue 23 (haven't done any of the trials post-I23). Kinda have to wonder if the "fix" just ended up causing another problem.

Complete The Magician's arc called "The Gate that Cannot Open". He's the final contact in Night Ward.

For the record, Sir Bedwyr's arc is called "A Matter of Honor".

No, the fact that Hybrid is a toggle that only stays active for 2 minutes is WAI. Like Xyzor said, the not detoggling part is a bug.
