Runaway Robots
I think putting them in bodyguard mode solves the issue.
The pathing/AI problems are supposed to be fixed this Issue, and I can't say that I've ever noticed any difficulties with my Bots on BAF pre-Issue 23 (haven't done any of the trials post-I23). Kinda have to wonder if the "fix" just ended up causing another problem.
"You don't lose levels. You don't have equipment to wear out, repair, or lose, or that anyone can steal from you. About the only thing lighter than debt they could do is have an NPC walk by, point and laugh before you can go to the hospital or base." -Memphis_Bill
We will honor the past, and fight to the last, it will be a good way to die...

There's still a thread on the front page about how henchie AI goes bonkers on the BAF map. If you're not having a problem with it, you must be in a very small group.
Check out the Repeat Offenders network of SGs! You'll be glad you did.
I asked during the Google Hangout what caused the BAF issue. The explaination I got is on the Yotube video, but I'll summerize:
The AVs in Incarnate Trials have an invisible power that does a check of how many players are on the map at a given time (not sure why, but it does). What USE to happen is that when the AVs would pop this power, it would cause Pets to believe their owner had come under attack. Which would cause them to aggro the offender.
I was in a BAF with a full league and my pets (Ninjas no less!) did NOT run off to aggro Nightstar or Seige.

The devs during the hangout claimed the issue was fixed as of a patch ago. And since my Ninjas obeyed my command during a BAF, I assume it's been fixed.
That's one AI bug down, half a dozen to go.

confirmed, joined a BaF last night called my bots as soon as i walked in the door they stayed right with me! So yes it seems that is fixed!

So.. I have been doing BAF trials and if I summon my bots when i enter the area just after the cut scene..they tear off across the grass and head to the wall! ( the one you normally fight Siege and Nightstar at) Before i even have a chance to upgrade them, heck before i even have a chance to get them all out! I have to start spamming follow/passive and stay/passive to get them to sit still and even then i am not even sure if that is working.
If I summon them at the wall they tear off around it heading east. Again i have to spam follow/stay. How ever if i summon them at the sidewalk to the south they seem to behave. The whole thing is rather embarrassing.
There is nothing nearby when this happens to agro them, and the direction they always go has nothing there at least nothing i can see!
I have only Done BAF , LAM and TPN on my MM, of the three BAF and LAM have caused my bots to run amok as soon as i summon them
Let me add I am quite familiar with pet controls having two bars devoted to various commands ( i prefer macros over binds)
The question is.. does this happen to anyone else? if it does what is the cause of this behavior. Or am i seeing the Pathing/AI issues i keep hearing about?
