Well, the VIP Starterkit is great!
Great for new people, great for people who want a second(third/fourth/fifth etc.) account.
The rest.. meh.
XP Boosters?
I still have them, unused, so i'm not going to waste my PP's on that.
Windfall power?
See XP Booster.
I/O Licence?
I'm VIP, don't need it.
Server token?
The free ones i get are collecting dust as is.
Respec token?
I'll run a respec Trail if i need one. Plus i still have several free respecs saved on all toons.
Large Inspirations?
A member in my SG restocks both Insp bins with large, so no need for that eirther.
I/O sets?
I get them with Astral Merits, plus i have tons of what i need saved in my base. I'll NEVER spend PP's on them. (Maybe the AT I/O set, and that's a BIG maybe)
Martial Arts pack?
Bought it days after it went up in the old store.
Overall thoughts about this?
Even though i'll get the VIP Starterkit for my 2nd account, the rest i can not use or will not waste my points on.
I do like the fact that there are items for sale for non VIPs, and i think that a few items will be flying over the digital counter like $1 ice-cream cones on a hot summer day.
I was hoping to see a sale on more useful items, like say the I/O Boosters, powersets, AT's and costume sets.
Maybe on Cyber Monday?

i suggest accounts that have been inactive for 2 year, and those toons that are level 25 and under.

I talked to P.E.R.C., they told me that the PvP Reps are not part of their thing.
They also said that the PvP Reps shut down.
I talked to the 'former' Guardian PvP Rep yesterday, i say former cause he has been gone from our server for over a year, even left the PvP channel called Guardian WARS he made, although he still insists he is our Rep.
So, if anyone knows who to contact, who to talk to who knows, or who is part of it, could you please inform us what's going on?
I know not all servers are as PvP heavy as others. Guardian PvP isn't as big as Freedom, but we have a lot of people who are interested, esp now with the new people.
I know several people who'd be a fitting Rep for Guardian. -
I'm thankful for not being on the Exiled..uhm.. Exalted server, hence you can't see my toon, it's fully invisible, a real ghost.

Ask to be escalated. It's what I did when a GM told me that you can't pick up ancillary powers at 35.

I'm trying to find out where to complain about a certain Game Master.
This Game Master is more of a Game Noob. I'm trying my best to not name his name, or break any other forum rules.
The last 3 issues i had in game where handled by the same person.
This person does not know anything about the game, stating that "PvP sets do not grant a PvE bonus" and telling me i should respec out of them was the 1st clue. He refuses to look up information to help out.
I asked him to please stop handling my tickets, yet today i noticed that he again 'helped' me with my latest issue. Again he provided me with useless information, without even looking up the information he has access to to give me a solid answer.
I did the survey, and i stated my case, yet it didn't help.
So, please, does anyone know where i can go, who i can talk to about this person? -
There is one toon i play more than anyone plays their toon, i'm almost sure of it.
My Crab Spider named Nephila.
I've been on him for over a year now, only played other toons very seldom.
Neph has a 26Bill build, 15 Incarante T4's and is my most powerful, and most versatile toon i have, a real jack of all trades.

-CoP was brought back, IoP was personal buff.
-IoP info is again SG Buff, type [Anger Monument] and look at it's info.
-Gave some base love on the CoX site.
-Gave some base love ingame.
-Defensive items attack people in base.
My guess.. i22/i23 will see the return of base raids. -

I was so looking forward to placing a set on my Crab named Nephila. My thought was to replace the Posi Blast i had, till i found out that i could switch a few sets around, and replace Posi with my 5th purple set. So yeah, now it won't help me, just hurt me. My Rech without Hasten is 100% in PvE, little over 120% in PvP.
And my pet build will have perma pets with hasten, even the Patron Pet will be perma. -

A few weeks ago i noticed that on my Crab Spider my resistance is nowhere near normal levels, it's actually worse than in PvE.
I asked a few other Crabs i knew to test this, and they too say that their resistance is below par, while the rest of the stats are correct.
I use Mids, as i recall, Mids calculates DR, but, even if it didn't, i'm close to 15% below normal level.
I have been arguing with CS about this for weeks, and they keep telling me that this is working as intended while refusing to look at the numbers, even when i attached this snapshot to my reply.
I asked them to add the numbers, even just compare the Fortification info with the Combat Attributes number, it doesn't match, and it doesn't add up, at all. VEAT DR is 0.9/1 this is closer to 0.63/1.
Now, is there someone who can explain this to me? Is there anyone with an idea? -
Look, nobody here can tell someone else how to play their game.
We all see the danger in DfB, like we saw with AE.
Truth is, i really don't care how u play, as long as you are happy.
BUT...
If your on my team, and u got a 50 by only doing DfB, don't know your toon and are hindering the team, i'll kick you off the team faster than you can say "No". I'll also place my 'brand' on you, making you very easy for me to spot, and not team up with.
Once people see what i see, and do what i do, you won't find a team for anything. -

Just because you cannot customize your powers to the the VEAT does not mean that you do not have a united concept. The problem is.. not many understand the meaning of the name. They see a generic looking Crab outfit with black and gold.

I'll be entering, not hoping to win, but supporting the cause.
Maybe just an outfit shouldn't matter, maybe the opinion of the server should play a factor too.
Who's friendly, always helping others, has a great toon with a great concept to match.
Mr. and Mrs. (Server) should be respected and liked by the server's player base. It's just a thought .....

So my VEAT is being punished for having a generic VEAT outfit, the only outfit which truly represents who he is and where he came from.
Also the fact that VEATs and HEATs can't customize their powers doesn't bode well.

DfB is the AE for free players!
I've seen people hit 50, by just running DfB's. Ask them to go to Kings Row, and they ask "What's that?"
Ask them how they like their 'Knockout blow' as a SS Tank, they say "Never used it."
It's a shame that we now have AE Babies, and F2P DfB Babies.
IMO, there should be a cap on this, can't run it past level 10. If you are over level 10, unless u never done the trail your out of luck.
They made Ouroboros available at level 14, yet they don't know what it is, because ALL they do is DfB, DfB, followed by a DfB till they hit 50 in DfB. -
Not on Exalted, never will either.
But i am looking for the global handle @Nephila. -

You don't have to move any existing characters to Exalted. Since this is a costume content, you can make some new character there. If this was some other event, you could move an existing character and then move him back and ask your SG for a reinvite.
As for the free server tranfers, I personally use them as free rename tokens.
I understand that the SG will not loose it, but the toon's slate will start at 0.
This is one of the main reasons i don't just send my toons on vacation to a diff server, esp not for an event where my chances are slim to none to actually win something.
As for making a new toon just for that event, as stated, i avoid that server like the plague, making a new toon just to join an event makes me look like a hypocrite.
All i want is that they don't forget about the rest of the servers.
And to someone else.. Please, don't make an assumption and think that that is the reason. When you assume, u make an a$s out of yourself.
And if this is something to show their VIPs some love, and show them that they are appreciated, does that mean that the VIPs who stay loyal to their home servers are not loved? That the players who played for years, and now came back are not loved? That the free players, trying this great game out, are also not loved?
Free players are being very, in my opinion too limited, in their actions. Showing them that we have Devs and a team that does not distinguish Free, Premium and VIPs but treats them the same, would make them see that we do have the best team in the business, make them see why this game is so loved by it's players, why they should stay, why they should become VIPs, become veterans to this amazing game, and maybe even bring their friends from the other games they play(ed). -

I had a feeling when during the headstart of i21 all events were held on Exalted while the other servers are being ignored.
Now another Costume Contest, on Exalted. *SIGH*
Look, it's nice that you guys hold a CC for people, but does it really have to be on just that server?
Not everyone moved to Exalted, not even with the monthly server transfers we get. I for one, avoid that server like the plague, the server transfers are collecting dust, and get more and more frustrated by the fact that the majority of the player base and it's servers are being neglected.
Yes, i'm a VIP, but does that mean i HAVE to move to the VIP only server? It seems that with the monthly server tokens we get, you, the Devs, would like to see that.
I have my toons, my SG and my friends on Guardian, i am not moving, no matter how many free server transfers you try to cram on my account.
I've seen a lot of people complain about these free tokens.
Yes, i totally understand the idea behind it, and i'm thankful that we get a little extra for being a VIP. All i want, and not just me, is a choice, is freedom. I hope that in the near future, we can either trade the server transfers we received, or, what i really hope, that we get a choice in a reward.
Look, it doesn't have to be the same value, really it doesn't.
Say we can pick from:
- Free Server Transfer
- Free Server Slot
- Free Respec Token
- Paragon Points (400-600)

Initially, it could allow the Team Up Teleporter to act independently of the server so that you could always find a team for Incarnate Trials, and later expand to general cross-server teaming. The developers could make dimensional teleportation centers (Pocket D, Grandville Portal, Nerva Portal, Peregrine Island Portals) to allow for temporary transfers to other servers. When you log out, you get transferred back to your home server.
The <home server> could be hidden for those that don't want to see it most of the time, but could be accessed at any time like the current setting to show player name on target or mouseover.
By using <home server> instead of <global name>, it protects player's need for anonymity and allows players to have multiple copies of their character.
All these points validate the use of a cross server platform.Quote:Summary:

1) Those people love to bash others, and i don't really pay attention to them. Once in a blue moon they come with a valid point, and that means that we can think of that and see how to change something.Quote:Cons:

3) Yes it does. It does need a serious investment of time, and a lot of testing. But it doesn't have to be out over night or in a few weeks.
4) Yes, but that's the same issue that we'd have now. So no issue in my opinion
5) Have an option to hide it under mouse over/selected only. And when on home server, just neglect it completely. It could be active only when on vacation on a diff server.
6) If they don't like it they don't have to go to a diff server and be named Nephila@Guardian to meet Nephila on Exalted and Nephila@Virtue. When those come to his own home server, he'll be still Nephila, while they'll have the @servername attached to their name.

Glad that there are a few others in favor of cross server teaming, and pulling the community closer instead of driven them further apart.
Esp now with the new VIP only server, some friends are there, i'd love to visit them as a VIP, or have them join us for a trail or two.
