SoA-specific IO sets

For those who haven't seen this yet. There are AT-specific IO sets in the database that have not gone live. In case you haven't seen the SoA sets (there are two, one "regular" and one "superior") it is called "Dominion of Arachnos". They can be slotted into any attack.

The regular set's bonuses are +7% acc/health +1.88%/dmg 3%/+ 8.75% rech/ +toxic and psi resist +2.21%.

The superior set has the same bonuses at a greater value: +15%/3%/4%/10%/2.52%.

They also share the same proc, chance for -dmg and terrorize. The regular set is fixed at triggering roughly 4 times per minute, the superior set at 5 per minute. Both have a 10 second duration with the fear being mag 2 and the -dmg at 7.5%. Since these can be slotted into any attack it would be interesting to have both procs (if allowed) to be placed in something like spin maybe. I was hoping for a chance for toxic damage personally, since for me that is kind of the theme of the AT.

BTW I think these will be only available through the marketplace, but not 100% on that.

Would buy these. That recharge would be sweet on my crab for pet recharge.

I was so looking forward to placing a set on my Crab named Nephila. My thought was to replace the Posi Blast i had, till i found out that i could switch a few sets around, and replace Posi with my 5th purple set. So yeah, now it won't help me, just hurt me. My Rech without Hasten is 100% in PvE, little over 120% in PvP.

And my pet build will have perma pets with hasten, even the Patron Pet will be perma.

Yea would be nice for perma pet build types.

Looks like something may be changing with the SoA set. The Superior set's proc is still "-dmg and chance for terrorize", but the lesser set's text has changed to "chance of -dmg and toxic DoT".

I hope it's the latter, as a toxic DoT would be much more useful for us, rather than a mag 2 terrorize who's recipient will most likely get one-shotted with the same attack that triggers it.

Also, as of now both sets are unique and you can only have one of either slotted (either the lesser or superior, not both). Will be interested to see if that changes.

Have thesr been offical announced and given an ETA?

probably a quibble, but why would an SoA want an accuracy bonus with 2 powers that give that?

What exactly can the set be slotted into?

I'd love to replace my lvl 35s in my only non-purpled out power, since I was going for the global recharge. I shall be even more OP than before. Penelope won't just get solo'd to 60% health next time.....

So, I'm looking at some stuff and my question is this. If you don't have any other purple sets slotted, so you don't have any extra 10% recharge bonuses, is it better going for the normal IO set for 8.75% or so, or superior for 10%?

And any news on the procs? The text for the SoA one normal still talks about terrorize that procs 4 times a minute, but the quick enhancement view still says +toxic dot. The superior is still a terrorize but 5 times a minute.

We dunno how long the proc lasts, but every minute that is a mag 10 fear with superior (mag 8 for normal) and is that really worth it?

I would rather see a small end or +damage proc like build up, or a DoT over this.
