Well now that we have side switching and some people maintaining grey alignments, earlier access to the Midnighter's Club is useful for the purpose of moving between zones as it has different connection points from the RWZ.

Quote:Because with the password he gave you, you were disguised as Ashley's father and were discovered. It's not going to work again.
True but after the discovery the Disguise was still active, so they don't know who it was that broke in. Also the password isn't any different either. If you were using a different password to get in for Wades arc that would make sense. Wade gave you the old password, you break in and then they change it. But that's not what happens at all.
The password is the same between Wades arc and the Initiation arc. So there is no reason why Wades arc can't unlock access to the Club. -
Quote:Ok, but seeing as how running Darrin Wades arc gives you the password to the Midnighters Club, why doesn't the Theft of Midnight Badge grant access to the club?Villainside you don't get access to MC until 30 because Darrin Wade's arc would be subverted if you were already a member of the MC.
Afterall I know the password now,so why wouldn't I use it. Besides it's not like they can actually trace the theft back to me. -
I'm very tired of seeing Ice Mistral as a WTF.
More SF's for Villains please. -
Hmmmm.....
I wonder if Axis America Earth(the one Reichsman is from) has a Recluse?
That could be interesting. -
Interestingly I had the opposite reaction to Dietrich during the RWZ arc.
Now the character I did this on was a villain, but between the writing and his backstory there was a connection with Sefu. I actually ended up liking Sefu, because here for the first time is a Longbow Agent that isn't all gung ho and frequently wonders when Longbow crosses lines.
than Nemesis makes his move and being the villain every single Nemesis soldier in the following mission is dead. So now we have the confrontation with Dietrich after the events, and she breaks down. I wanted to stab her repeatedly. My reaction was "oh now you realize Longbow goes to far, it only took the death of someone who is far better than you will ever be. NO you don't get to breakdown, if you weren't such a blind soldier that represents everything wrong with Longbow this whole mess could have been avoided. But NO, you're to stupid to realize how abhorrent longbow is."
So no Dietirch was not a tender moment, it was in fact a rage inducing moment. It's too bad we didn't have multiple options when that was introduced because Longbow would have lost another high ranking officer that day.
But back on topic to tender moments,
the Ms. Francine story from Westin Phipps. It's a very tender moment and probably results in the most voluntarily failed mission in the game.
Also the story arc with the Bane scouts that actually split from the hive mind.Specifically the two orphan siblings. Unfortunately that arc is from Phipps and ends tragically. -
Experiencing a similar issue.
recently lapsed on my VIP status.
While I was Premium(Tier 9 Rewards) my characters got locked, so I unlocked a couple that I wanted to play with.
Renewed my VIP status, but the characters i didn't bother to unlock are still locked. I'm very Obviously VIP again as I have full posting capabilities. For further proof of VIP my Incaranted 50+3 that I unlocked has full access to his powers, and last weekend I was able to participate in the Stalker run of the LRSF on the Beta server -
Waterspout also.
As soon as any of the pets/pseudopets do damage agro is generated for you. Knockdown helps remove risk, but the agro is there.
Summoning Lore Pets doesn't break hide and neither do non attacks (like the medicine pool) -
Quote:For one thing, Cottage Rule means SS is never getting another AoE attack, unless maybe they decide to add damage to Hand Clap. Even then, it'd be terrible for AoE unless they also removed the knockback.
While that is true, Proliferations are able to avoid this issue. Of course SS getting proliferated has a whole slew of other problems. Though it might actually be easier to proliferate it to Stalkers first(Since Rage would probably get replaced with build up) then once that happened proliferate the Stalker version to Scrappers(again with build up instead of Rage) either way it's likely to be a lot of power tweaking. And of course that wouldn't address the issues Brutes and Taakers have with the set. -
Time vs Money
do it through time and you have 4 days for a full switch
Pay PS extra money and you can do it now.
Same thing with respecs really.
Spend time to complete the Trials or buy it now. -
Quote:Is it an active invasion in Galaxy though?Oh right, because Longbow taking Fort Darwin is inexcusable, but Recluse invading Galaxy City isn't grounds to just declare war and stop all over the Isles, right?
Is he actively attacking Civilians or is he just there laughing at Statesman and the Phalanx? -
That's not true, on my NB/SR Stalker depending on what content it is that I'm doing(certain team situations) I've been in situations where going through my attack chain of Gamblers,Flashing,Soaring,Golden non stop has bottomed out my end. Hasten wouldn't add anything to my character since the 90%+ recharge I already have can cause me to bottom out my end.

Nope, gonna have to go with Ageless. +End,+Recharge,+Recovery/+Debuffresist it's nearly perma and it's a PBAoE
All the benefits of Speed boost without touching movement
now granted it's an incarnate ability, but there were no exclusions made for this discussion -

That was actually changed when the Fury changes went through.
Brutes can no longer outdamage Scrappers at the top end. Though during normal play enough Fury will put you ahead of Scrappers assuming no external buffs. -
I guess I had some numbers wrong then.

Quote:I went back to my ages-old Blaster after leveling my Stalker. It hits more targets, sure, but it was mildly depressing just how much more damage per attack the Stalker was able to put out (again, fewer targets).
I'm curious as to what type of Blaster you were playing and what type of Stalker?
Because Numbers wise a Blaster should be outdamaging a Stalker in most scenarios. Aside from a Hidden AS, Stalkers can only out-damage Blasters in certain edge cases. -
Quote:Originally Posted by RedlynneThe funny thing is ... I'm pretty darn sure it ought to be perfectly possible to rig up a power in the game which detoggles Hide, *instantly recharges it*, and then in the very *next* Arcanatime Moment toggles Hide back on with a minimal animation time (ie. not the 0.73 second animation usually used when toggling on the power normally). We know that being able to toggleoff/toggleon is possible, because we use it in keybinds all the time. We know that being able to instantly recharge a power is possible, because Kinetic Combat does it for Build Up when Concentrated Strike scores a Critical Hit. And we know that alternate animations can be used for powers, because that's the key technology that makes Momentum for Titan Weapons possible.
And why would doing something like that be useful? Because being able to do something like an auto toggleoff/toggleon of Hide in near zero time would make it perfectly possible to have ALL Stalker (single target primary attack) Critical Hits "re-engage Hide" DURING combat as the signature means a Stalker uses to deliver Double Damage to targets. It wouldn't be "instant" double damage like a Scrapper does with their Critical Hits ... but it would make the Hide power a combat relevant power since Stalkers would "naturally" flicker in and out of Hide DURING combat.
Reading this over I noticed a point of contention.
This proposal has a crit automatically Re-Hide you. My point of contention is the because it's based on a crit it's actually closer to a Scrapper Mecahinic than the proposed Assassins Focus. Since Stalkers only have 2 controlled crits at the moment Hidden and Placate, this will see the most use from the Random crits rather than the controleld aspect Stalkers already have. Since this gets more leverage from Random Crits it's actually closer to Scrappers than the proposed Focus would be. -
Quote:Setting aside the fact that the US coast isn't a straight line and I'm sure there's a way to jigsaw that map so it works, that comes off as an immensely egotistical thing to say, especially since some of us think your 'corrections' are a load and that the writing staff is a lot better than you give credit.
You certainly can jigsaw it, however anyway you draw a border to cut off Nerva from the rest of the Isles would look weird. Now granted I don't know anything about how coastal borders get drawn, but from what I'm seeing any kind of border drawn around nerva would look wrong, unless it also cut off St.Martial.
heck with how close Nerva is to Cap, you couldn't go on a fishing boat withtout infringing on the border. -
Quote:The fly in the ointment is the map of the Rogue Isles. Quick, what's wrong with this picture?
Well if Nerva is supposed to be within US waters it's on the wrong side of the map and should be where the "The Rogue Isles" title is. -
10% for Boss rank and higher
5% for all others
I'm not entirely sure on the numbers for Stalker APP though, I just know they don't crit properly.
I went ahead and asked someone else that knows more about this than I do and sent them a link to here.
