I replied to the tech suport email they sent me so they could have more information regarding this issue. After providing more info the tech suport guy is raising the priority... I think so this can get looked at.

Well I had the GM move my toons and i am once again able to play my scrapper.

As for my new Tanker he still gets warpped back to Talos since I was nevr able to finish the leaving preatoria mission to talk to my primal earth contact so it looks like i'm screwed until Talos gets looked at...

I tried logging into my toon thats stuck in talos and it still gives me the No Mapserver Connection. Try again." message,however there is another odd bit of info I missed earlier.

Although my toon is located in Talos the "Enter Paragon/Rogue/Preatoria" message reads "Enter Rogue Isles" which is very strange. As Kyle mrntioned I'm probably going to get a GM to move my toons to a safe location.

When I go to do this I am assuming that I will need to be loged onto a another toon to make sure I am in game when I ask for help.

I play on the Virtue server. I tested to see if Talos was working this morning and still nothing. Guess I will need to log onto one of my other toons and wait for a GM to move my two toons somewhere else.

I just finished the "leaving preatoria" mission where you have to pick a side to go to and my tanker went with heroside since it makes sense to his backstory and as soon as I was being sent to Talos the game locks up tighter than my jaw after hearing Justin Beiber sucktastic music....anyway my question is anyone else having issues with this mission or is it just Talos thats down atm? Also my sent my scrapper to Talos and she too got caught in the blag-ole.

I also forgot to mention that the client crash/lock is giving me a mapserver connect message.

A shame we couldn't get the crab pack to only show on the crab builds and disapear on the bane builds but as stated many times already to do that would require a recoding for the AT powers iirc.

SS/WP only thing is it isn't IO'd out it's just using SOs since it isn't a main toon.The Crab has some IOs but he is as functional as the brute is.In other words neither toon is bad they just aren't uber ...yet.

If i get back in time ill join you since I have a lvl 46 crab and a lvl 50 brute I can use for the SF.

I know that Virtue seems pretty friendly when it comes to Kheldians since my WS had no problems teaming at any point durring her time from 33 to 50 (she was a transfer from Infinity long before AE or the recent free server transfer event.)

Personally i use my bases all of the time as well as the Ouroboros portal which often depends on what i'm doing at that time.Hero side I perfer to use bases since it's far easier to get to a zone outside of PvP zones that is.

Redside I use the Ouroboros portal more for travel and my base for storage and crafting which is still used more often than travel.

As for the OP get over yourself.It's clear that asking a handful of people on Freedom of all places was clearly not enough people to represent the entire or majority of the CoX player base as far as Bases go.My advice is stop while your ahead since many of your replies are becoming progressivly troll-like and/or the means to start a flame war which the mods and the rest of us on these forums don't like getting involved in.

This is deffinetly pissing me off to the point of madness.I run a lowbie paper mission with my Spider and even though I miss a mob of roughly 6 or so they ALL run away forcing me to play some pointless version of whack-a-mole which is NOT fun for me.Even if the mobs are +4 they still run like i've got a weed whacker and their face it a giant grass lawn (as opposed to a lawn made of bread or something....shut up it's my joke.)

Just once i'd like a group of mobs to have some balls and fight me head on instead of running like it's the friday night sissy fights.

Just to reconfirm the answer to the second question of the OP:

No nothing done in the AE missions affect any of your badge requirments (damage farming etc) except AE related ones (sych as Poor Impluse Control etc.)

I've already got my two toon names reserved for when GR goes live. MY Demon/Dark MM will be named Cyber Demon Master and my dual pistol/Kin corr will be name The Envoy of Punishment.

I even have my WS preped and ready to head to RI once it goes live since i've always wanted a villain Kheldian.

Personally I understand the time restraints when it comes to the quality assurance portion of this game and in all products in general but I do have to say that it does suck from time to time when you run into situations where the bugs or issues seem too abundant to look like anything is being done.

In regards to this game the only reall issues i've had with this game in the recent past was that damned infernal chat bug and the broken drop rate which were both fixed (the later sooner than the former.)

You really can't blame them for all of the bugs that slip by them or have to ignore in order to take care of the more important fixes.

If I recall correctly the terms your looking for are American English and Queen's English since the people I know who live in those areas feel that does make more sense than the old English/American English terminology. As far as filters go I fully understand what you mean since the filter in the old Sega game Phantasy Star Online which often blocked out common words only for the fact that they has minor or major "swear words" in them. An example would be the debate over the short word for jewish which would get blocked out due to the first three letters. In actuality that word isn't racist yet somehow is depending on the context. Then again just about sixty percent of those slurs could be negated due to context.

Most of the time I tend to ignore the main chat window unless i'm activly looking for a team or something so in my case it isn't as big of a problem.

Funny thing with me is that i'm constantly in Nova form unless i'm soloing scaled mobs. In that situation I tend to roll in Dwarf form due to mex resistances. Lately i've been trying the Human only build thanks to AlienOne's guide and truth be told I love Tri-form and Human only builds since Khelds are so unique.

No offense but it sounds more like a personal crusade than a serious issue. Don't get me wrong I agree with most of what your saying. However what I don't agree with is the fact that your taking most "swearing" too personally and odds are more personally than most other players here in our community. Personally if someone is getting on my nerves I just /ignore the little tosser and remove him from my list after a few days if i care enough to do so.

If your saving your ignore list for "bad" people your going to be waiting for a day that may never come since the ignore list is for people who are pissin you off. I use it all the time since it's really simple. If someone is hitting your "prolong irritation, raise bloodpressure" that's when you left-click their name, select ignore, ???? , profit. When I use this method I often remove the name a few days later if I care enough to do so. Especially now since Paragon Studio implimented the e-mail disable option which saved me plenty of time.

Also as far as my bile flinging is concerned I know that most of my yelling gets filtered not just on the forums but in-game as well and I make no atempt to get around them since that is rather pointless at least to me anyway.

Let me ask something since this topic has popped up as a sore spot for some unknown reason to me. Why is this such a big issue as of late? What are there that many whinny preteens shouting with the speed of a pnumatic drill or something?

Granted i'm aware that this game is rated T for teen and that the ESRB does not rate the interactions of players durring online sessions (funny yet pointless isn't it?) but to go this far as to remind everyone about something that's pretty basic to me since when I do use "swear words" it often has a vindicated purpose. I just don't go throwing out F-bombs like it's going out of style...unless i'm really pissed off about something any my brain gets stuck in a thought loop.

The main thing about profanity filters that aggerivate me is when they block out normal words due to them having parts of "swear words" in them such as Saturday since if you remove S,A,A,Y you get another word that is considered a "swear word" yet it's not...it is a day of the week. Then again not many people of my generation are aware that Sat is the sabbath and not sunday.

What point was I trying to make again? Oh right the mentioning of the filter and "swear words." All in all in-game we do have a profanity filter that works mostly. If there was a way we the community could modify our own profanity filters this whole topic could become non-exsistent since if you or your parents don't like "swear words" (which by the wat should be used more as a seasoning rather than the main ingredient) then with the filter customization that can happen and you can activly ommit words that end up on the list that aren't "swear words."
