  1. Only the bonuses disappear if you go more than -3 below them. If you have 25, 25, 45 IOs, meaning you have the "have 2" and "have 3" set bonuses, and you exemplar to 22, you'll have only the "have 2" set bonus. All enhancement-power will be working though (at normal exemplarness).
  2. They do indeed have ATs/powersets (see the Longbow Wardens or the Civic Squad for some instances). All Gravity Controllers in the game have Gravity, Kinetics, and for some reason Healing Aura and Regeneration Aura. (I am thinking their Transfusion doesn't work properly so it lets them still heal?)

A Spines Stalker would have resistances/defenses/mez protection to add to the sheet. A Plant Dominator would have no protection at all.

All of a specific type have the same powers, when at the same level (some have the same powers regardless of level, others have new powers introduced when they get to 30+ or 40+, say).

Stalkers do not use their AS or Placate as they don't have them; they don't have the AI to handle it probably. So you'd look for Spines ones using Barb Swipe, Lunge, Spine Burst, Impale, Quills, Ripper, or Throw Spines, or Reconstruction or Revive.

Plant Dominators have Strangler, Roots, Seeds of Confusion, Vines, Skewer, Fling Thorns, Thorn Burst, Ripper, Fly Trap, and Thorn Barrage.

    Spines Scrappers have bananas.
  3. You recommend both FA and CP, so there you go?

Aim isn't a huge deal; after they are hit by TS, the enemies tend to beeline for you, so just back straight up for a half second and they'll end up in a line. ET, they fall over, then they're sitting still & pretty and all clumped up for SB. Works wonders.
  4. Energy Torrent from the EPP does not do knockback against even-level non-knockback-weak enemies. Unless you're farming blues...then it's incredibly useful. On my non-IO-crazy Spine/Regen, BU, TS, ET, SB, all minions are dead (no Quills, here).
  5. Point of Concern: your binds, if copied, will fail, due to the magical curly quotes.

For over two and a half years I've worked on this project, mostly solo. To keep this short, this spreadsheet will detail all of the damage resistances, defenses, and mez resistances of all enemies in the game. Getting all of the data is a bit of a chore, but as of now, most of the information is present.

The list is a very large spreadsheet. It is fully compatible with Microsoft Excel and the latest Open Office (www.openoffice.org). I can only presume it also works in Star Office (www.staroffice.com). It has keys denoting any abbreviations, and is color-coded. Please note that there are many comment boxes scattered throughout, which either explain the data in the boxes they are attached to, or give alternate data in the case of resistance/defensive armors or strange glitches, or even buffs to allies. You can see these by mousing over any box with a small red triangle in its upper-right corner. (As well, at least in Excel, there are comments in the overlay panels. These can only be read if you are scrolled to the top of the sheet. Weird.) There is one sheet for damage resistances, and one sheet for mez resistances. I am by no means a spreadsheet guru, and have presented the information as well as I can.

If you have any questions or comments, feel free to leave them here in the thread, or contact @Culex in-game. Fixes to erroneous information I was not aware of are highly appreciated.

  7. Oh dur, right. I only did that for like a few dozen other powers this update. Changed and re-uploaded.

  9. Yeah, Banpan are in my next update (coming Monday), and I set them to "knockable." They had old data based on my personal tests, instead of actual info, where I probably just used a power that didn't do high mag knock.

False Nemesis, oops, you're right! I misread the numbers before. Fixed too.
  10. The comment that soloists should not play FF Defenders is fine, but also sounds a bit "get the heck out of the game." Unless you know of a City of Heroes console port that is single player. At least those of us who hate teaming with random people but also like FF can play Controllers or Masterminds, I guess.
  11. It'd be awesome if some updated data for EndMod/ToHit/Taunt/DefDebuff/ToHitDebuff sets could be put in.
  12. Latest Update - February 19 2008

    NEW URL: http://www.culex.us/ig/coh/CHres.xls

    Factions Added: none

Enemies Added: Equipment, Soldiers of Rularuu

Data Updated: Crey, Dark Miasma, Earth Control, Equipment, Fire Control, Ice Control, Illusions, Malta Operatives, Meteors, Pets, Praetorians, Rikti, Rogue Isles Villains

    Data Requested:
-<Fire Control> Imp data may be different, but they are hard to force-spawn from <Outcasts> Lead Scorchers; can anyone verify a lack of C weakness or the 40% F res? Previous numbers (from like 2 years ago) indicated 30% F res.
-<Rogue Isles Villains> Ayame Higarashi/Contemptress/Silent Blade, is their Ninja Reflexes an auto power or a toggle power like their Danger Sense? This can be detected with the usage of the combat-numbers. I know the numbers; just not whether it is auto or toggle.
-<Rogue Isles Villains> Miss Thystle is a Spines Stalker or Plant Dominator?
-<Soldiers of Rularuu> Brute Lord is a uniquely named but generic Boss in the Dr. Quaterfield Task Force, or what?
  13. I've been trying desperately to change over my nameservers to get away from an awful awful webhost... things are not going well let me tell you. I'll try to see what's going on and fix it. But I have a VERY bad flu-like cold so I may not be able to get it to work for a few days.

    For now, use

(The old hosting company often doesn't respond to tech support tickets ever, so here's hoping this issue does not take weeks to resolve.)

I did a good chunk of homework, sleeping off a cold, and watching movies too, so I feel accomplished. Now my lowest level is a 10, and I have 8 50s, with my next-highest being 43.

    A Proc Guide

I like what you do with the Pacing of the Turtle one. However with my Firefox setup, requested popups are redirected to a new tab; any way for you to make it pop up in a fake-popup box (with javascripting I guess) overtop the page itself, dulling the AT-part of the page? Not important, but would be useful for those of us with no popups/redirected popups.

Edit: Like how City Info Terminal does if you look at a badge in-depth.
  16. I have a 40 rad/arch on Virtue...works really nicely (although I had to obviously skip the Explosive Arrow). I finally made an arch/elec blaster...having lots of fun with that, too. Would never have taken Explosive Arrow on the blaster without this guide saying that it was quite nice. And it is! I am just having issues fitting in the two main blaps now, hah.

    Latest Update - November 13 2007
Beta tested I11, ran the LGTF, STF, H-2/3 Respec, V-1 Respec, Renault SF, some generic missions, then went through existing data piles some more.

Factions Added: Generator, Generic Heroes, Hero, Loyalists, Vanguard Sword

Enemies Added: 5th Column, Arachnos, Circle of Thorns, Devouring Earth, Equipment, Explosive, Family, Freakshow, Longbow, Meteors, Object, Paragon Police, Paragon Protectors, Psychic Clockwork, Relic, Rikti, Rogue Isles Villains, Scrapyarders, Wyvern

Data Updated: Civic Squad, Devouring Earth, Dockworkers, Escaped Prisoners, Family, Fir Bolg, Freakshow, Freedom Corps, Independent, Krylov's Creations, Longbow, Nemesis, Nemesis Automatons, Object, Outcasts, Paragon Citizen, Paragon Heroes, Paragon Patrol, Paragon Police, Paragon Protectors, Prisoners, Red Caps, RedCaps, Rogue Isles Villains, Scrapyarders, Tormented Victim, Unknown, Void Hunters

    Data Requested:
-Any more 5th Column guys? I have the data, just not names & ranks.
-Any other types of Dr. Aeon clones (like "Spines Scrapper," "Dark Defender," whatever); I already have data.
-Any other I11 content I have missed. Faction/Name/Rank is all I need for now.
-Are there really 7th Generation Paragon Protectors in <Crey> instead of just <Paragon Protectors>? I forget, I have them dual-listed and I have confused myself.
    -Anything with blanks!

    NPC Help:
These enemies come from various hero and villain missions at various levels. I have all the data, I simply do not know who is what archetype, like "Robot Mastermind," "Fire Brute," "Ice Corr," "Mind Dom," etc. Just knowing one power of theirs, be it an attack or a defensive power, is usually enough to pinpoint what they are except if they are a Fire Corr/Fire Brute. These are the ones needing identification, all from Rogue Isles Villains:
Bad Penny, Comrade, Contemptress, Dark Sabaoth, Dr. Eva Lone, Misadventure, Miss Thystle, Pyrelord, Sardonic
  18. It'd be cool if an in-game event about this DID have Contaminated all around the city (like the giant piles in Skyway, there)...and/or if it made anyone with Isolator have some sort of strong debuff applied to their character (like most of mine!)
  19. Zloth, it was mentioned in the other thread. The submitters didn't submit at an appropriate size (probably wide screen) and so Leandro put them into his own game and took new sample pictures.
  20. UPDATE
    www.culex.us/ig/CHres.xls

Factions updated: Cage Consortium Guards, Carnies (or was that in the last one?), Circle Of Thorns, Civic Squad, Clockwork, Contaminated, Coralax, Council, Council Empire, Crazed, Crey, Croatoa, Ghosts, Hellions, Hydra, Security Guards, some Shadow Shard Reflections (ones that are in the above groups; may require changes later)

Not in yet: I10 factions and new enemies such as Vanguard Sword, sorry

Next up: Continuing alphabetically as time permits, I10 entities

Errors: Several new enemies are listed under Crey (Fire Tanker Clone, Radiation Defender Clone, etc.) that I myself have never seen in-game hero- or villain-side. I would like confirmation if they do or do not exist in fact; if they don't, they will be removed as they may cause errors in damage deducing for groups.

    Disposing of: monthly updates
  21. I totally don't mind the non-healing of RV heavies. My badger can't heal. I never even bother helping the heavy to fight the turrets. 'Cause AR/Dev is really awful at that. I just hide and go "att agg" and the robot smashes stuff. Normally I can run through about 2-4 zone reversions, without anyone else in the zone helping/hindering, before it would die and I'd have to get another. Sure, it regenned, but whatever. Makes it even easier to get the heavy-grabbing badge when they die without people 'helping' by healing it or it regenning.

Having the enemies run out of a zone is great for running lowbies of mine around dangerous zones (like level 15s around Talos to sell at shops and WW easier).
  22. Trials bleh, but that video was awesome. Most videos are pretty boring, or they're pure CGI (er...more than normal) but this one using almost all in-game stuff and the 'roleplay' quality was great. Please make more videos like this. And release a bigger one that I can download and watch obsessively. I've shown this to non-COH friends/family of mine and made them merry too.
