A Proc Guide
Clicking on procs doesn't do anything in FF 2.0.0.11
Very nice layout, but after getting to the AT page, clicking on the procs themselves to nothing. (The rollover works however, telling the name and what it does in general)
Yes, that's exactly as it should be. As I mentioned at the beginning of the post, this is just the front end. I will be plugging in the html in chunks, but the actual layout won't change.
[Edit: One thing I will add, however, is a basic proc run-through on the main page. Beyond that, what you see is there to stay.]
[Edit 2: Okay, I just added an example of how this will work, all the way down to the tactical list. To view it, go to the controller section and click on Pacing of the Turtle. It is not the most exciting of procs in the world, but the basic information is there. Please let me know if there is any issue with the layout, appearance or information presented.]
I like what you do with the Pacing of the Turtle one. However with my Firefox setup, requested popups are redirected to a new tab; any way for you to make it pop up in a fake-popup box (with javascripting I guess) overtop the page itself, dulling the AT-part of the page? Not important, but would be useful for those of us with no popups/redirected popups.
Edit: Like how City Info Terminal does if you look at a badge in-depth.

Definately will be an awesome guide once completed. Good job so far! Hurry up though!
might be my system, but I don't get any pop ups/new tabs with either firefox or IE.
Did you look at the controller section and pacing of the turtle?
As of right now, that, Impeded Swiftness and the confuse procs are all up (for controllers only). Click on any of those, otherwise you shouldn't get anything.
If you are still not getting anything, do you have a popup blocker? That might be your problem.
As a way of an update, I have now added the basic guide to procs on the front page of my guide. The specifics for each IO/AT is still lagging behind. I started with a far too intensive approach, trying to give a guide to every power that each proc can be slotted in. The problem there was, as fast as I would input the data I would get reports that my previously 'confirmed' tactics were invalid, and have to go back and change them.
What I am going to do now is list the stats of each procs, its overall usefulness, and then list the applications where each shines, and then post a few warnings for bad power locations, as needed. Let me know what y'all think.
The link.
Please be aware, this is currently the front end only, but this will remain the valid link as I input the data.

Proc Tactics and You
Warning: I should warn that I am a very image-oriented person, so the site is image-heavy. For those with poor connections, I apologize for any inconvenience you might experience. That said, each Archtype section uses the same set of images. Once you've looked at one AT's section, the rest will be much faster
Guide to my guide: I've noted a whole host of threads popping up on what procs do what, and does it work well in 'X' power? Admittedly, I had (and still have) questions like these, but when I started to see clone threads asking the same questions, where I felt I could start answering them myself, I decided to put together a list of these answers, as well as a power or powerset-specific tactical analysis of a proc.
The main page: click on any AT symbol to view that AT's info. This page will look the same for every AT (with a descriptor letting you know you have the correct AT's page).
The proc table: click on any proc to open a text window that will list all uses for the relevant AT. I used the images because, as I said before, I am a very image-oriented person. I did provide a roll-over display that names each proc's name, and what it does, but not what power type this slots into. That information is part of the color-code most will know by now. It will also be listed in each window that pops open.
The wall of text: Each window that opens will start with a description of the proc, followed by how effective it is, and what power type is would be most effective in. Lastly, a list of powers will explain specific instances/tactics.
Color coding: Not everything I will be putting into this guide will have a chance to be 100% tested. So that I don't mislead anyone into buying expensive procs for them not to work as expected, I will be color coding the guide. Any tactic that is in yellow, is to be considered conjecture only. As I or others are able to test, I will be able to either remove the tactic, or set it as a confirmed tactic. Tested tactics will appear as normal text.
Obviously, I am not going to be able to test every combination or AT. I have never touched an emp, and stalkers just don't do it for me. With that in mind, I would welcome any input anyone can give, so that I can continually update this guide. So PM me with questions, ideas and tested facts/tactics!
