People have been building Blappers for awhile to leverage +def, heals etc to survive and do well as melee oriented toons (easier now with access to Scorpion Shield). Others have said that Scrappers do what you want with way less effort...but nothing like a challenge or being different if thats your thing.
If it works and you enjoy it, all the better. -

Bad Idea: Not purchasing upgrade or even minions and trying to get on teams with a petless MM.
Good Idea: Pushing the idea of a Killer Clown MM with clown car summoning and the works. -

My name isn't very common, and when the servers combined I found my name available on Freedom and the other servers, so to find my name gone after 1 hr of Exalted going live came as quite a shock and led me to believe the only reason why my name was gone, was to grief.
But I have grown past this now, I think the reason I was so pissed at the time was due to the fact I also lost my Global at the same time also, which could also lose me communication with people I have frequent with.
So now I'm happy to live on my home server and leave Exalted to whatever frequents their.
I guess I have too many toons on too many servers to really get it.
Sorry about the loss of your global name man, definitely not cool. -

I'm not really sure if the 'point 1' is so much a power as it is a byproduct of being the only people who can see strange, unusual and sometimes superhuman creatures living among us. Not only as a means of documenting their weakness for their descendants (because who else is going to do that) but also as a way of both telling fantastic stories and somehow warning the general populace (Grimm's fairy tales). I mean we haven't seen Nick documenting anything so far.
I'll actually be kind of disappointed if Nick ever gets any sort of super powers. It'd be like if suddenly Dean from Supernatural or any of the normal monster hunters from any number of novels developed super powers. It kind of becomes a let-down at that point.
Maybe when he runs across some species thats not in the book, he may document it. -

Yep, if they had worked hard in making the name have a good reputation after 7 years only to have the name taken by @The Knob Cheese because they wants the Rep.
Most of the griefing from Exalted server is because they want the Rep or Inf not so much the name itself.
Like I said before, not trying to be a jack***...I dont get it but would like to. -

It's also possible that he does have speed and strength, as seen in his dying aunt fighting the much larger reaper in the Pilot, it's just either it hasn't manifested or he just doesn't realize it yet.

Point 2, I just thought his aunt was a good fighter having honed her skills over time versus having augmented strength and speed.

StJ looks good like it does for any AT, like KM (well KM is not so hot on Brutes) - I don't see a disadvantage in StJ for Tankers compared to scrappers (except for the basic, crits and higher damage). With KM you'll have power siphon less often than a scrapper because CS won't have a chance to refresh PS.
I really like the MA version for tankers since Storm kicks gives +10% def to all, that's why I have a SD/MA, at level 4 she was with 25% def to all positions and after 22 (SOs, Phalanx Fighting, CJ) she had about 41% with one Storm Kick. With her my plan is to get to 49% melee at least to be incarnate sofcapped with SK, plenty doable on an Ice Tanker too (49% to s/l/e/n looks easy with IOs).
But the melee set I'd roll with Ice (I have it on an elec brute for the same reason) is Stone Melee, since it's an end monster and Ice doesn't care. Stone Melee has so much mitigation (Fault is great, hold 4 in seismic) that it may be even more survivable than dark melee depending on the case. -
Whats a good ST damage secondary outside of SS for an Ice Tanker?
Anyone tried Ice/STJ yet? -

I wasnt comparing the two, just thought it was cute that you rock Beyonce is all. Shes popular, but I cant wait to slap someone if theyre flipping channels and leave it on one of her videos for more than .7 secs. I guess its cool (maybe not) that youre a fan though. -
