  1. Ultimate, for the people who have gone past the new lower figure of per example the 'Empath' badge, note that several of these badges award access to SG base items, hence I was offering a suggestion to lower the requirement to get these whilst still keeping the more difficult 'Ultimate' one for the players who have gone to the effort of trying to get the current badges.

    [ QUOTE ]
No, what was meant was that if they change the required amount of healing to a lower level, they are devaluing the achievement of those who got it at the higher level.

    [/ QUOTE ]

My point exactly for having 'Ultimate' versions of these whilst making the originals easier again.

As for the 'Ultimate Explorer' it would be a case of it was yours to keep once you obtained it, however it would become harder to obtain once new content exploration badges were added.
  2. Suggestion for fix:
Why not lower the zeroes on these badges and replace the former almost impossible badges like 'Empath' with a new one like 'Ultimate Empath'.

That way the impossible badges become easier to get and the work put in by the badgers is rewarded too with 'Ultimate' versions of the newly adjusted easier badges.

    Additional:
Also why not add an 'Ultimate Explorer' badge once you have every exploration badge available to your faction, yes I know it would change as new content is added but I feel it would give (badge) explorers some additional motivation to get them all...
  3. To quote the OP:[ QUOTE ]
This is basically the ability to customise certain weapons in powersets but not change its colour or effect!

    [/ QUOTE ]

I seem to recall the issue with the elemental sets being the baked in projectiles and target semi-perma effects.

Officially bows have the same problem with their arrows...

However the work around for bows was to change the weapon model not the projectile.

The OP was suggesting various 'Legacy' models that could be used in addition to the current default.

As an example you could have a variation of a Talsorian Broadsword with flames or ice coming off it's blade, (Blade and handle colourable, vfx not affected.) or even with a fire or ice blade. (with a colourable handle.)

(With the above the vfx would be like a non customisable weapon aura.)

You should also note the OP noted that it would be the design of the weapon models that could offer alternatives, and not their projectiles or effects.

So no matter what weapon model you choose the projectile/enemy effects would be unaffected.
  4. To the OP: Dante,
Just go to atlas, etc. if you are level 25 or above and ask if another player will let you use their orobouros portal, that should count as time travel and get you both the "Entrusted with the Secret" badge and your own portal power.

    2. Have access to 'Air Superiority' PB and 'Hover' WS.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Meh, who cares about these? Keldians get lots of other good powers to choose from.

Again, not the buff they need.

    [/ QUOTE ]
'Hover' would help with the Warshades 'Teleport' power, removing the 2 second to teleport or you fall effect.

'Air Superiority' seems to be constantly suggested as a good additional power, so I suggested giving it to Peacebringers in leu of the Warshades getting 'Hover', especially as Peacebringers get 'Fly' as their innate travel power.

So my suggestion regarding these was perfectly valid, especially if they had the following benefits:
PB: 'Air Sup' Human and Nova forms. (Maybe Dwarf too.)
WS: 'Hover' Human and Dwarf forms.

So thanks AGAIN for the 'NON' constructive comments Praf68, Just because you wish you were a CoX designer.. You ain't btw!
Oh and as you dissed my suggestion:
    [ QUOTE ]
Yes. I suggested the following pool power (open to all, not just Kheldians).

    Advanced Training Pool

    1) +3 enhancement slots
    2) +3 enhancement slots
    3) +3 enhancement slots
    4) +3 enhancement slots

    [/ QUOTE ]
Absolutely sucks if you're a HEAT, because you would be making every other AT even stronger!

Advanced Training Pool = HEAT NERF!

BTW I corrected your spelling of 'keldians'.
  6. Ok I concede,

But, in my opinion the following changes (if made) should fix almost all of the HEAT issues.

    HEAT's should:
    1. Not have their innate and auto powers disabled.
    2. Have access to 'Air Superiority' PB and 'Hover' WS.
    3. I suggest.. Gain additional form only enhancement slots.

    ---

    Suggestion follows:
HEAT shapeshifters have 4 Nova form only powers and 6 additional Dwarf form only powers, that makes a total of 10 form specific powers without gaining any additional enhancement slots if they take both forms.

Form only slots would allow for additional customization without having to drop a form to save slots.

I would like to suggest adding these to the forms as follows...

Add 2 additional form only enhancement slots in addition to the standard generic enhancement slots at levels:
    Nova - 7, 9, 11, 15
    Dwarf - 21, 23, 25, 27, 29, 31

    ---

    Notes:
These are form power specific enhancement slots not for the shapeshifts themselves which use a normal power slot.

These would only be slotable in the corresponding form's powerslots.
(No dwarf form = No dwarf form additional enhancement slots.)

They would not affect the HEAT's ability to use additional standard enhancement slots on these powers.

    New Aura's

I think S4P wants an aura toggle command to turn all the characters auras on and off.

One of the requests I seem to be picking up on is multiple part auras, such as Glowing body with electric eyes at the same time.

The other request seems to be for a cape or wings made up entirely of aura effect, such as pure flame wings, etc.

Note: If the devs added an aura subsection to each of the sections that can have an aura in the costume creator it would allow for extra individual customization, whilst keeping the master aura section as now because this would allow for setting full body aura's and turning all the aura options off in one go.

    Head
    Eyes
    Chest
    Back
    Gloves
    Pants
    Boots
Aura (Possible master option for whole body auras.)

For example the Fairy (Butterfly) wings currently have a glitter or none option, what if the Insect wings were more suitable for that character...
Well currently (Afaik) insect wings don't have a glitter option so it completely ruins the effect.

Burned wings have None and Smoulder, and again (Afaik) they don't have Flame(s) as an option.

    ---

Oh and Mantle is the name of the neck/shoulder (Non optional if you select a cape) back piece capes attach to.
  8. Insanitor, VEAT's wear their armor so afaik they don't lose the effects such as the 'Bane Spiders Armor Upgrade's +20% Max HP.
  9. Easy drag a pet control icon to your tray and modify it as an attack with bodyguard with the following...

    Petcom_Name A Attack Aggressive$$Petcom_Name D Defensive Follow

You can also bind it as well.

    Notes:
    1. The 'A' and 'D' from the names refers to the choice of names I posted above for my Robotics MM.
    2. You may also notice that the letters also match: Attack and Defensive
  10. Oh and don't forget the Police/Arachnos Drones 1500 Perception Proximity Buff.
  11. Tier ?: Fast Forward:
PBAOE, Team +SPD, +Recharge, Self -Regen, -Recovery,
Using your mastery of time, you can accelerate yourself and allies.
However this drains you and causes you to age slightly faster than normal, which in turn causes your health regeneration and endurance recovery to temporarily drop below normal.
[u]Recharge Long, Effects do not stack from same power.[u]

    ---

This would be a nice buff as it gives the whole team +SPD and +Recharge, the only side effects would be the caster suffering a short term -Regen and -Recovery.

    Notes:
    1. This would be +SPD not +Running Speed and as such would enhance both Run and Fly speed.
    2. This would grant the equivalent of a weak Hasten and Superspeed but without the stealth effect.
    3. Effects do not stack from same power, well use Hasten and Superspeed at the same time then...
    4. Tier ?, well this is an additional suggestion so it would be up to the OP where they suggested placing it in their original suggestion.

What do you think of this additional option?
  12. A couple of MM ideas:

    1. Ghosts (AKA Controllers - Illusions)

Decoy, Terror and Phantasm types but using existing ghost visuals, Croatoa, CoT, etc...

    ---

    2. Ancients / Medeval (Aka Warriors)

Tier 1 - 'Guards' - Melee: Battleaxe, Broadsword, Hammer (Mace)
    (Upgrade to add more attacks.)

    Tier 2 - 'Rangers' / 'Archers' - Ranged: 2x Bows
(Upgrade to add Healing and Traps)

    Tier 3 - 'Knight' - Dual: Broadsword W/Shield and a Bow.
(Upgrade to add both more attacks and increased defense)

    ---

    3. For secondaries 'Superior Reflexes', 'Ninjitsu' and 'Grenades' (A variation of Trick Arrow)
  13. Yes but Petcom_name has the use of..
I'll use my MM's Robots as an example:
Tier 1: Bang, Crash & Wallop
    Tier 2: Decker & Black
    Tier 3: Killa Byte

    By using:
'Petcom_Name A' Would command all pets except one of the tier 2 pets. (Decker)
'Petcom_Name B' Would command one pet from each tier. (Bang, Black & Killa Byte)
'Petcom_Name L' Would also command one pet from each tier. (Wallop, Black & Killa Byte)

So by using Petcom_Name and suitably named pets you can command seemingly random groupings, such as the all except x of the 'Petcom_Name A' above, which in the case of robotics would leave a Protector Bot behind which would then be free for bodyguard duties.
  14. Interesting Zeero92,

    1. If you want to, why not ask for it to be moved by a RedName.

    2. What about petcomname?
    (See Petcom on Paragon Wiki.)

    3. Bonus info for Masterminds:

You get access to each tier pet at:
Threat level 1 - Tier 1 First Pet
Combat level 6 - Tier 1 Second Pet
Threat level 12 - Tier 2 First Pet
Combat level 18 - Tier 1 Third Pet
Combat level 24 - Tier 2 Second Pet
    Threat level 26 - Tier 3 Pet

First and second pet upgrade powers are available at threat levels 6 and 32.

    ---

    Notes:
Above I mentioned threat and combat levels...

Threat level is your current trained level for powers and power enhancement slots.

Combat level is you current 'Level Up' effective fighting level.

Which means for example that a threat level 5 mastermind dinging combat level 6 in a mission
doesn't have to train up to be able to summon their second tier 1 pet.

They can either use the summon if no pets are out or re-use the summon if only
one pet is out and it will summon the additional one also.
  15. Sorry but I have to shout this...

USE A RESPEC ASAP! BEFORE YOU LOSE THE INF FROM THE GAUSSIAN: CHANCE TO BUILD UP IO'S!
  16. Hmm, Giant Monsters are level 100, so double the strength of a single level 50...

    Chance to solo a GM @ lvl 50 = 0.000001%

Highest I've soloed so far is a lvl 36 purple con Crey Sniper on my lvl 31... (+5 levels)
  17. 1Damz, It's a known issue that stealthed characters suffer from excessive lag, such as Stalkers and Ill/ Controllers.
Try a simple test in the games 'Safe Mode' and see if he still crashes.
I would assume it's the combination of water glass effect and multiple team graphics causing the crash, see if turning the water quality effects down a little help.
Also please let me know if these help.
    @Coolio
  18. /signed, I would also accept glowing Talsorian armed ones.
  19. It would be nice for us to purchase our character's as figurines as part of the CoX merchandise.

Who knows maybe NCSoft would do this once the 'City Vault' is up.

Mind you you would have to confirm which character and costume you wanted a solid model of and in which pose/power pose/emote.

Cass_, I know but it was technically in response to ReclusesPhantom's:[ QUOTE ]
Noo! Not an engine like Crysis! As much as we'd love it imagine the massive overhaul people will to do on their computers just to get that CoX to work! =P

Actually ReclusesPhantom, having read CryTek's PDF on the subject, CryEngine2 will quite happily work on/with DX9.

And it should work on DX8 only with less detail.

That whole Crysis DX10 issue was caused by it only being setup to use DX10 code, hence the user modded .ini patches to tell it to use DX8/9 made the demo work on those too.

Also the current CoX engine capability and effects seem very, very similar to CryEngine 1's.

So hopefully this is a future upgrade worth having, as long as they allow for DX9 code.

I'm still waiting on the CoX engine upgrade to CryEngine2,
    As:
    1. AION already uses it.
    2. NO clipping issues.
    3. It supports DX8 through DX10
    4. It can make low poly models look like high poly ones.
    5. Automatic dynamic scaling of models.
    6. PC's and NPC's items including weapons and costumes are interchangable.
    7. Dynamic animations. (Inc. facial expressions, hair.)
    8. Ragdoll physics.
    9. Destructive environments.
    10. Vehicles.
    11. ...

This list could go on and on, but I think I made the key points above.
  23. Say_Ten, I just quoted their site as of today, so it seems MasterCard's own site is out of date!
