Nvidia to quit chipset business

They're quitting motherboard chipsets - i.e. things that enable SLI configurations and the like. It's not profitable enough so they're shifting the personnel over to GPU hardware and software.
Hell, they're already working on Direct-X 11 cards and integrating seperate physics chips onto current generation graphics hardware (so your CPU won't be as battered).

anybody who believed this was whacked hard on the head by jack in iron's club
it's ether wishful thinking for ATI, or they just listen to nvidia haters in some kind of tec forum.
