You will get far more use out of soul storm than ac. I am glad they made ac a pbaoe debuff so it was easier to skip, damn pain dom builds get tight.
-
-
Hero stats, if you can get it to work would be handy.
-
-
Fun fact: you can't use the arena temp stealth to hide for a whole match.
The more you know. -

Honestly, even guys like barrier and conflict, who may come off as meanies on here have always been the epitome of niceness any time I ran into them in the game.
These lies will stop and they will stop now! -
Yeah the second sudden death is the old sudden death, basically first damage dealt when timer hits 0 wins. I hate check boxes but this one really is needed. 2 people fight to a tie, even if someone ran the whole match, they earned a tie. This every encounter needs to resolve idea they have for pvp is nuts.
-
real numbers does not show dred recharge numbers.
-
As an emp you don't really need a hold, unless you want to mess with your teams mez suppression. Confuse is on a separate timer and is pretty much a placate which can come in incredible handy to break up spikes. You can live very well without rec aura. I could see a point for skipping confuse to take it though.
-
And /mm gets subdual which is decent damage, better range, cheaper to proc and can be fired while mezzed.
-
Not having confuse or tk really defeats the purpose of going mind. My current spec has lev, confuse and tk from mind. I took conserve and skipped recovery aura. On small teams or zones its a very strong build. Also if you are going to drop money on hamis get 3 membranes for fortitude.
-
The regen aura supresses but is still beastly even while suppressed. As to your aim slotting what mainly are you planning to do with this toon. If its as just a zone buffer and you plan to attack alot I would fit the +perc io in. If not and you are just going for a more straight up buff build don't sweat it.
If you don't take enforced morale I will make barrier come talk to you. -
Quote:Hiding a match out is pretty chickensh*$, imo...
prolly dodge a draft too
Comparing using an advantage in a video game to draft dodging is pretty awesome. Are you sentry4's second account or boyfriend or something? Good job on overstating your views and letting us all know you take life far to serious. -
Someone finish pling my grav cold, thanks in advance!

I don't pvp with scrappers so I wouldn't have known. Thanks for the info.
Quote:Pretty damn solid quote right there.a scrapper trowing webs is a scrapper trowing 30 mill's worth of io's at people. -
Some actual youtube of dinwoodie, dude has been special for a long time.

Mac you need to talk them into a 2v2, I will be your huckleberry.
And yes that heal and run toon line is an instant classic. -
One of the worst things about stone is how your hold and immobile mess up the sweet sexiness of /ea's kb. For this reason you will find yourself using your ea powers alot more than your primary. I would drop the snipe and and pick up blast, proced out it very nice damage. You will also find yourself hating life with that slotting on power push. With 2 nucs + 4 kin crashes you will find that you will stil be kbing most toons and the ones you can't you wouldn't have been even with a full set slotted. I use and endoplasm in the sixth slot of my stuns now. It ups the acc and bumps the duration a little bit. It may not seem like much but it will be driving people batty anyways. Most times power push + stalg is an auto kill.
This is a slightly tweaked version of what you had. About 30 less hp. It adds more damage and smidge more recharge. It also puts in a kismet which you are going to want without a plus tohit power. Also added a +perception io, some may say its a waste but I can really tell the toons of mine that don't have it and I have tactics on pretty much every toon I pvp with.

Quote:A Red Name isn't going to post to this thread, probably stopped reading at Mac's post if they bothered to read at all.
Get Arcanaville to post here. I bet we'll see a red name real quick.
I am fine with arcana staying away from the pvp section. And trust me, this section still gets read. Even I have to admit posting her would be a poor idea for them. No matter what it is it will get shredded and bring tons of drama. -
Quote:the argument was if fire was better then inval. I said only in fightklub situations, I still say I was right. Inval is not going to make you a killing machine hell just watch chuido. But It can take a spike or two...... just watch chuido lol
INVAL IS A BEASY SUN!
Now refer to my previous post for a honest and truthful insight into the subject. I have probably played ss/fire in pvp more than anyone who post here that doesn't fight club. In a team setting, be it zone or arena match its a damn near impossible kill. I would say invUl can be slightly better than fire for arena but at that point you should be bringing scrapper so you can still get nades and have better damage in the mix. As far as playing straight disruption its pretty much a tie on brutes. The only real difference is that fire at least stands a chance of helping in a spike when fe is up. Otherwise its just spamming taunt and nading and phasing when you need to. Even if the other side has a phaser to get a kill on you, you will buy enough time for hf to be back and you made one of them burn their no phase timer setting them up to be killed. -
aoe taunt, wow, now the inval secret is out.
On a serious note and invUl or fire with phase is pretty unkillable. With support they are pretty unkillable. Its really just a playstyle choice. fire will give you a little more offensive punch which on a brute you will need. Make sure to take anything you can thats ranged, hurl and mace blast, and proc them. Slot your taunt up good. Go forth and bring the anger on. Get ready for lots of 'lol abrute with phase' comments, but know they won't be getting many if any kills when you are doing it right.
A comment to Kool Virus, I would never skip temp protection. Along with the free -slow res that melees get now add in temp protection and you are very hard to slow dnow without a cold. And they just slow everything anyways.
In closing let me say that barrier and ready should just get a room and work out their issues. Though it is kinda cute to watch them flirt. -
Here is a horrible build I came up with. Way less +dam, way less rech the kb protection rings in at 41 though(w/ acro). And honestly AS + tof should mean you can placate then follow up with mg at will. Added some +rng defense. I know alot of people think defense is trash but I am still of the opinion its underrated. IN particualr on a stalker one miss while you are running away trying to get back into hide can be huge.

Figure out a way to get blinding powder in there. Its very useful and 4 slotting the purple set gets you another +4 dam.
