Earth/Energy Dom
One of the worst things about stone is how your hold and immobile mess up the sweet sexiness of /ea's kb. For this reason you will find yourself using your ea powers alot more than your primary. I would drop the snipe and and pick up blast, proced out it very nice damage. You will also find yourself hating life with that slotting on power push. With 2 nucs + 4 kin crashes you will find that you will stil be kbing most toons and the ones you can't you wouldn't have been even with a full set slotted. I use and endoplasm in the sixth slot of my stuns now. It ups the acc and bumps the duration a little bit. It may not seem like much but it will be driving people batty anyways. Most times power push + stalg is an auto kill.
This is a slightly tweaked version of what you had. About 30 less hp. It adds more damage and smidge more recharge. It also puts in a kismet which you are going to want without a plus tohit power. Also added a +perception io, some may say its a waste but I can really tell the toons of mine that don't have it and I have tactics on pretty much every toon I pvp with.

If it weren't already 50 I'd probably do the same, I'll just have to remember to use Fossilize as part of my attack chain after Power Push and Stalagmites.

If you put 2 KB slots in Acrobatics you wouldn't need the PvP Set to get you over 41.
This is conflicts build with a slight tweak to save buying PvP IO's.
Changes i made...
1. removed 5th performance shifter from stamina and adjusted slot to fit on Shark skin
2. swapped shark skin IO's to titanium coating, add Steadfast KB res to extra slot
3. this drops the 2.5 damage buff but changing Power burst slotting give 3% instead.
4. you do loose a few PvP IO bonuses but you still have 41+ Kb res and no need to spend countless millions on 9 PvP IO's.
5. Put 6th slot from blast to Acro.

my relatively odd concoction. i added earthquake over veng just to try out something. quicksand though, might have been the better choice, but the build gets overly tight then.
the main issue on my earth/ea dom is actually hitting stuff. i've been a bit more careful with my acc here, but it's still a very very tight build. while i liked con's, i think the hp was a bit low on it.

It's pretty much what I did with my earth/ea.
Only problem with that is I'm really sacrificing damage slotting in my blasts, which will be my primary form of damage since Fossilize and Stone Prison mess with my KB.
EDIT: Just tossed Donna's build into Mids and I kind of like that one. Just can't imagine not slotting Acro for endredux so I swapped one of the KB IOs in there for an end IO. Wondering if, for all intents and purposes, 40.5 points of KB protection is the same as 41 in DR-land.

Not really, only thing you'll really be loosing is some recharge and s few pvp bonuses if you slot it like this:

my relatively odd concoction. i added earthquake over veng just to try out something. quicksand though, might have been the better choice, but the build gets overly tight then. the main issue on my earth/ea dom is actually hitting stuff. i've been a bit more careful with my acc here, but it's still a very very tight build. while i liked con's, i think the hp was a bit low on it. |
I tried the debuff patch but got rid of it seeing that the only people dumb enough to stand in it were easily killed without it. I figured water spout would be good enough. As far as the hold issue, I don't really have one. Anyone with half a brain can work around that rather easily.
