no but the regen/recovery wasto me..like i said..its just an + end power not needed if i have a 3.86 recov AND cp...i dont need it as a taunt tool since i have taunt.
Going through a build where i take out phsyical perfection and cp and put in powersink and l.r i see nothing to warrant picking it up i would only gain 1 % defense and 28% recharge but would LOSE .68 recov and 102 regen
so id go from 3.86 to 3.16 and 489 to 387...thats alot more to lose then just getting a + end power.
to me id rather go with a higher recovery so i dont need it at all...not to mention having cp with a defualt slot for whatever reason.
thats why im asking "WHY" is it so much the needed power some say it us..i really havent seen an answer yet besides "you really wanted regen?" -
well physical perfection can be slotted for 2 things..regen AND end mod.
if your planning on going with wp slot it half and half so you get even more killer regen from it and even more recov -
cp is the power i HAD to get to grab physical perfection..it wasnt cause i wanted to pick it. plus i didnt have slots to slot up f.a. so i grabbed cp and kept it one slotted

this thread confuses me...exactly what do you want out of a tank?..to farm /p.l. or just take the abuse from a boat load of npcs??

how does a pbaoe + end - end foe cap you in anything?...is there something im not getting?
as far as im concerned its a consume type power nothing more...is this wrong?
and with grounded im already capped out on energy so theres nothing to improve..are you talking about powersurge?? the tier 9 power??.

i have a 3.76 recovery rate plus i have conserve power.i also have taunt..
i also have 88.15 % s/l resistance and 33& defense

6 man teams with lvl 52's.... again this issue gives me my elec tank AND auto fillers...i cant ask for anything else and that alone makes it the best issue in 2 years imo
my elec tank is LOVING it! -
well they both have a damage aura so their tied on that but fire/fire has f.e. AND b.u.
where as elec doesnt..this most likely make fire/fire still tops of farming tanks
how bout an shield/elec ?
having aao's and buildup plus sheild charge and lightnin rod and then grab fireball...could be good. -
not really gonna be able to do all 3 since you start with 0 defense to begin with.
even if you could..you would sacifrice more then i know im willing to do.
i went /stone melee for my elec tank but im not trying to defense it out as much
if i were i would go this route ..its close but still lacks alittle off the top
youll have 42.4 % defense to melee and a 36% defense to s/l but still wouldnt make it..and thats even if you could afford the over the one billion 3% glad armor.

im all over the elec armor / stone melee myself,WAS gonna go elec/elec but my mind was changed last week.
sheild/elec would so rock but damn i dont wanna have to make another sheild tank.i wolud never play my shield/fire if i did.
either way i got a nice tinted stone mallet crystal and stone fist crystal to go along with the blue elec aura.. -
lvl 30+ theres nothing better in the game then a tank....end of story

I redid it alittle to show you what i did when i first got i.o's for my farm build.
i never went the defense route myself..so this is more for you then what i did
but youll still have over 30% defense and 71 resistance plus youll be at 2.97 recov which in a farm will reallly help you.
i would just show you mine but hes fulll of purples and pvp recipes which have the best of everything for farming literally. but hes way too high to post without someone commneting on epeens or something ridculous

i found slotting 3 acc/dam ho's in hot feet( place an end cost in there you save two slots.) allowed for more goodies else where if you were looking at a few extra slots.you could place them in siphon power or one more acc in ful shift just for giggles..
only thing i would change is alittle more resistance in tough..thats it.other wise with all the purples it looks kinda like my build -
for a farming build your losing out on damage..the reason fire/fire does so well is its damage output .
your also kiling your recharge on every power and you cut out greater fire sword for rotp!?!?
cut rotp...you wont need it just to farm and you can actually pick up greater fire sword which is more needed then a self rez..ya i know it does damage but you shouldnt die to use it
the recharge on melt armor is awlful as well ( as ive heard here on these forums)...something to think about ..
pick up some hami's for build up..the enhace toohit/recharges ..their nice when your needing slots
something i use to do is slot impervium armor into my primary powers to help with recov bonus's..it really helps and you could even save some slots to place in some other powers
i also dont like the route of going defense on a farm build for fire tanks...its simply not needed honestly.you got tough and weave and healing flames will cover your damage
recharge is the key to a good fire tank farm build...faster you kill the faster you wont take damage. yeah i know soft capping is all the rage an all..but on a fire tank nah.
if you wanna keep it this way with your slotting for fireball you wont be using it but once a mob...try to work more recharge into it..its the reason we pick it up..but with only 26% recharge on it itll be real slow..find more slots for it asap -
id like to see new travel powers here...at least give us 2 more for the sake of arguement
not in any hurry for em but why not...stop hating other travel pwoers cause they are on other games..
there are plenty of travels we could have and more options on everything is always nice -
if recluse was that big a pushover he would have been beaten already
trust me..recluse is still a badass -
i dont care about granite changing myself...the only thing is its a big look and deserves to keep a big look.
if you change it hopefullly its stays big..cause isnt that the idea behind the power?
