Let us select from a list of Veteran Rewards instead of waitng for them.

[/ QUOTE ]/signed. For fairness, give existing veterans the ability to "respec" their current rewards as well when/if this happens?
  3. In i12 we got both WM and BA because they operate in a similar manner to each other. Anyone here think Brutes will get both Broad Sword and Katana in i13?

Why it seems plausible - The BA/WM example. The two sets are rather similar, both have their version of a parry move, BS is slow and heavy where Katana is quick and nimble.

Why it seems unlikely - For one thing, forum whining about Brutes getting 4 primary powersets in only 2 rounds of proliferation. Also, Broad Sword is considered likely because of Shields, and it's been stated that Katana will not be useable with Shields.

Me, I just think the new and improved speedy Katana set will be great for Fury, Divine Avalanche great for survival, and the Rularuu Katana looks just plain Brutal. So I'm just being hopeful. But this is just random speculation. Your thoughts?

Winters Gift works with any travel power, including TP.

I doubt there is any direct connection to Universal Enhancements, which are a very long way off.

I must have misread it last night could have sworn it said run/jump/fly but didn't mention TP

    [/ QUOTE ]Range?
  5. So make it optional, I guess. While I do agree the game is way too easy, this particular case seems to be more of a comfort issue than a difficulty issue.
  6. Some sort of visual indicator for whether a power is too far away from your targeted foe to use, or within range.
  7. Definitely a Brute. Solo extremely well, and can DPS or tank in teams if you do get invited every now and then.

The easymode build is SS/WP. Steady, very high damage and the ability to oneshot most things whenever KO blow is up, and an extremely potent secondary.

I myself like Elec/Elec. I can deal awesome amounts of AoE damage, have two AoE knockdown powers, I can play a Sapper, I have unlimited endurance and no particular damage holes (aside from a slight weakness to Negative)... And the coolest Tier 9 attack in any melee set.

Once you have SOs and if your build is at least -somewhat- efficient (and if not, insps easily fix it), you can get your Fury up and just keep on smashing nonstop, steamrolling through any mission faster than you can even notice.

Oh, and soloing EBs is a piece of cake.

you get no fury if you miss

[/ QUOTE ]False. Fury is generated by attack use (whether by or against the Brute), not ToHit rolls.
  9. Where's Statesman's faceguard attached?
  10. I'd just like to present this case as another example of things that are just plain wrong and silly in heroside.

    Don't know the answer, sadly.
  11. None solo redside. Only arc where you can spawn a MI solo redside that I know of is one of Scirocco's missions, which are not flashbackable for some odd reason.

    Question

I'd be tempted because of the higher population levels.
  13. New MoG is an alpha/burst soaker - which is arguably /Regen's main weakness - not a godmode or panic button.

No badge has a set/default number.

    [/ QUOTE ] False.
  15. It'll improve the recharge times of his attacks that take Tohit Debuff sets. Which, uh, should be mostly everything?
  16. Interesting tidbit: Villains need to complete several arcs to unlock the Recluse SF. Would be nifty if for parity's sake you'd need to complete this Arc to unlock Statesman. But that's just my spiteful side talking.

I dunno, it seems that these days people are just suggesting anything that comes into thier heads, regardless of wether it is really wanted/needed.

[/ QUOTE ]Would you prefer people suggesting power customization every day?

    Patrons

Or Lightning Clap. Sadly both of these melee sets use Knockdown as a primary form of mitigation.

The regeneration set has the same issue. Somewhat worse, in fact, since it has less +DEF and +RES to help reduce all that Alpha damage.

[/ QUOTE ]Uh. This is pretty much exactly what MoG is for.
  21. Could the Roman Faceguard be included in this?
  22. Just a little comment from me: It's gonna be tough getting /Elec to be a good tank-y secondary. This is my personal opinion, of course, but it feels better designed for a scrappy playstyle. Might want both Tough and Aid Self here.
  23. Tsk, I said some examples, not copy-paste the exact dance-system they have.

Many end-level WoW bosses tend to have "abnormal" techniques required to fight them, however this is akin to learning how to dance - it might look difficult at first but it ends up embedded in your brain and you do it naturally. Which, yes, runs itno the problem Raven highlighted.

Which is why it'd be cool to also give them some non-predictability. Some non-standard mob behavior (going for the healer) would be great too, if only it didn't overly complicate things to the point of most bosses being unkillable.
  24. Brutes will never stop being the best AT in the game. And they're melee.
  25. MORE HP AND MORE REGEN

No, seriously, take an example or two from WoW bosses. Tank-and-Spank is a boring tactic in any MMORPG for what it suppsed to be a really tough storyline boss character or powerful creature.

The 2nd Romulus fight is a step in the right direction. Not quite a simple tank-and-spank, not quite rocket science.
