Wait you want to give the ENEMIES more attacks that can hit more than one person?!
-
This is actually pretty easy to figure out assuming you're assuming that in the time it takes you to kill one minion, all minions will do 5% of your total life. If we're not counting regen or healing, the most you can take is five. When there are six minions, you lose 30% of your life to kill one. When there are five, you lose 25%, etc. So it's like this:
6 - 30%
5 - 25%
4 - 20%
3 - 15%
2 - 10%
1 - 5%
...So any more than five and you're not going to get them all. Of course as every one else pointed out, this changes completely depending on the actual details. -
Would it be over powered if re-summoning your minions "killed" the extractions? Like if all your pets die all of a sudden, and you Soul Extract them all, but then you summon your zombies, the zombie extractions die.

Quote:The fee is apparently taken after they give you the influence, which is kind of backwards. One of my characters had one billion, 29 influence, and it wouldn't let me get a billion from the market until I e-mailed the extra 29 to myself. Then when I got my money, I was still 50 million short of 2 billion any way!I forget: is the listed fee subtracted from that total already, or do you pay that when you claim? It seems the fee would push it under the cap and make it valid, if only the game could take it before granting the inf...
Also, that was worth a good laugh, just to see that. -
Quote:o_o That's interesting. Now they were supposed to have a new type of command for GM's to be able to delete those market slots. Came with GR, but apparently what they made is broken too, and if they delete some of those locked up slots, they just come back on thier own, rofl.
So one less slot and 2 bill and change in limbo. They claim a proper fix will be coming i19.
I was gonna send a petition next time I logged on, although I'm not really concerned about the influence. I just thought this was funny.
...Although it did ruin my chance at getting a screenshot of "You got 2000000000 influence from the Market House" -
So I listed a stack of 8 respec recipes at 250 million. And then this happened:
Even though I have zero influence, I can't have my money! -
What if my Warshade uses Quasar in a group of minions and they all get flung over the horizon? I wouldn't have any corpses near me to leech endurance off of.

Quote:He said,I don't think that's a pledge for a vendetta against PlayNC so much as resignation that "I can't renew my account, so I can't play until I can solve it." But I could be reading it wrong.Quote:
it seems I will be slowly phased out of the CoH playerbase. -
So you won't open a bank account in your new country because you won't be there very long, but you're never going to play again because you're cut off for that short time?
-
Quote:Obviously the devs don't want people who can solo TFs with out grinding for all the shinies that would make them capable of soloing the AVs.I'll also take this opportunity to insert my standard gripe about TFs being impossible to follow unless you're leading the team, and even then a typical speed run will disregard as much of the structure of the missions as possible in favour of MOAR XP GO GO GO. So I'll also throw in my request for soloable TFs with EBs instead of AVs, for those who might actually care about why they're fighting.
It's another scheme to make us keep playing! How fiendish! -
I'm pretty sure I got hit by Uber Recluse once, on a blaster, and didn't die. Some thing along the lines of 5000 damage.
So I would say there's a code to prevent you from being one-shotted, at least if you're at full health. It's too bad it doesn't apply to attacks that have two damage types though... -
-
Did some one counter "Stalkers are a joke with out hide" by saying "They rock in PvP" even though Hide is the biggest reason they're a threat in PvP?
Also, I'm getting quite sick of ambushes. I haven't had the ridiculous 30 enemy ambushes some of you have had to put up with, but it's like the "add ambush" button was on auto-fire when they were designing Praetoria. -
I agree with this. I don't think I would want a welcoming party. Especially if I was some one who had never seen Paragon City (or the Rogue Isles), it would be like "So this is Paragon, neat. Time to explore!"

Quote:Well Fireball should be auto-hit if I'm running Stealth and Super Speed and use it from a distance. I mean how do you dodge an explosion of fire that you don't see coming? It's not like my aim could be the cause, it's an explosion! From a RP'ers perspective, other powers can have a chance to miss. somebody could avoid that blaster nuke, because the blaster isn't completely invisible, he's at a range, or in a PBAoE's case, he's right there, and they could dodge it. Snipes, again, could also miss, since you're at a farther range, and your accuracy isn't perfect. I explained before that regular melee attacks could be parried, dodged, or blocked if you look at it like that.

Quote:I kind of disagree. Some of the ones I've had made me think, "No, that's not what a vigilante would do, that's what a VILLAIN would do." They kind of go over the gray area, and that's not cool. Now if it was when I was already a vigilante, and was going villain, then I'd want it to be like "Yes, this is villainous completely"The Vigilante missions are some of the hardest missions to bring myself to do. Some of them are extremely cruel. The devs did a great job on them.
...Sadly I can't think of any examples... -
I enjoy the way they scream when they die.
Maybe I just shouldn't have said anything... -
To be honest I would be quite irritated if they made every mission in Peregrine Isle timed. Some of those arcs are quite fun and being timed really ruins the experience.

I always make sure to not spend much time making a character's first costume. That way it ends up kinda crappy and at level 20 I can make a much better one, which gives a stronger impression of the character improving.
No matter what AT and sets I'm playing, I have to rush in as if I'm an unstoppable killing machine. Any other play style is wrong.
Last but not least, if I realize what I'm making is horribly overused and generic and cliche, I make it anyway because what matters is that it's fun to me. SO THERE! -
I actually thought that guy who you talk to right before you click the elevator thing that takes you up to Praetoria (while in the tutorial) had a very Nemesis-like armor.
I think his name is Marchand something. -
Quote:It won't help you with download times, all it does is launch the game. It skips any updates, which means you won't be able to play if you haven't fully updated. What does this command do?
Is it like the Guild Wars command where you can just download everything at one time?
Quote:And so your decision was to use a WORKAROUND on a routine basis.
I don't believe I said this a first time. -

Quote:It really is though. They're the ones who didn't add a "skip" for verifying files.your workaround for crummy hardware isn't the devs responsibility, sorry.
Incorrect. I've verified my files DOZENS of times. Yet, the crashes still occurred. It's only because it doesn't fix any thing that I decided to stop wasting my time with it.
