  1. This is better than any of the other hero patron ideas from the start simply by not being related to a boss.
  2. Why Mu? It has the best aoe with ball lightning, but soul is almost as good and complements defense well, with easier slotting than a build that has to get defense just through set bonuses and pools.
  3. Can elec armor be an effective sapper set? It won't be as fast as a defender, but you don't have to be since you are a scrapper/brute/tank.
  4. It's probably just the praetorian ouro, not the nonexistent storm, though that does raise the question of who would start oro if Nemesis is not Nemesis there. Maybe time travel led to the dimension becoming praetoria in the first place?

    Fitness Power Pool is Inherent

The Fitness power pool is now an inherent power pool available to all new and existing characters starting from Level 1. Players can freely choose between any or all of the Fitness powers for available character power slots. These powers can be slotted and will accept the appropriate Enhancements.
Was this changed from the original announcement or is it just bad wording?

I was spectacularly excited about it and now it's just... well that's nice for new alts...

Finally! How about moving the black helicopters to the opposite, rarely used but cool looking ends of Nerva and Martial, too? They're redundant where they are.

    Alternate Power Animations

Now players can customize the animation for some characters' powers. Shoot a Psychic Blast or even launch a Fire Breath from your character's hands. Hurl an attack from one or both hands. Select the animations and customize how a character fires off its powers at any Tailor.
    I wasn't expecting this by I19!

  6. Anything with leadership but they have leadership as their primary.
  7. If people say that there needs to be more independence in the writing, that INCLUDES universe building. Any argument that you can't rebel because the universe as written doesn't support it is just redundant.
  8. Wow, marketeering debate. I thought the opposition had been quelled long ago.

Thanks. I was wondering but did not want to look it up.

In that case, what about Power Boost instead of Focused Accuracy?

    Good-bye PFF

What about Mace Beam Volley? Mace Mastery is currently the only Controller APP that does not include an AOE attack, and it would almost certainly make more sense than an accuracy boost to an AT that has little need of it.

  12. Wow, I'm simultaneously amused and embarrassed that they did everything but explicitly announce what the big i20 system was, and yet there is only 1 post here referencing it.

If you saw it elsewhere, it might be possible that those mobs are leashing when they shouldn't.
It's definitely not Praetoria. However that brings up that leashing is probably what led to the mob AI going nuts.

You're misunderstanding it. This would be a checkbox at the tailor. It doesn't relate to how you look to yourself or others in any way.

You click it and those costumes set as 'legacy' are unhidden in the tailor lists.

There is no such thing as an option that 100% of the player base will like better than the status quo.
Option 4: checkbox would probably please everybody. And it would let the team make even more costume updates than they might be able to if they had to respect existing themes with option 1.

I'm guessing it will please the devs too, as it may be simpler to implement than a menu reorganization.

I don't mind a 1-2mil profit, as long as its very little work.
An alternative is to simply do straight 10 stacks of recipes.

I did that with some popular recipe types, simply taking advantage of static. However, with markets merged they are more stable so that won't be quite as profitable.

This is NOT a promise of future action, but it's the view I'll express on your behalf.
David, may I suggest a potentially relatively simple (compared to reordering menus) implementation? If rewriting menus is 'Option 3,' this might be an 'Option 4'.

Add a field to the tailor's costume list database.
If this field is not set, the costume is listed by default.
If the field is set to true, the costume is only listed if a 'legacy options' button is clicked.

There would be no increased menu complexity, you could be far more adventurous in what you can update than with option 1 only, the option would be accessed with just a click, and you could add legacy costumes that some people want to have back. It would dramatically improve the ability to deal with this issue long term, at (potentially, standard speculation disclaimer) only the cost of 1 more field that would be set instead of deleting it from the list. Compare that to menu reorders that would have to be redone any time this came up.
  17. There is clearly some weird glitch in the running AI that wasn't there before.

Since GR I've had mobs that ran so far that:

    They completely unaggroed
    Their targeting reticles cancelled
They ran, then came sort of close, then ran again

Sometimes there were mobs that were required objectives, leading to huge map searches only to go back to a place I'd checked before and find that deaggroed mob.

They do it much more often and with greater distance.

But the thing that proved to me it was not WAI was when they did this to my defender with attacks not even slotted, solo, not using debuff anchors. The situation did not fit any of the criteria Castle posted. It was more like the polar opposite.

    Level 2x Storm Elec
    2 lightning blasts (unslotted)
    Ball Lightning (1 recharge/acc/endurance IO)
Hurricane (which did not even hit the mob that ran)
Snow Storm not used, not sure if that mob took Freezing Rain

The spawn was either 1 lt 1 minion or 3 minions, and one of them went into a LONG run mode.

    I hate the AH UI

The autocomplete implementation is truly bizarre in that it's not backspace compatible and it is in an exclusive OR relationship with autosearch. The only way to turn off autosearch is to turn on autocomplete. The only way to turn off autocomplete is to turn on autosearch.

Autosearch is a huge resource hog, and I would like to turn it off, but to do so I have to use the autocomplete that interferes with retyping the name of the enhancement, which you have to do constantly because, as mentioned, the names are inconsistent.

A great example is what happens if you want to search for other levels of an item:

    Put recipe in
    Search for it
Press backspace and start to edit search text
Be stopped because if you attempt to backspace the autocomplete rewrites
Turn off autocomplete, which forces autosearch on
Be inundated by tons of repeated pointless searches as you backspace
Find the recipes at other levels
Not find enhancements due to their names being different
Delete most of it so you only have the set name
Be inundated by hundreds of items
Scroll randomly to find the name of the recipe is 'Rech/End'
Scroll randomly to find the name of the enhancement is 'Endurance/Recharge'
  19. Spines tanks and brutes.

    Illusion doms.

    Ice everything melee.
  20. Make the fear a 100% chance, along with the tohit debuff. That gives them a team role as debuffers while increasing solo capabilities.

Thing is, in both of those examples the low res version is more versatile.

That's why I like that legacy tailor suggestion, which is the best of both options.

Rather good idea, and probably the best option. That would make more extreme costume improvements possible and avoid clutter too.
