  2. So was it made as a group of friends with some pugs or was this meant as a dream team?

    Impressive either way of course.
  3. Played Reign a ton more.. she's sitting on 19 shards, an uncommon and 279 merits.. Still unsure about epics. I just don't use Soul Drain or Dark Consumption. Sine I never solo I don't have end issues. Not sure the defense build is ideal either.

Anyone else able to chime in on what epic they went with for their Fire/Dark and why?

Edit: messed around some more. I think Elec Mastery may be where I want to go.

This gives me Perma Hasten with a cheap purple set, a res toggle, and I get power sink which is kinda like Dark Consumption
  4. Whoa. Now that's skill.

I can dual box but I can't ambimouse.

In the skating world that'd be a poser.

In the world of hollywood a sandhog (per Mad magazine)

I prefer the good old term Hypocrite.

Seems like someone wants to be cool without spending the inf the get there.

Seriously you go on and on saying you can do it. But you won't you're afraid to burn your money. Take #1 anywhere. I CHALLENGE YOU.
  7. people I've run great TFs with: 5 stars.

occasional pugs who aren't bad but not good.. 4 stars.

Everyone else gets no ranking. Although I do add notes to nearly everyone I see standing around the blackmarket/WW just because I want to be able to know people's various toon names.

@Cyvert but.. he doesn't want help I already showed him their event. I don't feel like trying to raise 100b before Jan8th though.

  10. My dad works for Symantec and they took out their employees and significant others to see it so my parents went out last night to see it. Both fell asleep several times I'm told. My mom says she wasn't really sure what was going on most of the time.

Sooo not quite interesting enough to keep them awake...

Maybe that Ill/ is terrible aoe?
Ill//Rad is great for soloing tough single targets not for soloing x8. Therefore NOT AoE heavy.

The newest FoTM? Ill/Cold. Even more single target.

    The best dps scrapper?
    DM/SD Incredibly single target oriented.

I don't like broken procs screwing up my math.

The Absolute Amazement Proc never fires in PvE.

Nope, RagManX is dead serious. As a hardcore marketeer he knows exactly what would happen with price caps. That's exactly why he wants them .

    Thanks though guys!
  20. My very first toon Chaos Commander enjoyed the Peak of Bots/Traps + IOs fun. He's currently got the Poison Trap Proc Bomb which isn't anywhere near as good anymore and some very badly slotted powers...
I'm looking at overhauling him for I19 what with the free 3 powers.

Here's what I've come up with so far with explanation to follow:

    Level 50 Magic Mastermind
    Primary Power Set: Robotics
    Secondary Power Set: Traps
    Power Pool: Speed
    Power Pool: Leadership
    Power Pool: Leaping
    Power Pool: Presence
    Ancillary Pool: Mu Mastery

    Villain Profile:
    Level 1: Battle Drones -- HO:Nucle(A), HO:Nucle(3), HO:Nucle(3), EdctM'r-PetDef(5), SvgnRt-PetResDam(5), S'bndAl-Build%(7)
I'd like the BU Proc in the Drones because it gives more chance to fire off and I figure since they don't have many(any?) debuffs that they were a good place to throw the two uniques.
    Level 1: Web Grenade -- Enf'dOp-Acc/Rchg(A), Enf'dOp-EndRdx/Immob(40), Enf'dOp-Acc/EndRdx(40), Enf'dOp-Immob/Rng(40), Enf'dOp-Acc/Immob/Rchg(43), Enf'dOp-Acc/Immob(43)
SLotted this way for the Melee Defense+ rchg
    Level 2: Caltrops -- Posi-Dam%(A), Ragnrk-Knock%(33), ImpSwft-Dam%(33)
Small Proc fun, ran out of slots.
    Level 4: Triage Beacon -- Dct'dW-Heal/EndRdx(A), Dct'dW-EndRdx/Rchg(7), Dct'dW-Heal/EndRdx/Rchg(11), Dct'dW-Heal(11), Dct'dW-Rchg(21)

Always gotta have the Achilles and the Lady Grey are nice, unsure about the 4th set bonus.
    Level 12: Protector Bots -- HO:Nucle(A), HO:Nucle(13), HO:Perox(13), HO:Enzym(15), HO:Enzym(15), HO:Endo(17)
So many things to slot for!!

    Level 16: Force Field Generator -- LkGmblr-Rchg+(A), LkGmblr-Def(17), LkGmblr-Def/EndRdx(19), Krma-ResKB(19)
Recharge and KB Prot. Maybe LoTG set bonuses aren't that useful to an MM...
    Level 18: Maneuvers -- LkGmblr-Rchg+(A), LkGmblr-Def(21), LkGmblr-Def/EndRdx(23)
    More Recharge
    Level 20: Poison Trap -- UbrkCons-Dam%(A), UbrkCons-EndRdx/Hold(23), UbrkCons-Hold/Rchg(25), UbrkCons-Acc/Hold/Rchg(25), UbrkCons-Acc/Rchg(31), Lock-%Hold(31)
Proc, Recharge set bonus, good values and the chance for a stronger hold. I think I like this set up.
    Level 22: Tactics -- GSFC-ToHit(A), GSFC-ToHit/EndRdx(34), GSFC-ToHit/Rchg/EndRdx(34)
Had the full set in here but had to steal some slots. may try something else.
    Level 24: Combat Jumping -- LkGmblr-Rchg+(A)
    Level 26: Assault Bot -- BldM'dt-Acc/Dmg(A), BldM'dt-Dmg/EndRdx(27), BldM'dt-Acc/EndRdx(27), BldM'dt-Acc/Dmg/EndRdx(29), BldM'dt-Acc(29), BldM'dt-Dmg(31)
    Defense Set Bonuses
    Level 28: Seeker Drones -- Amaze-Stun(A), Amaze-Stun/Rchg(36), Amaze-Acc/Stun/Rchg(37), Amaze-Acc/Rchg(37), Amaze-EndRdx/Stun(37)
Recharge Set Bonuses. Would use the proc except it is broken.
    Level 30: Provoke -- Zinger-Taunt/Rng(A), Zinger-Taunt/Rchg(39), Zinger-Acc/Rchg(39), Zinger-Taunt/Rchg/Rng(39)
    Nice Recharge Set bonus.
    Level 32: Upgrade Robot -- EndRdx-I(A)
    Level 35: Trip Mine -- Sciroc-Dmg/Rchg(A), Sciroc-Acc/Dmg/EndRdx(46), M'Strk-Acc/Dmg/EndRdx(48), M'Strk-Dmg/Rchg(48)
    Frankenslotted, ran out of slots.
    Level 38: Vengeance -- LkGmblr-Rchg+(A)
    Level 41: Charged Armor -- S'fstPrt-ResDam/Def+(A), Aegis-ResDam(42), Aegis-ResDam/EndRdx(42), Aegis-ResDam/EndRdx/Rchg(42)
Bit of AoE Def with my resistance
    Level 44: Electrifying Fences -- GravAnch-Immob/Rchg(A), GravAnch-Acc/Immob/Rchg(45), GravAnch-Acc/Rchg(45), GravAnch-Immob/EndRdx(45), GravAnch-Hold%(46)
Love the Grav Anchor set here.
    Level 47: Assault -- EndRdx-I(A)
    Level 49: Electric Shackles -- BasGaze-Acc/EndRdx/Rchg/Hold(A), BasGaze-Acc/Hold(50), BasGaze-Rchg/Hold(50), BasGaze-EndRdx/Rchg/Hold(50)
Figure a hold would be nice for TFs BasGaze has nice recharge set bonuses.

    |-------------------------------------------------------------------|
So I'm not sure which Alpha boost I'll want as is I'm running Cardiac because I've got lots of toggles but that can/will change.

Issues I have with this prospective build:
    • Not soft capped
    • not perma hasten
    • Trip Mine seems under slotted
So I'm looking for some advice then I guess.

The Powers are basically set in stone but I could be persuaded otherwise on the epic I guess. I may end up deciding tankerminding is too much effort and dropping provoke for.. something else.

Thanks for taking a look, I anxiously await any improvements.
For reference here's the mess I'm currently using:

Moreover, if the devs aren't prepared to handle AE exploits as they arise, they should consider revamping the reward structure for AE missions to prevent such exploits from borking the economy. Assuming the devs still care about the integrity of the game, that is.
Monkeys were discovered after marketing decreed absolutely no patches until i19.

Anyway, I dont really think the market is that ****** up, and if it is it's not the devs fault. To me is the more expensive stuff is more i can sell it for. But at the same time to more i can sell stuff for the more i would have to buy it for as well, but i dont know thats just my way of justifiying me making all teh infs get i guess.

Also, whats this Crazy 88s thing?

  23. I'd support purple seeding for 500m a pop. (Crafted)

Its easy to get past the sonic barrier.
Any level 50 is barely hurt by the sonic barrier's damage
