I'll always remember the very first Halloween event in PI. I was on my fire/fire tank (Catsan) and I ended up teaming with Orphan and Bobby BoMb on the beach. We were surrounded by about 8-10 Eochai and we were unkillable. We constantly tanked the GM's for about 12hrs and we just had a riot.
I also remember doing the samething during the first Winter Lord event as well but had to keep changing zones as AP just got crazily busy.
And suprised no-one has mentioned no aggro cap and non-timed Dreck mish, non-timed Shadowhunter mish and of course dumpster diving.

Seems a bit unfair again on us European players. Victory as always had a strong Euro presence since the game first started and it will mean having to stay up past midnight here in the UK,later in other countries to take part. You've done events before where you have had the event happen twice, one of those times being more European friendly and the other at the times you have announced.
Just be nice to be able to take part at a time which is a bit more sensible for us.

Have to ask this. Is the competition available for all players or will it be limited to only NA players? Friggin hate it when competition's pull that crap.

Named mine Gobshite as it never shuts up.It's like a dog I used to have and that's what my Dad used to shout at it to get it to shut up. As you can guess he was Scottish. Irony is that it's real name was Patch...go figure.

I'd like to be able to sort out enhancements when I'm dead in a mission. The amount of times when leveling up I could actually slot the SO's I have in my tray..grr. Even being able to look at what enhancements I have slotted would be nice to see what I need as well when I'm dead while waiting for my self rez to recycle would be good.

If there's space I'd be up for it. Only +3 toons I have are a tanker and a plant/time. Rest are lvl shifterd so could supply a rad/rad or a dark/dark defender if needed.

I went StJ/Da personally. I found the combo system went well with the defenses I had. The end usage wasn't a problem either suprisingly. I don't run OG in my build or CoF but I mow thru things that quickly it dosn't seem to matter.

Grr you merge the servers and European players can't enter. It's a bit unfair as 5 year's subs is a hell of a prize.

The way I did it on my stone tank was to put TP in the first power tray in the number 0 slot. Then in keymapping I set number 0 to be my middle mouse button. Just found it easier than creatng binds and easier to set targeting reticle.

May take it on my Ma/Sr tank if I can fit it in. It will help it a lot for aggro grabbing as MA only has Dragon Sweep for a AOE attack. Have to check slotting what I have first as from what people in game have said is that it is pointless unless heavily slotted to be used as an attack. But at least it gives an option which is nice.

All night isn't nice I agree. Then again, this is a global game and time zones for other country's should be taken into account. I'm sure most NA players wouldn't like it if the Dev's were based in Europe and they couldn't play the game between 12pm to 9pm.

I play on the NA servers, same Sg as Minotaur actually. I live about 10mins on the bus from the City Center. Can't come to the event itself (sounds like you need the 'puters) but I'd like to meet up with you guys. I'm guessing the pub your on about is The Square Peg so I'd always come along for a bevvie or 2.
I kind of know all the pubs in the city centre for some weird reason,probably because trying to find food for a coeliac is a pain. also the place in Digbeth maybe finished next year and also the USA team are training and staying here in Brum during the Olympics so could be interesting.

My personal take on the "paying" for new powersets is this. As a "VIP" customer maybe they should be allowed early access to them, similar as to what happened with dual pistols and demon summoning prior to GR? The examples given about "buying" powersets in relation to CoV and GR is moot. You were not just buying powersets, you were effectively buying a whole new game to add on to what you had that included new powersets for AT's or new AT's in CoV's case. Maybe even a discount on the cost of the new powersets could be implemented. That would also give another incentive for free/premium players to become VIP players as there would be a discount on powersets if they were VIP.
Just a thought.

Well if I'm reading Mids right (no idea if I am). It says regen 767%, max hp at cap (from 171.4%) and 102.8 hp per sec.

What lvl of HP/Regen are you talking about for a WP tank? Mines pretty well tooled up if needed, but probably better if you contact me in game so you can check it for the specs you want.
