  1. My two favorite momments on the game are related to LRSF, when LRSF was the hardest thing on the game and almost no one could beat it.
    We agreed to form a All Stalker team in order to demonstrate that the AT was not a gimpie one. So we gather on the Test Server 8 of us (my first 50 ever Eric Raven MA/Ninj) and started to grab nukes from Warburg. Between all the missions and with severals team wiped out, it takes us about 4-5 hs to complete. I think we went back to Warburg like 2 or 3 times in order to be able to complete. Once was done it was epic for all of us. I can say it was the best team i'd been part of, a true example of never surrender.

    The second best moment was the first time we defeat LRSF with a 4 man team, when was a TF 8 man perfect teams only (Stone Brute and Corruptors). We went with no FOTM's toons as a rule: one mind/enrg dom, me as elec/energ brute, one rad/rad corr, and one thug/thermal MM. Was a flawless and great TF thanks to the dom (the first one who discovered the sleeping tactic).

    Of course as a great memory of this game still have on my mind the first time i hit 50 with my stalker, the first time i defeated Frostfire on the Hollows, the first time i was killed in Bloody Bay by a stalker (i didnt knew about COV by that moment and was shocking to see that character), the first time i entered to Grandville... well a lot of great moments and memories.

    I'll miss this game... was a great experience being part of something fun and team up with nice people on this long run.

    I agree on this suggestion 100%. It's sad that Ice with all the cool animations and a potential good PvP inherent, is still on the bottom of the glass. After 10 issues wouldn't be time to look at it???
  3. My TW/EA Brute is a AoE killer... fun and very aggressive. TW is a nice powerset with good damage and enough tools to stand alone against mobs or bosses/AV/EB.

    Re-draw animation is long on some attacks with the exchange to have massive damage and knock down in return.

    The only thing i could address is the sound fx for the power set. On my opinion the sound doesn't feel like smashing and cutting things in the game.

    Business wise: if the player base majority is PvE related, fine work with them give them more TF's more arcs, more zones, new powers etc. But, where are PVP player base on the business priority?     I want to think that dev team is too busy working on GR and they don't have time to look PVP now, but they are aware about their mistake. Also agree that to do a walk power is a easy thing, more than repair all the PvP environment.
    I guess we'll see after GR is out where PVP is at not only from a business standpoint, also as an important part of the game that had potential to bring more players to the game. Would be nice to see comeback all those PvP Sg and see again all the Arena tournaments around.

    I support Divine statement.
    With 1000 problems PVE and PVP related.... who cares about a walk power??? How useful is that?

    The message here: whenever a company have a team meeting to define priorities is the walk power on the top of it?
    There is not more bugs or things to fix, more urgent and important than this?

    There is a thousand of threads about how bad thing are for Pvp. We can complain about it forever, maybe PM all the devs and also quit the game...but still walk power is the winner.
    Thats the message and feedback from the devs.

    Pvp is sitll fun, but broken on so many things...but now we would have the choice to use walk power to run into base if we are suppressed using any power. Great thing.

    I been saving some inf on the Red Side. Im near to have 1 bill and still got some Lvl 50 villians w/o any enhancements or IO's. I was thinking to build one of these toons for Zone PVP in RV.
    Here is what i got for my next Pvp toon:

    Fire/Thorn Dom
    Ice/Energ Dom
    EM/Ninj Stalker
    Elec/Fire Brute
    Mind/Psy Dom
    Fortunata/NW SoA

    Wich one i should put my money on?
    Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks!

    Hello!.. You are talking about my Corruptor, so i will answer your post. First at all my toon wasn't made for pvp soloing. I can't kill even a defender by myself. The gold power for arch is Stun no questions. TA followed with stciky and inmob leaves anyone helpless.

    About me being a farming target... no im not. Im one of the biggest threats for many heros, no for being skilled or not, because im playing 2 powersets that no ones want to play on a PvP enviroment. I learn to take advantages from both. Instead farming... i would say main target no questions.

    Im not too sure about the drop fix. Some of my toons doing TF's showed a fixed drop rate. Other running through regular missions, didn't showed up a drop rate improvement. I'll check today to confirm this issue.
    Anyway i add to the OP on the "thanks devs" stuff.
  9. My Fire/Thorns was one of the first farmers on Freedom, after IO system was released. By that time he was awesome, he burned and destroyed through TV farms like no one of my toons. The combo it's really strong and a solid PVE AT.
    I would definitely go permadom , Hotfeet and grab a end recovery PPP. Also to fit aid-self would be a good idea if you can.
    Sadly my dom is empty and i keep it hoping to build him up again. I got just a good recall from this toon.

    Power diversification - excellent!
    Color costumization - wonderful!
    Finally felt my /ela brute without any build gap. Thumbs up for energize!
    My new /earth dom promise a lot of fun.

    Here my "rant":

    Recipe drops is AWFUL. I run 4 complete mish with 2 of my brutes, solo spawn x 8 and the recipe reward was just 5 regular IOs. Not even a rare or uncommon. This would bring more imbalance to the market due lack of recipes and over pricing more than what we already had.

    Please someone needs to review this issue

    I was messing with Mid's and i decided to go for a build with a different approach for my dom: soft-cap defense.

    This build is soft cap whenever PB is active. I dropped stamina pool and grabbed hasten, sadly i can fit one or other. I cover the end hole grabbing power sink from PPP.

    Let me know what you think and feel free to suggest anything.

  14. OMG no way to have everyone happy. This thread needs to go to the trash on your desktop. Doms+buff are now funny, team friendly and not perma-necessary.

    Oh... stop... are you mad because you burned a respec to accommodate IO's/Powers for the buff??? I know, your ubber fire/psy not good for farming anymore uh??? SO????? Part of the game, live with it.

    The goal for the change was to integrate a forgotten AT to team-friendly. And guess what....it's working. You don't see "DOM wanted for AE" "TF looking for DOM"...

    Be more grateful... we spent 1 1/2 year begging for a change and now we have it.

    Cut off the rant-nerf threads and re-learn to play with your toon.

  15. I was playing normal with my stalker and suddenly got mapserved. Whenever i tried to login again with the same character, a small window pops up saying: The character is currently login out of the game. Try later" I tried over and over and always got the same result. Support was contacted and they said this is a known issue and still got no date when is going to be resolved.
    Worst part of everything is im stuck on CoX now due this problem: all my influence and resources are on that character.
    If anyone got the same problem please feel free to post it.

    Tough decision

    I got 2 COV accounts and sadly i'm forced to give up one. The hard part is to chose which one to keep cause i got a Mind/Ice and a Mind/Psy on the first account and i got a Ice/Enrg and a Fire/Thorn in the second one. All the Doms are Lvl 50 btw.
    Which one i should keep? HELP!!!!!!
