The tiny terrible tormentuous toys seemed to have little in the way of tactics, when knocked down they would pause to right themselves before launching them seleves back at the heroes, razor claws extended. A few switched tactics scaling the shelves to launch them selves in arching kicks sweeping with their vicious gleaming claws, a pulse swept outwards from grenade causing the bears to collapse twitching to the floor, around the room the police officers quickly became unstunned, disabling the twitching bears with shot from side arms.

“**** me” Daryl half whispered, in all the fight had taken moments, but first blood had gone to the bears “If they hadn't of brought emp...” he shuddered at the implications

“Some one find where those ******* bears came from, we need some first aid here!” he bellowed orders to his team

Approaching the heroes his manner was softer

“You okay?” he asked the bloodied heroes.









6 hours later.....

Arrest Notification: Martie Farley Age:57 Occupation: Night Foreman 'Happy Fun Time' Company

Upon arriving at suspect Farley's house hold, noted unusual smell of cinnamon emanating from living room. Upon approach suspect Farley became increasingly agitated before attacking arresting officers. Farley had talked, he'd been paid a fat sum to swap a couple of cargoes of toy bears for ones from this factory. Taking a quick look at the place, the police had once again sent out a request for aid across the police band.

“Okay what we are dealing with here is a reasonably well armed street gang, were not expecting anything of military grade response.”

“However we are dealing with some sort of twisted genius, so we have no idea what forms of none standard armaments you'll be facing in there” the body armoured SWAT commander told the assembled forces.


Scene Two 'Merry Go' toy factory

The run down factory had once been home to a flourishing toy manufacturing company, but then had come the first Rikti War and the financial difficulties shortly afterwards. For years it had stood silent and slowly began to fall apart, now the machines hummed once more as Uzi armed street thugs stalked the grounds behind the sheet metal fence that blocked off the factory from the streets, here and there newly installed security systems monitored the roofs and grounds, turning this way and that with a slow whirr of electric motors.

Faintly the aroma of cinnamon and blue berry wafted on the breeze....

Sigh after they release weapon customisation, shields and all the other weapon loving, now they release 'Paladin' armor and rename it Valkyrie.

Since the game changed hands it seems the devs have been doing everything possible to follow in WoW and Warhammers footsteps, weapons, shields, magic pack, this and pvp revamp.

Im really tired of it when can we have some stuff like sheaths and holsters that we been asking for, for god knows how long? What about some good old sets like we used to have before weapon customisation was out? how about some mutant parts? more hairstyles?

At least the cyborg pack was different, now we got two upcoming WoW armor clones :/

Theres plenty of hero and villain type things that could be done. Theres no need to go making cheap knockoffs of other games armor this is the reason why ive left other games before.

It's not much of a warning a muted digital whispering from the blood stained bears but it might be just enough, as in their hand the bears stir, limbs lengthening and a dull red light flickering in their button black eyes.

”protocol: silens nox noctis” the bears seem to mutter.

With the sound of oiled metal sliding against each other the bears unleash massive blades, much bigger than should fit in their fluffy little bodies, more leap from the shelves seemingly disturbed by the assembled heroes, they pounce like so many angry cats, whipping their bladed fists and feet like a mob of chubby little capoeira masters.

VEATs have back packs, why can they not work like that? Add them as an option like wings/capes. Having a back pack would exclude the other back options etc

Central to the room is a large animatronic display, polar bears Santa's elves and the like, sticky with blood. Most of the shops floor is coated in in the blood spray. Shelves filled with toy's take up the rest of the room, the closest one to the blood spray in the southwest is covered with sodden teddy bears and other such cuddly toy's left sticky and macabre by the splashed blood.

“You're from gift and the MHC, take a look at this and tell us what you think” he passes them copies of the reports, and gets one of the CSI guys to replay the video for them

“We've not been able to find a trace of the killer, figure he, she or it teleported out”

I hightlighted the bit I assume you are referring to. First of all, Positron is a Developer, not in marketing. I dare say we can bandy words, but 'devoted to' in programmer-speak generally means there are no other major features. There will be other features, as there were in I4 and I6, but they will not be major ones and you will not be happy with them. Positron seems to be quite good at verbally shooting himself in the foot like this. (A lot of programmers are, I know I am.)

We know that the original plan was to have the MA in I13 and it was split out into I14. We currently have a schedule for I14 which says Q1. We have not been given any form of schedule for I15 that I am aware of, no clue of what is in it, and no idea how developed it is. However, we know it was called I14 until the MA had to be broken out of I13.

I'll give you the following somewhat educated opinion. I15 has been under development for 3-6 months. If I13/14 (really one big release forced into two by player pressure to release content this year) does not get a good enough reaction, they are highly likely to be able to wheel I15 out in reasonably short order since I'd expect it to be functionally complete by the time I14 goes live.

“The store owner locked up for the night, then with six of the staff members they reset the clock to test the store animatronic display, the camera goes out and we're left with corpses. The cleaners turned the display off before they discovered the crime scene.”

“We've checked everywhere some one could hide, cupboards, storage closets even the crawl spaces and cable spacing. Nothing.”

“The MHCTF should be sending some one over, hopefully they'll bring teleport tracers and things for detecting if stuff messing with space, hidden pockets and all that. Unless one of you guy's got something on you?” Daryl asked hopefully

At the tape line

Noting the badges the officer on guard looked a little relived.

“Finally the MHC, we've got a weird case for you seven people cut to shreds in ten seconds, no sign of entry or exit. Were thinking either teleportation or some sort of phase shift” she said raising the tape politely to let them through.

Twilighter could conceivably play around with some ones genetics to boost powers, with the assistance of the lab bunnies and permission from Leandrea. Why would she? Well curiosity mostly.

Baron Eternity could genetically alter, chemically alter, cyberneticly alter and oh yeah use magic to do so. Of course his reasons to do so would be long term investment in a plan that is probably in some way aimed at Varrick
