Future plottage: Characters who can boost power

I'm asking the general RP populace if they have or know of any characters (PC or NPC) who are able to boost the abilities of another.

The powers do not necessarily have to be existant IG or indeed be used exclusively for good. Heck they could even be in the employ of Crey or another similar entity.

I just want to know for a rough outline of something I intend to plot at a later date.

Thoughts, suggestions and questions are welcome.

[/ QUOTE ]I have two that could, depending on what you're after and viability.

"Ghostworld" Tyger - NPC version of Tyger that exaggerates the Ghostworld mission. He could change powers depending on his mood and at will.

William Benedict - Owner of the Benedict Trust; like Creycorp with better PR (so similar entity). Could do scientific or technological changes.

Either of the two could make permanent changes but William's would be reversable as a precautionary measure while Ty's would be whether he felt like it.

Tyger (50), Mutation-Controller Mind/FF - oldest Mind/FF on Union

Technically...

Jason or Crow could enhance or modify someone's power(s) given sufficient reason. They're both magicians, they can both do rituals which can, theoretically, have any effect which is required, including power boosts, though probably temporary ones unless the person concerned is willing sacrifice something else to gain the power.

Bodyshop is all about enhancing the physical characteristics of people! She can also speed up metabolisms, turn back aging and... basically she can shapeshift other people given enough time into nearly any humanoid like shape, cure most diseases and even bring back the nearly dead. It's an alternative take on the Rad powerset. She usually asks for favours rather than money these days, as she's got plenty of the latter.

Toxic Widow my Mastermind has toxins that can turn people into vectors for her putrid diseases and ailments giving them the temporary ability to poison others with a touch. She can also deaden thier senses or heighten them for short periods of time. Just me working around how the Leadership and the Posion Set buffs work.

Schroedinger can give people incredible luck, by altering probability although it relies on the perceptions of others. The power doesn't work in a One on One, but is fantastic when no one is looking or a lot of people at once! It's a bit confusing to explain and intentionally so.

Twilighter could conceivably play around with some ones genetics to boost powers, with the assistance of the lab bunnies and permission from Leandrea. Why would she? Well curiosity mostly.

Baron Eternity could genetically alter, chemically alter, cyberneticly alter and oh yeah use magic to do so. Of course his reasons to do so would be long term investment in a plan that is probably in some way aimed at Varrick

Brawling Cactus from a distant planet.

In theory a couple of the SR clones could help Twili, but they're not so good on thier own.

Also as a note theres Penny Preston

Who's already in game, and might be handy if it was a Mutant you had in mind!

Longstaff WarTech offers augmentation in various forms, including nanotech and cybernetics, under strict conditions (which means villains are pretty much SOL there thanks to their highly extensive procedures for checking potential customers out! o_O)

Constructed Curse could offer similar to villains, what with being a former employee of Longstaff and all. However, any augmentations from her won't exactly be of the same quality.

Both of them would depend on the type of powers that need boosting though. Neither of them are gonna be of much help to a magic character for example.

Sam: "My mind is a swirling miasma of scintillating thoughts and turgid ideas."
Max: "Me too."
