  2. I would like this. Not because of the praetorians part but because I have a lot of toons that are the sons/daughters of the hero and they use the same name. So right now I have Broken Prey, Broken Prey Jr, and Broken Prey III and etc... It would be nice to have them all name Broken Prey. It's not a big deal but it would be nice.

Really, I'm betting the devs are thinking 'It's a lot of work and requires extensive revamping'. Because there are many sets that work better in melee but this AT would lose much of that advantage. I doubt it's because it's too powerful. In PvE, it just isn't. In PvP, it's probably about as good as combining extreme stealth and extreme ST damage...just slower.
I'm curious too, because I think it would be a lot of fun to play. I have wanted this AT for a while but they never say anything about it, and it comes up a lot.

I know I should be aiming for the softcap to positional but is there anything I should know beside that?
Not really, just make sure you take a slot your powers.

    Quote:
Is there a way to buff the defense debuff resistance?
Yes just take and slot your powers. It is that easy to have 95% defense debuff resistance with /SR.

    Quote:
also, is Elude really needed on a softcaped build?
No, you're better off taking CP over Elude. Elude just as a crash and doesn't help you much at all with a softcapped build.
  5. High Pain Tolerance- 3 heal Enhancements first because that will help your hit points and help you live better than the 3 resist Damage, but if you have slots later you can put them in.

Mind Over Body- One Endurance Reduction and 2 to 3 Resist Damage

Fast Healing- right now I would only slot 1 heal enhancements but you can go up to 3.

Indomitable Will-One Endurance Reduction is really all I put in it, you can also but in up to 3 Defense enhancements.

Also a power you should take as soon as you can with Willpower is Rise to the Challenge it is one of the best powers for Willpower and you will want to take it as soon as you can.

  7. As other have said not much, but I would also look in to the Kismet +Accuracy too.

What would corrupter damage/scrapper defenses actually contribute to a team to seperate it from one of the existing ranged ATs?
It gives you a ranged AT that doesn't need any help from other player because it can live on it own. So if the tank/brute/etc.. dies then it might not be a team wipe because they can live a lot easier than the other ranges AT. But yes they really don't contribute more than anyother AT.

But if people don't want to team with me because of my AT and/or Power sets then that is some people I don't want to team with.

How? a regen will have Dull pain which will put them at the max hit points, seeing that they both don't have good resis number that would put the regen in a better place, regen also have a heal too. Also I would assume on a MoSTF run they would have a Tank so the AV really shouldn't be attacking the Scrapper that much if at all depending on how good the Tank is.

  13. Well just looking at it really quick, I would slot Follow up better. In your build you have ok damage and good accuracy, but I would want it to come up more so put some recharge in it. It is a great buff and for me what makes claws so good.

Beside that it is a ok build, it is better to go for S/L defense than melee because that want Inv gives. You can also go for E/N/F/C too but it dose take a lot to get it to the soft cap.
  14. I would say DM/SR. /SR is great and had a heal it just makes it that much better.

As Nihilii said with unlimited inf it would be DM/Shield but that would be at the end of the game not while lvling up.

And the 300dps was alleged by Werner, but by his own admission his calculations were more of an estimate since he wasn't really able pinpoint when Shadowhunter used Dull Pain.

Am I wrong about this? Is there a confirmed 300dps performance that I don't know about?

Not that I know of, Shred's is alleged 300dps but again we can't say for sure becuse of Dull Pain. In the Plyon thread the top is 289DPS. I did 296DPS with my DM/SD against Romulus. That is the highest that I know of.

Rularuu Wisp Overlords, Vanguard Swords, and several of the Arachnos can also rack up enough stun's / disorients to put a Willpower out of commission... but for anybody whose faced these enemies, there's a longer list of debuffs to worry about... like -defense, -resistance, -to-hit, slow, sleep, and that bloody detention field.

Outside of Moonfire though, you pretty much have to be drawing some serious aggro, or be running with +3 / +4 levels to draw enough stun / disorient for it to be an issue above and beyond other Critter Debuffs.
and Green Ink Men too, a group of them can stun anyone.

I don't think it turns off with KB, KU or KD, I know it does turn off with a hold however it dosn't matter your /willpower and if you getting KB,KU, or KD you're doing something wrong.

  20. Well here is my build That I use to farm(I don't really farm I just like to kill big groups fast) It doesn't have Body Mastery, but as Blaze Mastery. So I have Fire ball The recovery is not as good but nothing one or two blues won't fix. It as soft capped def to M/R/AoE. and it has the same amount of recharge as your build has. It's not the best build and there are somethings I don't like about it but overall I'm happy with it. I hope this helps some.
