That's one of the reason I won't get a villain up past the low thirties - I went once to St. Martial, my MM ended up chased by 3 Arachnobots and a couple of Bane Soldiers. Not fun...
That's also the reason I can't play WoW - critters big as horses, or so I was told.
<sigh> I thought I was golden when I started playing CoH, a mere 5 months before Issue 6...

And my office is in my basement, so I do get to squish the little bastards from time to time.
My weapon of choice: a tissue box. You grab it by the opening, and BLAM you smack the flat bottom down hard upon them.
Which means that I frequently have bent-out-of-shape tissue boxes at home...

I'll refrain from mentioning some of my personal stories of finding critters in my house...
About the weirdest was finding an opossum in my garbage (I drove it out of the house twice... I had to put it down two nights later because it refused to stop coming in )
Other weird moments, though, I'll refrain from (one story would make you shudder, the other would probably provoke an extreme reaction). Suffice it to say, I don't have arachnophobia. But if you're going to be killing them left and right (which I recommend against, they kill a lot of other pests of which you should prefer the demise), you should use something a little more durable than the tissue box. Fly swatters and old shoes would last you so much longer...
Just be careful with the old shoes... That nice dark cave sure is inviting...
