Quote:My Fire/SD Scrapper as solo AV/Pylon without hasten and no purples, it's not hard to do with a Fire/SDI don't think I've seen anyone take down an AV/Pylon without hasten..... err besides my fire/sr brute(that has no purples)*Cough* Back to topic.
GL kbaiMy new build for my Fire/SR has solo AVs and a Plyon without Hasten and no purples. My MA/SD has solo AVs and Plyon without Hasten and has no purples, but I did use green insp. And not my toon but my brother has solo AVs with his Kat/Fire without hasten too but he does have some purples in his build.
As Werner said Hasten isn't needed but it does make it faster. -
I don't know which one I spend the most inf on. It is between my DM/SD or my Kat/SR.
My DM/SD was about 2 bill when I first made him He has the +3 PvP IO but I got that for only 200 mil and it was lvl 10but then the BotZ was nerf so I had to respec and sell some stuff and spend another bill. So I guess that is around 3 bill total.
Now my Kat/SR was my last project and I wanted perma Hasten so I need purples in her I also put in the PvP -res proc so I don't know what my total was but it was around 3 bill, might even be more. -
Quote:No a scrapper does not need softcap defense, it only makes them betterNow this brings up a question for me: Is it absolutely necessary for a scrapper to softcap defense? And if the scrapper doesn't, does that make them less? Thoughts?
You can play most of the game with 30% defense and be just fine. Are you less of a scrapper if you don't have it not really you might not be able to solo AVs without softcap defense. You might not be able to solo at +4/8 but, on a team you can still kills things just like any other scarpper can.

That statement is not true too. Ninjitsu has fear protection too, now only stalkers have it but it is still a melee AT armor set.

OMG!!!!! -
That can be an issue. Also you can get a lot of mission in the bad caves too, which I just stealth, and that can slow you down a lot too.

I like to run the RWZ mission, from Borea, over and over again. It is not the best farm, I don't really think of it as a farm, It is just a lot of fun for me.

Quote:Gambler's cut is the better attack at all levels. It is a better DPS attack than Sting of the Wasp and it as a faster cast times so you can get to your better attacks faster. Both gambler's cut and sting of the wasp are ok. At low levels, gambler's cut is more convenient because it recharges faster, so it is good as a filler as you said. At higher levels, you should have taken enough melee attacks that the need for a filler is diminished. So, sting of the wasp is a better choice later on as it hits slightly harder. Actually, you might as well use divine avalanche as a filler.

The best is 5 Hecatomb, all but the Dam/Rech and the Archilles proc. Putting the 6th Hecatomb would just be a waste and you will get more out of the Archilles proc than the Dam/Rech.
