No temps no insps? Smashing/lethal AVs, probably, though it might take a few tries. While you have plenty of damage mitigation for them, you lack in damage recovery, relying only on a passable regeneration rate and an occasional Dull Pain. I could be wrong, but I suspect they'll just wear you down since it'll be a long fight. Anything else seems unlikely without inspirations since you don't have particularly good damage mitigation to other types of damage, or at least not AV-soloing damage mitigation. So they'd just be pounding on you, and with no fast way to recover damage except for a single Dull Pain, you won't last long enough to make much of a dent.
If you could add Aid Self without any build compromises, that would trivialize soloing smashing/lethal AVs, but might still not make other damage types soloable.
So I think I'd be trying to get my other damage type defenses up closer to the soft cap, close enough that you could herd some minions to make up the difference. And I'd be willing to sacrifice some smashing/lethal defense, again just enough that you could herd some minions to soft cap. And then I'd want either Aid Self or HUGE levels of regeneration. And of course it would also be nice to have enough global recharge to make Dull Pain permanent, since that gives you a big buffer against the big hits, plus significantly increases your regeneration, plus gives you a big heal more often. Pulling all that off may not even be possible. But that's what I'd work on.
One possible reference is this recent thread on soft capping Invulnerability. But my advice again would be to shoot for the soft cap only when surrounded by a handful of minions, so that you can focus on other aspects of the build as well.

Okay yea you have defense, resistance.....
Those are good to have, but are nothing without regen. You'll still get hit, and when you do won't hurt much cuz of your res, but I doubt that keeps you alive very long. You need more dmg/recharge I beleive if you plan on getting enough DPS out of MA you will have to resort to some Rare Hancies(Yes the expensive purple ones ^^)!! Untoppable is a great power but ya know, if your haveing an hour fight with an AV, that 3 minute power will only shorten your chances of taken the big baddie down. You need hasten. I don't think I've seen anyone take down an AV/Pylon without hasten..... err besides my fire/sr brute(that has no purples)*Cough* Back to topic.
MA needs recharge. Dmg Bonuses are encouraged. Moar Regen/HP!

Neither Werner (Katana/Regen) nor Alexei (Katana/Dark) has Hasten. The DPS requirements for AV soloing are NOT that high, as long as you can survive their damage for a very long fight. Extreme DPS helps survivability in that it makes the fight much shorter, and their chance of getting off a few lucky hits in a row much smaller. But it isn't a requirement to solo either AVs or Pylons if you have extreme survivability.
However, Hasten and other recharge IS a general part of Invulnerability survivability, as you need it to get perma Dull Pain, which is a good thing. Not an absolutely required thing, but a good thing.

I actually don't think it can. Not so much on survivability side but rather on the damage department. You really want those attacks slotted up then try to figure out a good ST attack chain.
Hasten or aid self would help but it could be done without it. My BS/Inv does OK without them.
Well, ok, thanks for your responses people ^^ Although I might not be able to solo AV's, I don't really mind that, as long I won't have too hard a time soloing EB's.

Don't give up on the build yet. There are a few things that could be done, like lowering the s/l defense from 48 to 45. Dropping a couple of powers to pick up CP and PP to get endurance under control. Let's see if I could mess around with the build and come up with something a bit better.

My new build for my Fire/SR has solo AVs and a Plyon without Hasten and no purples. My MA/SD has solo AVs and Plyon without Hasten and has no purples, but I did use green insp. And not my toon but my brother has solo AVs with his Kat/Fire without hasten too but he does have some purples in his build. As Werner said Hasten isn't needed but it does make it faster.

My DM/SR has no hasten and has solo'd both, not as quick and easy as my Fire/SD (with hasten) but it has done it. Also solo'd both on a Claw/Inv without hasten too, but only S&L AVs

Well to offer my input, ivuln can solo AV's, it is just going to be very hard for you to get it capped. Mind this build is a tanker build (don't have invuln scrapper), but it should give you a general idea on what you should do to get him capped.

The only defense that isn't capped is Psi, and this build is meant to tank AV's (being tanker I don't have raw DPS to actually kill them), but this build can stand toe to toe with AV's (the one exception being Recluse of course). One more thing to note is that Dull Pain in this build should be used as a n oh **** button.

Yeah, sorry for the kinda desperate question, but I would kinda like to know if the following build can solo AV's; but first, a little background ^^
This is my MA/Inv scrapper, and my first blueside lvl 50. I have been working a lot with the character, and have tried lots of concepts and have now decided that I'd like to try to make a strong solo build (not necessarily AV-soloing, unless it's possible). Keep one thing in mind though, I am not a person that thinks about budgets. This build hasn't been made yet, but I am thinking of making it, and thus, I don't know how pricey it will be, although I can imagine it being so. And now, the build:
