Welcome Back.
Another good channel to join is Protector TF. It as a lot of Impromptu TF and does have organized events too. -
I've thought the same thing too. Why so many Arc 20-30? I would love to have more arcs 30-40. At the very least can we get a Red side SF 30-35. I still can't believe they don't have one at that level. I mean its been how many issues?

Quote:I guess it depends on what you fight. If you do a lot of ITFs or fight enemies with -defense then Grant cover is the way to go. If you don't fight enemies that -defense then One with the Shield is the way to go.I was considering grant cover but thought that One with the Shield would be a good boost to survivability in extra tough scenarios. I'm gonna have to rethink that since you say grant cover will help more. I do like that it enables me to have a spot for the kismet bonus.
-
I feel the same way. I love the Vanguard Shield. I first saw it in Beta and made a BS/SD to go with that Shield. Then when it went live and I couldn't get it till level 35 and that is after you get 100 vanguard merits. I never got into the toon because of this and ended up deleting it after about 10 levels.

Just did a quick look at your build. You were way over the soft cap for Ranged. So I took out Thunderstrike. I also put in Stimulant, and Aid Self like you wanted but I would take Grant Cover over One with the Shield. Grant Cover gives you DDR which will help you more than One with the Shield.
Charged Brawl is a better DPS attack than Havoc Punch, so I would take Charged Brawl. Over all I didn't do a lot to the build so here it is .

I have a MA/SD at 50, It was my first Shield at 50. After getting more Shields up to 50 I really haven't play him that much. I had issue with end and had to go with the body mastery pool for Conserve Power and Physical Perfection. I didn't spend a lot of inf on the build I just wanted soft capped defense. This was before the BoTZ nerf, so now I don't have soft capped defense to Range and AoE.
I did have a lot of fun playing him up to 50. He did great damage and Shield charge with DT is a lot of fun. -
I didn't know people still use words for passwords. I always mix numbers with letters and symbols. I also make sure it is at lest 8 characters long. I never had a problem remembering any of my passwords but I also have a great memory.
-
I don't see the big deal with this. I still have to wait 30 seconds to log off and its not like it took me that long to type in my password.
For my I love the nurses in the Hospitals, now when I die I don't have to find a contact to get some more insp if I need them. -
Quote:You know, from what I hear in-game and sometimes on the boards....am I the only one who likes to do Synapse? >.>
I don't like it on ALL my toons mind you, but I enjoy doing it on an AoE centered toon, like my Fire/Fire blaster.
Topic related though, I find going villain, getting Demonic Aura, then switching back to Hero is actually LESS of a bother to me than getting freakin' Eye of the Magus, that sucks to get, but damn it's oh-so-useful.
I love SynapseI love to run it with my fire/nrg blaster.

As other had said you want the Scrapper. I have a level 50 Elec/SD Brute and a Level 50 Elec/SD Scrapper. The Scrapper does a lot more damage and is more fun to play in my opinion. I really haven't played my Brute in some time, and when I got my Scrappers build done the playing time went down a lot. The Scrapper is just that much for fun to play for me.

Quote:Was looking at the patch notes on test and in the next patch that won't work. The lava thing really never worked for me. However, pulling him down the hall out of the LOS of the bifurcations (who always spawn in the room) nullifies their regen. You have to pull him fully out of their LOS, not just into the big room, he has to personally be in the narrower hall.
Quote:Trapdoor can no longer be dragged out of range of his Bifurcations. -
hmm... It looks like they change it in I19 Wiki link.
Quote:This mission was changed with Issue 19 - She must be rescued and brought to the door. -
Quote:MrHassenpheffer give you his macros, butCan I see those macros? I'd like to use them for converting purples.
here is guide about them. -
Quote:I didn't look at the build so I don't know if Siphon Life needs more recharge but I would slot more accuracy in it. Kinetic Combat gives very low accuracy only 22%. To me that is too low so I would slot it with 2 Touch of the Nictus( Accuracy Healing, and Healing) it also gives you a Hit point bonus.Siphon Life is decent for self healing, but the IOs you have in there aren't so hot. The Theft of Essence proc is mostly a waste, as it should fire on average every 5th time you use the power. Touch of the Nictus doesn't add any damage and has relatively low +recharge. If your attack chain has holes in it (as I'm guess it does if you're considering Shadow Punch), I'd rather see Siphon Life with 4 of Kinetic Combat (sans the proc) and 2 Heal/Recharge pieces in it.

Well they didn't do anything to the Swords this Issue, they did that in I16. So they still might change that in a different Issue.
