How about we just report and/or ignore list the creeps?

*summons the Test version of Steelclaw* -
Quote:FCM and I ran into exactly the same thing tonight running tips on two of our 50's... both the button issue and the miscounted tips. He bugged it in-game.It's not just you, and it's not just leveling up. Running tip missions last night with two different level 50's, I had it happen if I completed the tip missions very quickly. Oddly, I also occasionally had the "daily fame" bubble not increase even though the X/10 progress did. Unfortunately, I am not sure if these two pieces of strange behavior hit on the same missions or not.

Numina: 22
Synapse: 33
Citadel: 28
Statesman: DEAD (*dances on grave*)
Back Alley Brawler: 49
Manticore: 36 -1 = 35 (>_<)
Positron: 34 + 1 = 35 (In the interests of super-hero romance...)
Sister Psyche: 38 -
I'll probably spend most of my weekend playing with the half-dozen-or-so lower level characters in my crew. (I'd like to get all of them to 35... Most are in the 25-30 range now.)
But... if I can manage to get those guys to where I want them and still have time left over? Hanano (my Ninja/FF MM) will definitely get some attention, too. For all the cat-herding her boys require sometimes, she's still a heck of a lot of fun to play. -
Numina: 25
Synapse: 32 +1 = 33 (Because I'm fond of the silly goofball. ^_^)
Citadel: 28
Statesman: 5
Back Alley Brawler: 45
Manticore: 33 -1 = 32 (... And not fond of this jerk. <_<)
Positron: 34
Sister Psyche: 37 -
Huh... It is still down. o_0
I'm with Anni on this one. 'Not a good sign, but here's to hope. They've still got half an hour or so to kick the thing back into shape. -

Quote:Good to know you guys had fun.I had a wonderful time with so many people in a Keyes. While it wasn't a PUG Hamidon raid, it was the next best thing. A lot of chaos, a lot of KOs, and a lot of enjoyment was had.
Special thanks to Avatea and Freitag for coming out and joining us for some crazy mischief. We'll have to run it again to completion during the second phase of this event.
I just couldn't face that thing with Kestrel. Keyes and Kes aren't on speaking terms. -
Okay... so if I'm part of a Nemesis Plot... Where's my steam pony!?
I demand a steam pony!
And one of those goofy hats with a spike on top. -
I have a pair of KM stalkers with WP secondaries, and it works pretty well in my experience. You don't get /Nin's toys, and I do find myself missing QR and Rise sometimes (I also have WP scraps and tanks, for comparison-), but it's not a bad set at all.
I'm sure someone will come along shortly and throw the Real Numbers out there for you in comparison to some of the other choices, but just from an informal perspective, it's always felt like a solid option. -
'Still can't believe that I got Suzume and Karasu... or that FCM and I got both Nook and Cranny for our detective duo.
-
Try telling Siege that.
All I know is he instantly went from looking at the tank and brutes to specificly flattening my defender, and the one and only thing I did was shielding the melee people.
I didn't attack him
I wasn't the closest person to him.
He was actively being Taunted.
The only toggles I had up were my area shield and Leadership powers.
He wasn't even facing me prior to casting the shields.
So, you tell me... What did I do to catch aggro? -
Quote:"When The Bough Breaks", maybe? It's from TNG, incidently, and features Riker prominently, but I couldn't say what season.
IIRC there were several pretty cool "toys" in that episode aside from the musical one. I remember a sculptor's tool that worked in a similar fashion. -
I love it. Synapse going out with the proverbial bang most of all...
The bit with Scir and Bella playing Ghost Busters with Numina made me grin, too. I can just imagine Kestrel's reaction to that plan given Im's less than stellar history in the Grand Scheme department.
"I dunno, Boss... You know how unreliable binding circles are." -

Quote:Hmm... Something may be a bit screwy with that.given that heals and buffs aren't coded to generate any agro at all.
BAFing last night, my Sonic defender managed to pull Siege's attention away from two tanks and a couple of brutes just by casting her shields on the melee people. (I was behind him at the time. He actually turned away from FCM's brute and the tank who was taunting him to directly attack Keph. It wasn't one of his AoEs that got her.)
He also seemed to still have that aggro after I hit the hospital and returned. He killed Keph again as soon as I got in range... I didn't even have time to buff or attack... Just *land* - *turn* - SMACK! - *dead again*. -
Quote:Hey, now... Star Dasher (my silvery-metallic brute with a rainbow path aura and the lyrics to a certain Erasure song in his bio-) would say that it was perfectly manly to be sparkly and multi-colored. As long as you do it while beating the snot out of things. Not as manly as this:
http://games.adultswim.com/robot-uni...line-game.html
Of course, Dasher's biased... so YMMV.
(And yes, as soon as I get ahold of that blazing path aura he'll have a second costume to match the Heavy Metal version.) -
Since when is it "all about spandex" out in comic-book land?
I mean, sure, some of the classic hero-types do wear the stuff almost exclusively, but that's not universal. Many of the costume designs that have spandex bits in them *also* include plenty of other, non-spandex bits, too. (See Green Arrow's outfit, for instance, or Thor's-). They're not limited to skin-tight body-suits.
Some characters wouldn't look at all like themselves in a get-up like Superman or the Flash wear, either. Can you imagine, say, Warlord or The Question in something like that? Heck, I'll even throw my own favorite out there... Try to picture Doctor Strange in an all-bodysuits-all-the-time world. (It was bad enough when they tried that with Clea's costume. I'd hate to see it happen to poor Stephen. o_0)
So, yeah. I don't mind the spandex being there. It has its place, it's useful as a base for more complex designs and for people who want to go for the body-suit look... But I really can't look at the comic book characters I like reading about, and then at my own toons, and honestly say "They must dress like X or else!" Ollie needs his hat, Doc needs his ridiculous cape, Thor needs his armor and Question without his trench-coat would just be wrong. My crew need their martial arts outfits, goofy swords and glowy armor.Diversity in designs is good.

Quote:I'm not seeing it, ZM. o_0Let's say that in September you get your 51 month badge and then FREEDOM go Live. The Tokens you receive from the Vet System are:
N/3 + N/12 = 17 + 4 = 21.
Sept thru July is 10 months for 10 Tokens, and let's throw in a Yearly Token for 11.
Being subscribed July through September will not only earn you 1,200 in Paragon Points, you'll also get 3 Tokens. At least, I think you do.
That's 35 Tokens. It only takes 34 Tokens to fill Tier 8. That leaves you 1 Token to spend on one of the Three Tier 9 VIP costume blocks. You can wait two more months to get the other two, or, you can add 2 more months to your subscription, or, you can purchase 2,400 Points and get the 2 Tokens that come with it.
*If* they give me the lump sum for what I've pre-paid when freedom goes live plus all of my vet time, I'll basically have 60 months worth of tokens, plus the 5 extra "yearly" ones when all's said and done.
60/3 + 60/12 = 20 + 5... so 25.
Where are the extra 10 you're adding coming from? There's no way I'll end up with 35 tokens as far as I can see. Unless that's not how they're coming up with what "prepaid" time is worth, token-wise? I don't know.
ETA: Ah. I see what you did... You're counting the post-Freedom paid time under the new system rather than the existing one. That's making a generous assumption (If I were a Paragon Studios bean-counter, I'd do it the way I calculated it since the purchase was made under the "non-freedom" system, but they may not think that way-), and for obvious reasons I hope you're right. XD -
I have my 48 month badge, currently... Depending on exactly when Freedom hits, I'll probably have my 51 by the time it's live. My sub is actually paid up at this point through July 2012, which I think would be a just past my 60 month badge under the current system.

Quote:'Sad thing is, looking at the chart and "counting pips"... even if they do give me my year's worth of tokens up front? I'm still more than *another* year out from being able to use those wings.Hmm, I think I'm on automatic renewal. I'll need to look at that closer to the time.
So unless I want to pay for a couple more years all at once when Freedom goes live (Which I'm not going to do because, as someone else mentioned upthread, that kind of thing gets too pricey fast-), I'm STILL out of luck.
Oh well.
That's the breaks for being a "noob", I guess. -
