/WP for Stalkers
I have a pair of KM stalkers with WP secondaries, and it works pretty well in my experience. You don't get /Nin's toys, and I do find myself missing QR and Rise sometimes (I also have WP scraps and tanks, for comparison-), but it's not a bad set at all.
I'm sure someone will come along shortly and throw the Real Numbers out there for you in comparison to some of the other choices, but just from an informal perspective, it's always felt like a solid option.

That chick what plays the bird-things...
I'm not the numbers guy, but I also have some /WP stalkers (KM, Spines and
Elec), and /WP is fine.
It's pretty much an autopilot secondary - just flip on your toggles and forget
about them. Heal occasionally if you need to.
It's also not bad in PvP either with it's heal and +perception. Resistance doesn't
seem to get DR'd as much as Def does (my subjective opinion) so you have a
little more staying around time for a pesky fight.
Overall, I like it - it isn't as "interesting" to use as /Nin, but it's solid and reliable.

Have it with my Broadsword and there were times where it annoywed the crap out of me. Mainly because you really do lack for defenses so powerful mobs will chew right through your Strength of Will like it's tissue paper. Grant it, I never tried to tank AVs with Elec or anything else - did it with SR and can do just fine save for that random hit that can pack quite a punch.
The Self heal is a good utility to have and when specced out can essentially give you a second life.
KM's inherent bonus of course is debuffing enemy damage however so even if you get hit, pop off enough hits and their damage may falter allowing you to tough it out much easier. Personally I didn't like it but again, I was using Broadsword so it could of been the slowness of the primary that got me offed so easily.
I found energy aura a good secondary for Kinetic Melee...it provides a good combination of protection and some good defenses....plus you can say you are a Kinetic/Energy Stalker. I wil be honest i dont know how the changes planned for Energy Aura will work out....but they may be very good.
I also have a willpower stalker but i use claws....and so....i guess i am really making it difficult for myself. But then again i am abusing Willpower...and deliberatly trying to make sure i am increasing my health and giving my self increased recovery and increased health regeneration....and when I get to the right levels i will start working on my recharge so i can make sure i can use my self heal alot....and hit even faster. With the claws i am delibertaly putting special IOs that do differing things on them...like knock down and differing damage types that can go off every so often...I am hoping with a fast attack speed i will actualy get those enhancements to work alot more often and thus not be penalyzed for the low damage and lethal only damage i do with claws.(yep trying to work around the issues)
I think Willpower is one of, if not the strongest Stalker secondary. Once IO'ed you can be softcapped to S/L/E/N, with good defense values for other types. That defense is backed by decent resistances as well. If you also take Tough you'll have 50% S/L resistance. Add a very nice self heal to the mix and you have one extremely durable Stalker.
The +HPs are of very limited value IMO. Once accoladed the majority of that benefit is wasted. I guess you could say one benefit of the set is that there's no need to get any of the +HP accolades.
/WP is probably the top 2 best secondaries for Stalkers. It's got almost everything and if you add set bonuses to fill the "defense" hole and Tough/Weave, it is a very very solid set on Stalker. And since Stalker has low HP cap anyway, the extra +HP from the set is just gravy.
I think Kin/WP has good synergies.
What's left is to normalize all Assassin Strikes and improve Stalker's old sets (Claw, MA and EM)! You don't need to bring back the missing PbAoE attack. You just need to make the existing ones better! For example, make Slice a WIDER and LONGER cone.
Thanks a ton guys! I figured the -Dmg from KM would be beneficial with the resistances. I'll have to see how it plays out in the later levels. I'm really interested with how Street Justice is gonna turn out with the new mechanics and how they play out on a stalker. I hope it'll be good, and if it is, it might take over KM as the stalker I want to play haha. But only time will tell.
Kinetic Melee so far seems pretty fun!

Hello everyone! I recently started up a KM/WP stalker and was curious as to how /WP plays out on stalkers. I have had recent experience playing WP but with the self heal and the lack of RttC, I was wondering if it would be a good secondary for KM. I am trying to stay away from Ninjitsu (but oh how I love it) because I've rolled a few stalkers with Ninjitsu already.
It looks pretty appealing with the much needed +Health along with the resistances to deal with the hits it will take with the lesser defenses. I was just looking for a few of your opinions for any pointers or if it's worth it taking the journey with the character.
And if at all possible, would PvP be possible with it without feeling sub-par all the time? Thanks a ton everyone!
