Does useing your back claw weapons (energy attacks) cause redraw on your rifle? (if your mixing the 2 power sets attacks).
-
Its rather nice that you "double dip" when your packing both your normal Resist toggle and Tough with the cardiac Alpha.
-
Maybe its late... but dont you have like mag 25+ Knockback protection in that biuld O_o
I can kinda see why the full set of Zephyr but... Karma Knocback pro?? whats that doing in thier horribliy underslotting Weaves Def bonus. And again Karma KB in invinicbility?? O_o
Zinger in Soul Drain, ok... but Soul Drain does cause decent damage. Along with being one of your few AoEs. Zinger also underslots for recharge. Guessing you really wanted the 3.13% smash/lethal... you can pick it up else were and not gimp this power.
Your Pyre Mastery is horribly underslotted in every way shape and form. I understand your going for cheap biuld. But with that slotting you might as well go Energy master, you will get more use out of under slotted Physical Prefection and Conserve Power vs an underslotted Pyre Mastery.
Is that Titianum Coating in unyeilding? 6 slotted..... Why? (havn't loaded this into mids, as I can't atm to look at certain things just going by what I can eyeball quickly)
Siphon life, yes its a very nice heal. But Doctored wounds give it Zero Acc or Damage. Don't forget Siphon life is also one of your best attacks. Why intentionaly make it under preform. -
1 - Death Embrace
1 - Frozen Fists
2 - Ice Sword
4 - Murky Cloud
6 - Frost
8 - Dark Regeneration
10 - Obsidian Shield
12 - Hover
14 - Cloak of Darkness
16 - Flight
18 - Combat Jumping
20 - Ice Patch
*shrug*
With the thoughts you posted above. Packs a bit of everything.
I put off hover, having another attack is very nice. Plus frost is a pretty good cone attack.
As far as travel powers, Ninja run gets you around Praetoria just fine. Adding Hover makes it even better as nothing is out of your Heigh distance now. Flight is... nice for concept but total unneeded for praetoria zones. Thiers no annoying zones to run in (unlike things like Faultline, Dark Astoria, Hollows etc) -
Wow, that base looks fantastic!!
Very cool trick with stairs -
-
I'm not most tanks, and I'm not trying to insult anyone when I say I have had over 8 Very Rares, and ended up burning the extra for threads to turn into Commons.
The Whole System Sucks.
On another note... as much as mechanicly i would love to have some of the other incarnte powers they dont make sense for my Tanker. Rebirth would be cool... but dam me for trying to keep to a theme. Having a big healing aura doens't make sense. Big impenditrable barrier of energy? Oh yeah -
-
Only reason I really botherd to hit T4 on my Main was... well hes a Praetor from Praetoria, whos a Loyalist agest what Cole is trying to do. So this toon is probley 1 of only a handful of Toons in the game that the Lore pets make sense on.
I dont understand why we can't "swap" the icon palt and just keep the stats of the pets the same.
Clockwork.... Choose Praetorian or Normal Clockwork (Like Clockwork king stuff)
IDF.... Choose IDF or PPD (from Primal Earth. K-Suits etc hello!!)
Warworks.... Choose Warworks or Vanguard Robots
Seers.... Choose Seers or PPD seers (forget thier names)
Thats a pretty simple selection and would make EVERYONE a lot happier. -
Doh, I loaded the wrong one. I had swapped Longfangs Achillies into the Suppression. As putting it in a multi target attack makes more sense.
I really wanted to put Frag and Assault in (leadership one) but unlike many biulds I do this one ended up being Power spot starve, opposed to the normal slot starve with extra power spots.
Can't win them all I guess. -
On the Cheap Inv > Shields.
But doesn't mean shields should nessaryly be thrown out. Especialy if it fits your style/theme. -
Yeah back in the dark ages when if a Tanker wanted his Status protection, he didn't move.
Unyielding... really was Unyielding (aka it rooted you in place).
Reg Scrappers were one of the few ATs that had mobil Status protection. And they also had Godmode (old Instant healing 6 slotted with Heals, you litteraly healed your entire hp bar in 1-3 secs. So only way to die was to be 1 shotted by a AV). -
Not a Scrapper... but thought I put my 2 cents down.
I went with Dimagetic for the 100% To Hit Debuff/50% Reg Debuff.
The To Hit Debuff is FANTASTIC in a Damage Aura. My Standard lead off into a group is Footstomp. Run in and Bam.. between the 2 AoEs Everything around me suddenly has 2 Stacks of to Hit Debuff. By the time they even try to fight back.
I am thinking I might make the reactive one just for when I solo content I dont need maxium tankage for the added dot. I watched a Spines/FA melt the a door in BAF due to the double damage aura's and Proc Dots. It was pretty crazy. -
True, its not really that unmobil. I was thinking of My First level 50 was a FA/Ice . Before all the IOs and everything I tended to strickly stand on my Ice Patch since FA only had CJ/Weave for Def.
Later when I had enough recharge I could drop mulit patchs and move around a bit. It was nice to drop patches on squishes as a protection screen. Or drop them on corners you were pulling around to help bottle up things.
In modern game play its certainly not that unmobil. Espeicaly on a INv tanker whos packing Def thiers no need to strickly stand on it for def. -
Another one that might do well.
Inv/Ice
yeah Crazy as it sounds, but Ice Patch is crazy good mitigation. it doens't make you very mobil granted but its pretty amazeing how many things you can tie down when you drop 2 ice patches and then move onto another group.
Unlike Dark, ice also offers better AoE damage (though your ST damage suffers).
Inv/Ice also can make use of the Sleep in Frozen Aura since Inv doesn't have a Damage Aura.
Inv/Stone is definitely a good all around (mid + St + AoE). End might be a little bit of a issue if your not careful. But proper slotting etc should take care of that. -
I'll second.. (third?) the Inv/Dm as being cheap and very effect right out of the box.

Quote:Why are you talking about me on the forums? LOLI know one person that is stocking up Very Rares at the moment and used most of their Empyrean Merits to buy commons thread components, seeing that they can't seem to get the common table. They already have tier 4s in all 5 incarnate slots.
But in seriousness... Commons I have not gotten a single one. So Im left constantly having to convert into commons, even burning Very Rares and Eypheral merits that I have no need for /cry -
Currently sit at..
T4 Ion
T4 Barrier
T4 Diamagnetic
T4 Warworks
T4 Seer
Want the extra options of all Psi Damage pets if I needed it. -
Quote:Quoted for truth.. getting purples is harder then unlocking this stuff with Trial runs. What I don't get is why people are complaining so much about the Incarnate system "grind" when unlocking these slots are way eaisier (in my experience) then trying to "purlple out" your hero. I know that as a casual player I could probably never really fully purple out a player...Incarnate hasn't been nearly as difficult.
Since basicly finishing with I20 incarnate on my Main, I am now greatfuly looking forward to not touch my tanker for awhile and playing other toons.
Its VERy Grindy feeling to me, and after the first couple of 10 times doing the same trial over and over again really REALLY starts to lose any Fun that might have been thier.
Especialy as more and more I figured out how bad the reward system rewards people. -
On second thought looking over my own biuld.. I might drop some slots from the Def Powers. Thier over Def slotted...

I will only post this.....

... Thier is a way to abuse the preformance system (The System as a whole is total broken ). I will say no more, except this was done on my Tanker. -
So heres my first attempt at biulding a AS, that should play a bit like a Mastermind. All 3 pets are Perma, along with Perma Hasten, Perma Serum, while still packing solid Def and Res. and SHOCKER!!... Presence pool. With all those uncontrollable pets + Crabs solid Res (40-50% all except psi), Def (35%ish S/L/E/N and 45% Range), and Hps (2162 with 32 hp/sec) seemed like I might have finaly found a character that Presence pool would have a purpose.
Also packs both +5% pet Def aura. Along with both Manuvers (dont know if pets have any innate Def). Puts pets just a smig below 32% Def.
Let me know what you think of the biuld
PS - Its purple light for a reasonI hate Purples.

Or you can do what I did and get both at T4 (Warworks and Seers )
That way if I need Psi damage I can swap out to Seers, otherwise I run with Warworks.
I tryed out the Seeker, and have to say the Fort is nice, but I like the extra Damage better.
I personaly don't care much about Vicky.. I would rather have to ACUs (both for looks and Concept). Something not to dismiss about the ACUs is thier packing -Reg on both thier range attacks.
I went with TohitDebuff/Reg Debuff, so my ACU double applies -Reg when he shoots something. This made a very noticable difference when I went pounding on a AV as opposed to normal. (the Extra DPS was nice to since I took the T4 with Damage Boost).
And thier is something to be said about the Seers pure Psi damage vs many targets. On a toon thats pretty much strickly Smash, having Psi damage backup can be very nice. -
Not a 100% sure on this, but pretty sure that thiers a bonus 1 Astral Merit for not ever turning any turrets off.
Which is why Im not a fan of that pull spot. yes, everyone shares more in the possible thread drops from the Adds and xp. But at the same time your loseing out on a extra Astral Merit.
I only averge 5 Threads on Baf reguardless of were thier pulled to, doens't seem to make a differnce. So a possiblity of maybe.. maybe a extra Thread. Vs a automatic Astral (which can be turned into 4 threads).
Yeah.. I know were I liked to pull to. TennisOr just kill them at thier spawn points hehe.
And after all the Bafs I have been through, Im not conviced its "easyer" as everyone keeps saying. Seems more Apples to Oranges then anything else.
