I never asked for it! So, let be optimistic and see it as a no-strings attached, sure thing, all win (though I still thin Stamina and Health will ramp up to full power at level 20, rather than...boom you have it!)

Not to mention, ALL of my toons have fitness. That means respecs to all of them. Unless they keep the pool and the inherents. In which case, more end and health for me I suppose.

I hope that they handle this carefully, I have a lot of toons balanced just the way I want them, 3 new powers opening up and having 4 new inherents is going to gum up the works big time.
then you slot the inherent powers the way you slotted them as Power Pool powers, and grab 3 new powers, that you may or may not find a use for!

There is no downside currently, except you may have to pick in 3 remove from tray powers that never see the light of play. But you could pick them up for purely concept reasons.

The tough one so far for me will be my Fire/Earth Dom, but I think that's only because I haven't decided if I will switch to Fire Mastery or go with the planned Mu Mastery (tough choices)

Basically more and more builds are going to feel like slotting tri-form khelds.
I had to make the consession of a 1 Slotted Typhoon's Edge on my DB/WP who had to have that one power for concept, I'm sure I can handle three new powers terribly unslotted for maximum effectiveness, just to get closer to my concept

What's the difference if you get two free powers instead of one? The only special enhancements you could slot in it would be HOs - you can't slot sets in Swift or Hurdle, and almost certainly a combined inherent version would be the same way. Other than the extremely specific case of slotting the combined power with a Micro HO I'm not sure why this is better.
Use a Movement speed increase Hami-O!

    What makes you say that?

Using my Stalker as an example...I get to add Physical Perfection (fine with 1 slot...and wanted for both more recovery and concept), possibly Combat Jumping (oooh just a few more points of Defense!) and Hover and or Fly!

Won't let me get all the concept powers I want from pools, as some of those concept powers require 2 power picks, but it gets me a lot closer (building within AT limits of course).

However, I would hazard a guess that doing something like this would run less risk of unbalancing certain powersets than just giving everyone the Fitness power pool.
Naaa. Because people with those sets still tend to take Stamina. And if we don't get extra slots, they're still grabbing powers that can't be slotted up as well.

What I think we'll see is more varied builds, in that people will have that one power pool to free up to whatever they want. Getting 4 of the 5 epic choices in one build will be more possible now.

My thought is they won't change the values. It sounds like more of a QoL improvement than anything.

All those people with tight builds (and with the improvements to melee armors, and the coolness of the attacks...I find a lot of the melee ATs to be right builds now. Stalkers more so, as you want Build Up (more so on a Kin Melee imo), Placate, and Assassin Strike) just got 3 power slots freed up.

Wouldn't be worth it if the values where lower, and what's the point of putting people's excitement up with this news, if you're going to kill their END REC with it?

I think either they'll be level locked (6, 14, 20) or available at some point between level 1-20, and build up to full effectiveness at level 20.

My guess is the level lock. It'll give people things to look forward to at those levels.

The question is rather : what will happen to your already built toons with slotted hurdle/health/stamina when the patch goes live ? Probably the build would not change until a respec, and then once you respec they go inherent ...

Anyway, it confirms the recent very animated threads we had about "endurance issues", and it seems the devs have read, made their choice and decided to add some QoL to that matter. I can only applaud.
This is what I think as well.

Either you'll have to respec toons to get them as inherents OR quite possibly, you'll keep the powers, and get the inherents (I'm thinking you'll beable to slot it), sooo you can have both untill you respec.

This can mean that you'll get additional END/Regen if you don't respec, but personally, I think most would do the respec for the added powers (maybe not 100%, but a large enough majority) as I know I would on every concept, as I want additional concept powers!

Just the thought of them unlocking at 6, 14, 20 is awesome to me.

I have it in my Stalker build (needed for concept), but it came at a cost.

It would be nice to see this pool used a little more. At least for Manuevars, but I find Tactics helps on some of the TFs as well.

I don't see why people worry that much about not getting more slots. You're already limited by how many slots you can put into your build now, this won't change anything, what does this do now?

Oh look...I'm going to grab those powers I don't really need to slot and put them into my build now Either for concept or min/max purposes.

Oh look, I can add Combat Jumping for additional +Defense, Immbolize Protection, and slot it with a +RCH LotG.

When before I might have skipped it on my Hover Blaster.

    It gives wiggle room!

And for those who use Ninja Run as a travel power because they needed to make room in their build...OH LOOK! A real travel power again!
  13. First off, let me say, I've never had these OMG, I can't handle the END Issues, issue, that other players have had. However, that's not to say I didnt take Fitness by 22/22 either. I did! This is just saying those who have the "OH NO" before Stamina, and still complain afterwards.

That said, I love the news! this will make filling out my concepts so much easier if they do it the way I think they will!

    Swift/Hurdle at level 6 (1 slot, enhanceable)
Health at level 14 (1 slot, enhanceable)
Stamina at level 20 (1 slot, enhanceable)

Yup, it won't be freeing up slots, but I don't care! This will allow me to take powers on builds, to fit my concepts! I know my Stalker will love this for the PvE Build!

Physical Perfection (not only a concept power, but a great one at that), Fast Healing (I had to skip it for Health to make room for other concept powers) AND FLY or HOVER (I kinda want her to be a SLOOOOW flier, but still able to just a bit).

Though is this for i20 or i19? I really hope this is for i19!

i19 Fitness is Inherent! Would be a cool issue to be just for this fact!

You know. I just don't see it as farming. I'm not saying they won't be repeating it every two days, but farming just doesn't seem the right word for it.

Not when it takes you two days to get it. And you can only buy one hero a merit a day. If anything, it's farming that people would be doing, so they can get the merits/influence to buy a hero merit a day.

I mean, this should have been shoe in on the boards and it failed even that.

It's frustrating that such a good movie was out done by Eat Pray Love and Vampires Suck, much less an action movie that had the flimsiest story with no character development. Yet, there we go. At least I can understand why the Expendables beat out SP in the end, even if I disagree with that.
No character developement? It had character developement. It just wasn't all big, complicated and the whole of the movie.

A merc goes back to rescue a girl, not for the money, but basically to save his soul. The scene with Mickey Rourke explains that, and was quite touching.

Was it the focus of the movie? Nooo. And it was never intended to be the sole focus of the movie.

    Longer Buffs

Just like to add, I'm okay with SB giving out a bit less ENDREC and +RCH for a 4minute duration!

  18. Dual Pistol/Armor Praetorian Epic AT?

New buff/debuff powerset for Corrs and Defenders that emulates Armor class well enough to give people what they've been wanting?

    Okay...those may just be me.

My guess...more power customizations, and they'll be in the game BEFORE i19!

Top Cow was ok as well. In those storylines you got a better feel for the background of the main heroes and the history of Paragon City.

But as a player I liked the first line better as it showed the plights of a band of heroes just starting out. The very last page of #12 of the Blue King ones is my very favourite.

the last from Apex, is exactly why I hated the Blue King issues. Ruined the immersion for me on so many levels.

Thus, damage procs are really nice in quick recharging filler powers like Neutrino Bolt or Gambler's Cut, or in damage fields, aura or otherwise, like Blazing Aura or Caltrops. They're probably not optimal for slow recharging heavy hitting powers, though. Damage proc in Nova = somebody's not quite clear on the concept.
For the slow recharging attacks, I'd say it depends on what you're going for.

You're setup fine in all the other areas of the power and havethat 6th slot available...that damage proc may be okay.

    Comes down to build.

Always fun to put in AOE attacks though
  21. Kheldians for sure. They're just one ofthe ATs that just...makes me hate playing it. Okay, that's not true...I like playing them in human form. However, I HATE playing in Squid form, and Drawf form just bores me. And since I hate using the two forms, I feel like I'm neglecting the whole point of the AT...sooo...I just can't play them.

Masterminds go on that list as well. I got my Demon/Dark to 50, I loved my Demon/Dark, I was tanking with it, surviving lots with it. It just bored me. :/ *shrug* Not my style of play is all.

Trollers. Have 2 at 50, but while I know how good they can be and are...yeah, I've kinda just stopped with them. Like the MM, just not my style.

Everything else, I'm more than willing to play, though some of them still have issues. Love Dual Pistols and Fire Blasting blasting, I just don't feel as useful to the team. Scrapper brings damage and survival.

I find the fact that Scrappers survive better, brings more to the team.

Also, Blaster secondaries do tend to be suckie imo.

Defenders are no different than Corruptors to me...but with me being able to get a corr as a hero, I'll likely see less Defender usage, because I like having the attacks as a primary powerset.

I exemp for TFs a lot, and hate missing the attacks.

You'd be wrong on the expendables.

Non gun fights happen quite a bit. It does a good mix of both.
  23. Heh...I would of thought it was more like this (as a previous poster said)...

Fans: OH You make it a movie and we'll see it over and over again!

    Execs: Okay lets make it!

    Fans: *waiting for download*

I can't help but hear so many times, "If you know were to look, you could of seen it already on the net for free!" Okay, maybe not SO MANY...but enough to figure, it's more than a handful.

I was PLANNING on seeing Scott Pilgram this weekend, but it was pulled from my local theater.

It was either see Expendables or Scott Pilgram, and I made my choice (and was quite happy with it). Just glad to see it doing better than A-Team and The Losers (two movies I still don't see why they didn't do that good in theaters).

I really didn't think Scott Pilgrim was going to do so well. Not after Kick-*** only made like 48 million in the US, and I heard much more hype on it, than SP.

And I saw Kick-*** two times in the theater! So, I know it got my support. Sooo...that means I'd likely support a sequal (assuming no recasting and all).
  24. I don't recall where the point was...but after so much damage enhancement in an ability (and it was lower than 95%...I want to say 85-88% or more)...the damage proc actually increased your damage about more than adding more +DMG (due to DR)...if I was reading the numbers in mids right.

That said...why do people like procs? You just got damage capped by that all to common Kin! That proc just went off! You just did damage over the damage cap!
