Definitely just lost 600m on two pieces of salvage. :(

If I'm still around, I can ruin your costumes with Player One.

I started this game playing Melee. Four of my first five 50's were melee. I tried a Corruptor early on (a Rad/Kin, my third 50), and I didn't care for much it.
Then I started Player One, my Fire/Cold Corruptor. At first, I was doubting creating her (I started her in Praetoria, and played mostly alone), but once I started gaining levels and teaming, she quickly became my favourite character. I'd say that I play her the most. I've invested the most in her (in terms of influence) of all my characters, and she's just so fun. -

Ah, you're right. I have no idea why I put spaces in there. Whenever I enter those commands, I do so without a space (or an underscore).

Quote:/wdwsave and /wdwload will save/load the UI layout and placement from the default (wdw.txt).When you create a new character, it loads the default chat tabs. You can save a layout as the default anytime with a slash command that I can't recall atm, or via the options window somewhere (IIRC it's in there).
/chatsave and /chatload will save and load chat settings (channel-tab placement) from the default (chat.txt)
Edit: corrected slash commands. Thanks, Ironblade! -

Quote:Ah, misunderstanding. I was unclear when I posted previously. I didn't mean that the Dagger/Serum's drop rate was a nuisance. I meant temp powers as a whole. I do agree that the dagger and serum seem to be lower on the drop scale. The thing is that i find the drop rate for Dagger and Serum is actually somewhat lower that what i would enjoy, but past the early levels the drop rate for the attack powers is probably at least three to four times what i would like simply because i usually delete them anyway. Quite often i still have charges left from crafting them in the early game that have been sitting there unused since the late teens. Past the early twenties i usually have little to no use for the weapon powers. Although if the Devs did add craftable chaingun and shotgun powers i might use them more just for the sheer fun of it.
I think for every Serum I get, I receive a dozen St. Louis Slammers, Hand Grenades or Power Analyzers. -
I use the Envenomed Dagger a bit, and on some characters, the Recovery Serum during early-mid levels.
I know they have their utility, but their drop rate is a bit of a nuisance. -
So, another Double XP weekend is coming to an end. How did you fare, Champion?
Myself, I didn't progress quite as much as I wanted to. Darn work kept me away for the majority of today... and I didn't realize it was Double XP weekend until well into the evening Friday.
I got a few levels on my Ice/Time Corr, Millisecond on Friday night. I think she went from 22 to 27, or some such.
Late Friday, I created Noircir, a Dark/Dark Dom (a re-roll of a fire/dark Corruptor) and street-swept to level 6. I then got from 5 to 35 Saturday (and this morning) by doing a couple of DFB trials, and a bunch of Task Forcing
I can't complain about progress too much. 35 levels isn't anything to sneeze at, but I did have great company and had a blast teaming with Amy, Cobalt and Horus, among others. -
Installs and opens fine for me.
Thanks, Diellan! -

Definitely the alignment system.
My favourite character is now my fire/cold Corruptor, but playing redside is too "blah" for me. -
I am having a bit of odd behaviour with additional power trays.
Previously, I had my trays set up as in the below image.
The upper left had a tray that was "bent".
Adding a tray and selecting "vertical" allows me to "bend" a tray anywhere on the lower halfof the screen. It will not allow me to "bend" a tray along the top. Selecting "horizontal" allows me to "bend" a tray anywhere on the right side of the screen, but not the left. I can add "bent" trays in any corner except for the upper left. This occurs in both windowed and full screen display.
In the past, regardless of horizontal or vertical setting, I was able to bend the trays freely in any corner.
Having previously saved a window file, using /wdw_load will place a tray in the upper left corner, but I am unable to reposition it.
I loaded my wife's account on her machine, thinking it was either a problem with my client or my computer, but I experienced the same problems.
Any idea what the cause or solution could be?
Edit: The same behaviour occurs on Beta. -
I've been leveling lower level characters of late, and I can't say that I've seen a difference in drops for them.
While running iTrials, I've never had many drops.
I ran a 50 through the new DA content, and I had to clear my recipes several times throughout (deleting commons, temp powers and useless sets). By the end of it, I had a purple, and 20-odd rare/uncommon recipes. The last purple I had drop was sometime in 2010 -
Happened to me as well. Setting the active mission did not fix this.

It seems to be at random.
The first teleporter I placed, I added the beacons from left to right. The UI maintained this order.
I did the same for all other teleporters, and none are in the order I selected/placed them. None are alphabetical, and none by zone level range. -
I happened to be in KR, and noticed that I saw absolutely no enemies for some stretch. I ran around, and saw nothing.
I decided to give the "gathering point" a quick look. As soon as the Paladins and their spawn came into view, my client froze for a moment, sputtered and moved at a glacial pace.
Seeing in search that there were a few lowbies in zone, I figured that this would be instant death for any that had a mission nearby, so I went to work on my fire/cold. After killing the first Paladin (at an incredibly slow rate, given the nosedive in performance), I ran around a bit and saw some Vahz and Skulls returned.
I ran back to the gathering point, and got to work on the second and third. After a half hour or so, I managed to down them all.
A few minutes later, "Unusual Clockwork activity in Kings Row", followed by "Clockwork Paladin spotted in Kings Row" a few moments after that. -

Quote:I know what your saying is not true. Selling an io for 3 billion of market now is cheating to someone who does not know whats coming.
Spin it anyway you like its not the right thing to do unless you just need influ and are willing to do anything to get it.
...and if the buyer "needs" the IO, and is willing to do anything to get it?
I would say that the vast majority of the people willing and able to afford the 1, 2, 3 BILLION for the IO are informed players. People who know that an IO is "worth" in excess of a billion inf likely are aware of what might be around the corner.
I am not cheating anybody by offering an IO at any price. Regardless of being on- or off-market, it's not cheating someone by offering an item for a price, if they are willing to buy it. I am not misleading them and saying, "1 bill for a glad" and giving them the res/rech/end. I am not deliberately giving them false information.
You, yourself have mentioned in the past that you have multiple billions of inf. I would imagine at least some of it came from buying something at a price you saw worthwhile, and selling it for a profit. You knew that you could get that LotG for 50 mil if you were patient. Likewise, the buyer knew he could have it for 100 mil if he wanted it badly enough. Is that not just as wrong?
