Or our tech guy uses his scanners built into his suit now that there are only a few left and his technobabble wave emitter can get a triangulation fix on the remainder without feedback interference.
Should be fun, at least better than us all splitting up and zoomig around searching that office building or cave complex for another 15 minutes as has happened when we could get on with things.
I really hope it includes hostages, those are the worst. -

Yes, neat idea, a non exploding version of those tables would make a nifty looking alternative crafting table to be able to place in a base.
Linking it to beiing able to place it if a person already has the Field Crafter accolade would make sure it takes nothing away from the accolade reward, instead of just making it generally available in the base editor. The exploding, temp version is still handy for outside the base. -
I'm looking for the file that is the sound of bullets ricocheting off of a target hit by most machine gun blasts if anyone can help, please. It will save my sanity.

However shields turns out to be like in the long run power-set wise, the shield graphics and customability variety are top notch, loving them a lot! Very nice to have such a large ammount of choices right off the bat.
Being able to save costumes.. brilliant! To me, this goes far above mere quality of life.
Bases.. being able to do so much more in decorating and building by having the placement restrictions off, suddenly I have a base editing toy that will last me months worth of creative play. Being able to suddenly afford a bigger plot size helps a bunch. Now all we need are more decorative bits, I need my indoor swimmable pool!
I'll save my gripes about other things about the issue for another post, and issue 13 does deserve some griping in places, but from the looks of things I thought it would be good to throw a few positive bits out there. -

I just got the power "Ice patch" for my new archery/ice blaster, and after a few days i have had my fill of the wintery wind sound the ice patch makes, I find myself not using it sometimes just cause I do not want to hear the loud winter noise for a while anymore.
I did a search here and ended up trying to silence it with both cold_loop.ogg and fog_loop (found out I already had fog loop silenced from earlier, heh) and neither do the trick. I tried searching this thread for "ice patch" and didnt find anything.
Could someone please enlighten me to the sound name for the Blaster secondary power ice patch please? -

People saying "it is optional, it won't effect you if you do not want it to" ..
It is there for everyone to use, much more than vent etc. so it will be used a lot.
For those who do not want to use it? Tag along in a team and not hear what is going on. RP blown out the window. Lousy choice.
Turn it on? Roleplay blown out the window anyway. Lousy choice.
Yes, it might not be that cut and dried, but overall I feel this will be more negative than positive.
I DO use Ventrilo in other games.. raiding games, FPS war games.. City of was the best place for more roleplay type play, I fear that is going to be lessened to a great degree when this comes. I find that in other games where Ventrilo type voice is the norm, if you try to roleplay with live speech instead of in text, it is accepted and not ridiculed much much easier if the rp is in text... as long the whole team is using text, otherwise it is usually ignored at best. I find people that do not roleplay normally can even get into it if it is text and not overdone, I've converted a few now excellent roleplayers via being in character via text. Doesnt happen with speech.
Does not matter if built in speech is in the launcher or the game itself, it is the same in your face availability, and the pick up group masses shall use it.
Guess we see how it goes. -

Gonna be hard to play a tiny little goblin's piping cute voice, or a burly 9 foot tall, 400 pound tank's voice, or a catgirl's voice.. so many alts. Each with a distinctive voice, will this new software be able to voice change realistically for all these for RP purposes? -

Hmm, Kinda need to know what props are available..
I hope lots of objects props can be used as glowies. As in cars, candy machines, the gas meters outside of buildings.. lots and lots of objects means lots of plot ideas.
I also hope the branching dialog is implemented into this too by then.
Until I know what tools we have available, I guess I'll have to hold off on pre-working on mission ideas, drats.
But this is very very exciting news! Brilliant! -

One thing in the real numbers I'd like to see is a power's range, maybe I just missed it while looking over the screen shots.
Having the numbers feature while creating the character is a very nice quality of life goodie, much pleased and lookng forward to it. -

This is something that has annoyed for a long time.
Scrollback lock ability, even just while cursor is on the scroll up bar, would be very helpful.
The other improvements in chat that are coming in issue 12 are appreciated too though. Very good quality of life fixes. -
Green lantern really stands out first glance to me, then the eye wanders down to Wonder Woman, over to Supes, to Bats, then scans the back characters/whole thing.
Wonder Woman looks great, and something about her hair realy works well, dunno why I like it so much.
Poor Hawk Girl, she needs some curves though.
I love your work, seeing the group of Justice League members there in such great detail and composition is fun. Hawkgirl is my only regret. -

I finally started playing a mastermind today after years of playing all the other classes (exept stalkers, couldnt get into them for long), and the first thing I did while still in breakout was come look at the mastermind forums to find help with the pet commands that kept me from taking the mastermind plunge before this.
I just had to jump back in quick before I continue to level out of Mercy Island and say thanks for these, the keypad setup has been very very helpful. -
This is wierd, since one of my main characters, Junglefire, has his backstory set in the jungles of South Amerrica and involving Nazis. Wrote it in the opening weeks of the game when I made him, but I bet now that folks will think I came up with it due to issue 11, bah!

Im trying to get rid of the hasten-like high pitched whine noise during the activation of my fire tank's burn power.
After seeing your post I just tried puting in a silent version of hasten.ogg in powers on test to try that, still hearing the offfending noiseupon burn's activation unfortunantly. -

Me too, the peaceeyes1.ogg kills the activation sound whine, but not the continuous whine that my peacebringer has for the duration of the flight toggle being on. -

Oops! Now I feel ashamed of the simple character information piece that I sent in on Tigerstar, it certainly was not done as a story or in proper writing style, more like a much lengthier version of what you might find crammed into the in-game character bio field.
