I spent two years in Taiwan, part of that time when maintenance was daily. Every single day after working from 9 to 10 I'd come home and try to log in, forgetting about the downtime. Even when it was changed to a weekly schedule it still affected my game play. It is a very frustrating scenario, and as a previous poster said, you're story comes off as quite condescending.

Did anyone else read this as "tosses a squid a quid"?

You can't auto complete it, but you should be able to use the new abandon mission feature. All that does is clear it from your mission list. You can talk to the contact again to get it again and complete it.

In the AE suppression area all powers are turned off and your tray is greyed out. I can't think of any instance where powers are just suppressed and not turned off. Even when you're held aggressive toggles turn off and defensive ones still work.

Fame is not a limit on how many tip missions you can do in a day. Just a limit on how many alignment points you can get. Morality missions don't count towards the fame/alignment point limit unless you don't have a full 10 points in the alignment of the mission. In both cases you can still get and do missions after all your fame slots are full.

I'd be more than happy to go somewhere else. Too bad EB is the only store in Canada that carries the physical copy of GR.

You can do as many tips as you want, however, you can gain 5 alignment points within the 20 hour block. Also, there is a 20 hour timer for each fame slot, so the missions don't reset together after 20 hours.

The strange thing is that WalMart's Canadian website lists GR if you search for it, but if you try to find a store with any in stock no dice.

I really hope tomorrow brings good news for us. I have no problem buying it from NCSoft, but I really wanted a physical copy of it. My most current CoX disc is CoV.

That's a good point, but I didn't necesarily mean GameStop specifically. I take issue more with the whole exclusive aspect of it. I'd like to have had the ability to choose a store I trusted more while still getting a bonus.

1. That's ridiculous. Considering most of the people who come to these boards with credit card problems are either from outside the United States, or are residing outside, Silverado's understanding of the situation is completely logical. Even more so if you've never had to deal with the issue yourself.

2. That's ridiculous. This is what brings you to despair for humanity? Not the slaughter and warefare going on in several parts of the world right now? Not the willful destruction of much of the planet at our hands? Interesting.

It doesn't. People from Canada, Brazil, Europe, Australia, etc. would be screwed otherwise.

I had to wait half an hour while the guy at my local store got out his netbook and looked GR up on the Gamestop website. Fun times.

I'm a long term subscriber. I pre-ordered GR, so I am going to get the goodies that come with getting the expansion via GameStop.

What about this argument: There really is no good reason why long-time subscribers who pre-order the "Going Rogue" set should not receive early access to the Dual Pistols and Demon Summoning powersets included in the Pre-PURCHASE package sold through the NCSoft store.

Special offers aren't bad ideas. They are choices. If you pre-purchase you got one thing. If you pre-order you got another. If you want to you can do both to get everything, but the only people being denied anything are the people who don't play the game yet since they have no account to attach the pre-purchase to.

Expecting more from someone who has two little words under their picture is just rediculous. You get that title by posting on the forums. Any forum. Any post. You don't have to answer questions, or be a friendly person. You just click reply, type one character, then click submit reply.

Just as you can't judge a player's skill by their level, you can't just post quality by post count.

I'm not saying this with Snow Globe in mind, just as a general rule. Forum titles are truly meaningless.

This is how I do it too.

As a tank I usually cycle through targets to make sure I have everyone paying attention to me, and I give more attention to the tougher mobs, like bosses, AVs so the rest of the team can pick of the little guys in peace. I actually hate seeing the scrapper or blaster rush in to attack the big guy, so I also expect people not to target off of me.
