Ok, I'm officially about to whine for the first time ever here.

I think it's pretty crappy that they're giving out a permanent in-game item that everyone isn't reasonably able to get. Yeah, it will probably come out in the future as a Vet reward, but for many many players, that will end up being years away. If they release an in game item like the PPD Hardsuit costume, it should also be available via other means (such as sold online like the Wedding Pack) to those who live across the country, or for some other reason are not able to attend.

And if the devs do not immediately meet my demands, I will rally thousands of players and we will all stop playing forever! And....and....uh....all the other things said by those who whine frequently.

I don't know what they mean. The first thing that springs to mind is the "rested xp" stuff that some games have. I think Lord of the Rings does that? It's something like if you haven't played a character for a few days, then you earn xp at a higher rate for the first hour after you finally log in. It seems like an odd addition for a game where almost everyone has massive altitis.

Actually, if you think about it, this could make perfect sense for a game where so many people have such massive altitis. You play one toon for a couple days, get bored, switch to another toon, and it's like you're on a xp rush. This could actually feed into altitis very well.

I highly doubt that they'll make it so that either side 50 opens up either side EAT.

Personally, I see all Vet Rewards as small bonuses for having played this long. Therefore, I look forward to some, and not so much to others. I have no complaints about them, the Devs never needed to give them to me, and they don't effect any of my characters so much that if they were suddenly gone I'd be lost.

On that note, I'm also glad I didnt spend $200 on amazon.com on the preorder CoV, and tho I may never even use the helms, it's great to have the option. For the temp powers, oh well, another range attack for me. No complaints there either.

One idea that I've had for a while but haven't seen anywhere is a new way to deal with room sizes. I think it would be a lot better if each room's cost was determined by the number of squares taken up and the amount of items allowed in each room, instead of them being predetermined.

To elaborate, each room starts out as 1x1 for say 25k prestige. Add another square for a certain price. Each room starts with the ability to hold 1 of whatever item the room is made for. So, a tp room starts out being able to hold 1 teleporter and 2 beacons. Pay a certain amount, get another tper and another beacon, etc etc. Then you can also pay for each storage item per room, etc.

The rooms could also be made so that you can shape them pretty much however you like. This would help boost base designers' creativity, and help save a lot of wasted prestige on wasted and often practically unusable space.
