This is the way to go, plus it would eliminate the main reason to have the logout out to character selection option mentioned in the other thread. -

This would be their own choice, and agreeing to a disclaimer, such as "This will enable quitting to character select screen, I accept responsibility for any consequences of enabling this option" it would be their responsibility.
And I recall that the 30 second time out was indeed for the Identification of griefers.

XP can be turned on and off in the menu options, logout to server or character select should be too. Make the default set how it is now, but allow players to choose their own logging options. No biggie.
Oh, and Zombie Mans' story was pretty damn funny.

All my existing characters will stay where they are. I'm going to make some new ones and let them choose their own path as they go.

This plus the fact that there is a silhouette of a new city on title, like Coh has the Paragon silhouette, and Cov has the Rogue Islands silhouette, is a pretty good indicator. And it is also an Expansion, not an Issue. (although it may be an issue also)

Holey Moley ! Once again the NC team goes way above and beyond what can be expected , not only custom end bosses, but whole enemy group creation! The graphic interface looks great, with the new, clean and up to date appearance . You guys really did hit the "awesome button" on this one.
The video is hilarious, I can't wait to see the other two.

Yeah, that sounds like a plan, maybe they can just jump to the different areas and it would be a location badge to them. I think your on to something.

I agree with Yogi 100% , on all of his points. The time should remain 30 days due to the rewards associated with the badges.
Maybe the devs can just add another tab next to accolades and acheviements and call it "Job Titles" to track job status, have no art work, just the title and description and possible progress bar of the different jobs.
Who knows , maybe that'll put a cork in the wine bottle.
These would be known as "Job Listings" , not badges.
