  1. After viewing several posts and builds...I got to this current one. The character itself is VERY endurance heavy and it seems I need to add as much END as possible. I plan on adding the "regular" accolades and Cardiac Alpha to the build as well.

    Am I missing anything? He seems to be a beast in single and AOE damage but want to make sure I am doing everything I can to keep him running. I've never been a big fan of purples, but money is no object. Any and all suggestions are welcome. Thanks in advance.

  2. Here is my build...it takes a different route than BrandX's build...but still VERY survivable. I decided to go with high amounts of regeneration and hitpoints while not sacrificing too much in the way of defense. I exempt down all the time and this character can run any task force without too much trouble. I am happy to answer any questions you may have, but I think you will find a slotted, lvl 50 DB/WP scrapper can hang with the best of the scrapper builds.

  3. This is an EXPENSIVE build but it is the one I am running currently and I can do more than most tankers out there. I love this character and it can take a lickin and keep on tickin! I did not take a travel power, as I feel Ninja run can move me well enough and it doesn't take a power choice away from me. Let me know if you have any questions. Enjoy!

  5. I'm a 72 month vet and there is one thing I can never get a handle on or find a straight answer for: Accuracy and ToHit. My questions are as follows:

    1) What is the difference between the two.

    2) Are there caps for the two powers?

    3) Are accuracy and ToHit figured out for the whole character or individual powers?

    4) How do I figure out my characters ToHit and Accuracy so it makes sense?

    I have a DB/WP Scrapper and HATE to miss, so...

    5) What is considered ok/better/best for accuracy? And what is "overdoing it?"

  6. This is the build I run with atm...yes it is QUITE expensive but I can survive almost anything. Feel free to use what you want out of it...I aimed for Def, Regen, and HPs.

  7. I was on that team as well. Thankfully, when the servers came back online we reformed. And we managed to run the Trial and complete it! I believe that the trial lead by myself and Virusman was the first one completed on Protector. Complete success!

  9. Just a few ideas about your build. Remember, since you are dealing with WP you should focus on regeneration and defense where you can get it. You also want to get as much out of your top tier attacks as you can. Most people on this forum would agree that Melt Armor is worthless and a hold for a tank is probably a waste of a power selection. The other two powers are ok if you are looking for AOE or ranged attacks. I selected energy mastery because it seems to work well with WP. Please use my build for an idea of what I would consider slotting (even if I just used IOs.) You can get to the point where your regen is so high defense is icing on the cake. Hope it helps.

    To the OP: I was way happy before i18 with my build. It did what I wanted and more. Now I have three extra powers to worry about...I picked up hasten (which I like) but not happy with Maneuvers and Assault (they suck up way too much end and I have no additional slots for them.)

    To everyone: So I am now looking for some suggestions on what to do. I was wondering, also, what would be more useful than the Hecatomb proc i have in Vengeful Slice. I am currently using the Musculature Alpha but have all four. Money is not an issue...as you can see with the build I'm playing with. Thanks in advance.

  19. To everyone that has posted: i apologize if you thought my broad statements were aimed at the community in general. I took offense last night...did make snotty comments after comments were directed at me (at least in my opinion). There ARE good people on champion. Again, just sticking up for my friend and went about it the way i thought appropriate. Forgive and forget!
  20. Since I-3 I have been running on Protector. I finally branched out and leveled a scrapper to 50 and at the prompting of a friend, I decided to join the Hami Raid last night. I guess Protector spoiled me, because never before have I met more arrogant, ignorant players than I came across last night. Being a so called "leader" of a raid makes you no better than anyone else. Because someone chose to bring a toon that didn't match up with stereotypical builds should not prevent them from being able to join a team and participate in the raid. Yes, I stuck up for the player, after asking him some questions through tells. I'm just shocked that no one else did.

    The player did find a team. The majority of players were great. The raid was successful. I just expected a whole lot more from players on a server like Champion. This isn't the Freedom server.
  21. After plugging my stuff into Mids I came up with 737% regen. Numbers were never my strong suit. So I answered my question. What are people doing to get it higher than that? I'd love to see some builds with set bonuses. Also how does one avoid the set bonus cap when it comes to regen and +HPs?

    I'd love to hear how people are getting numbers like 476% and 565% without RttC. What sets do you have and how are you not hitting the regen cap?
  23. This build has cost me a ton of influence but it is well worth it in my opinion. I'm sure it could be tweaked here and there, but I'm very happy with it. I can tank anything I come across and I always have Strength of Will if I ever find myself in trouble. I went with a Regen/Recovery theme with my set bonuses. Regen is 3.08 without baddies helping Rise to the Challenge. My EndRecovery is 4.52/s. Total hit points is 3147...not too far off the cap. Basically you can take a licking, keep on ticking and attack things until you're blue in the face...with all toggles running (including fly if you'd like.) Hope this helps.
