Here's my build...though I really liked what you did with yours! I think I am gonna take a few ideas from what you did!

Hmm I haven't seen a build like that before(kinetic combat in kat) I have to try using that combination for my wp/ss tanker to be.
Anyways, one of my worries for my build is the crappy smashing def. I wonder how many range smashin and aoe attacks are there in game. And anyone know if i have decent to hit chance against +4 lvls? or do i have to invest in more +accuracy set bonuses.
One more thing! I'm runnin DA > GD > GC > SD > GC attack chain(is this optimal for what i have?). Will the end recovery be enough to use this chain for prolonged periods? And i have a performance shifter proc lying around so i might end up slotting it into PP if it really needs the extra recovery.

Nice build, I have a similar build on my kat/wp.
Have you played this build, and if so, have you had end problems in a long drawn out fight?
Don't worry about smashing defense, there's not much ranged smashing to deal with in this game. Most of it will be covered by melee or mixed with something else you have covered. The rest is usually covered with your massive regen and nice resists.
My acc levels are similar to yours, almost identical actually, and I don't have any problems fighting plus fours. In fact, a kat/wp is great for doing the double rwz challenges. Having said that, more acc never hurts, and if you get hit with acc debuffs, it can sting a bit.
One more thing! I'm runnin DA > GD > GC > SD > GC attack chain(is this optimal for what i have?). Will the end recovery be enough to use this chain for prolonged periods? And i have a performance shifter proc lying around so i might end up slotting it into PP if it really needs the extra recovery.

The chain you list is optimal if you want to be capped for melee and do top notch damage, yes. The only better chain is one that has insane recharge and doesn't use DA, which is usually only 'optimal' on an SR.
I wouldn't worry much about ranged and AoE smashing. If I were doing a Katana/Willpower, I'd likely just leave that as a hole in the build. The main attack I'm thinking of is the thrown rock smashing you over the head (Super Strength Hurl). There are certainly others, and I haven't done any sort of statistical analysis, but ranged and AoE smashing at least feels infrequent to me.
As far as accuracy against +4s, you're lower than I'd be happy with, but honestly not bad:
91% Gambler's Cut
89% Flashing Steel
104% Divine Avalanche (the important one, capped at 95%)
89% The Lotus Drops
83% Soaring Dragon
89% Golden Dragonfly
If you want to have Mids' tell you the numbers for +4s:
Options -> Configuration -> Exemping & Base Values -> Base ToHit = 39

Divine Avalanche -> Gambler's Cut -> Soaring Dragon -> Gambler's Cut -> Golden Dragonfly -> Gambler's Cut -> Soaring Dragon -> Gambler's Cut
It does slightly better DPS. However, Divine Avalanche drops for a fraction of a second with that chain, so you take your chances, and it isn't technically the best DPS one-DA chain as a result. Recharge is +163% in Soaring Dragon, which this build doesn't have and shouldn't even try for. Just putting the chain out there. In practice, yeah, I'd probably stick with DA>GC>GD>GC>SD>GC.

thanks for the replies! I feel better now after seeing the replies . I might just lose some of the regen bonus in PP to slot in performance shifter proc and move 1 slot into CJ or maneuvers and make it 4 for the additional accuracy set bonus.
I lose like 25% regen and gain more accuracy with SD being the only attack power below 90% hit chance on +4. The end usage went down a little and gained more recovery from %endproc. Hmm i think it might be a good trade. What you guys think?

I have better end use vs. end rec than you, and I run into end problems in VERY long fights, like vs. a tough av. I can fight indefinitely, however, by using SOW. You might be able to do the same with conserve power, but you'd have to ask one of the resident math wizards to be sure.

If you had the recharge, you could also consider this:

I wish i could pull off chains like that too but it gotta be a SR to do it with hasten. I saw the only kat scrapper on the pylon dps thread had like 220+ dps and that awesome and beyond my reach(kat/sr or claw/sr and wp/ss will be next toons)

I switched out the Scirroco dmg/rech to a scirroco acc/dmg/end to reduce the end cost of GD, since i don't really need that much recharge to achieve this chain below.
DA > GD > GC > SD > GC >repeat
I tried to use the arcanatime formula to calculate the total duration of the chain and got 6.996 secs with 3.31 endurance drained per second(1.83enddrain/sec if CP is used).
Total end usage with toggles is 4.69end/sec(2.57end/sec with CP)
Ok so I only have 3.89 recovery + x2 Pshifter%end and I read from some 2009 posts that it adds like 0.2 to recovery per proc. If the end proc still works the same way, i will have around 4.39 recovery.
So with those numbers, I've calculated that i will be out of endurance after like 383.33333secs (115 divided by 0.30?) which is about 54 secs slower than my CP recharge(yay)
And i have to be able to recover my end within CP's duration of 90 secs.
115/(4.39 - 2.57)= 63.2 seconds to recover full end bar which means I should not have that much end problems.
Now the problem is that i can't trust myself with maths and i've barely played this game for a month. I will appreciate if the veterans can help me double check the numbers to see if im correct or not, so I can put my IO and respec to use

Hey guys I've been lurking the boards for a few weeks now and need other opnions on the slotting and stuff. The idea is to slot so that i get as much regen as possible and still get decent enough recovery and max hits. I got help from reading some old kat/wp builds from 2009(mojo's and iggy's) to make this, but im not sure if its up to date for current issue.
