    Kronos appears as an ambush after you complete a story arc mission. It is a lv 45-50 arc from Crimson.

    The only place he wont spawn is Atlas Park.

    I've seen him in Talos and he has apparently spawned in the Hive aswell.

  3. The power Rage, from super strength, did not always have the less of 25 end and the 10 seconds of downtime. When Rage wore off you were hit with a very large disorient. The mag of it was just below the max protection of your mez shield. So any minor mezzing attack would break through ans stun you.

    So as long as you were not mezzed you could fighting with perma, sometimes stacked, Rage with no downtime.

    Heros can respec out of their ancilleries if they choose badly. So villians cant. Most villian At's are already considered weaker than their hero counterparts this isnt going to help things.

    It is possible that COH APP's will be changed to something similar to the COV Patron Powers. If that happens both COV and COH characters will be more balanced.

    The fact is that alot of time and money has already spent developing the Patron pools. Balancing in the CoX universe usually means bring powers down to a lower level, not raising powers to match the preceived "better" powers.

    I was thinking the same thing. Its possible that each of the Patron pools will offer the same exact powers. The only difference would be their appearance. So Mako's shield, ranged cone, etc. would be corallax themed, while Sirocco's would be Mu red lighting themed.

    If that is the case, then only the Patron specific content will truely matter.

    I am willing to wait for more details before passing judgement.

    Yeah, I don't really like my idea either, but it does offer a reason for not being about to respec out of a patron pool.

  8. Very nice. The thug pets look interesting, especially the dual machine pistol ones. I was sort of hoping for the thugs like the 1960's Batman TV show had, Goon 1, goon 2 etc. They are not what I was expecting, but there are very interesting.

    The Arachnos flyer looks like a great GM to battle.

    Can't wait for this to hit test.

    I'll normally try to open with an AS and then scrap. If I follow up with a placate i'll then use focus instead of AS. At that point too much is usually going on to get a successful AS off.

    If I miss with the AS I'll sometimes scrap, even if the odds are not in my favor. I'll try to get a few licks in even if I know I can't take somebody out.

    Focus with its knockdown works very well on an enemy that you can't get hit with an AS.

    normally to get back into hide I will have to run. the def based scrapper sets may have a slightly easier time getting back into hide, but with a properly buffed up hero team attacking them they'll most like have to run as well.

    I actually don't have DP on this char. I've meaning to respec into it, but I have not used the respec yet (I'm waiting abit to find out how Arbiter leary actually works).

    Dev blasters with TP can be a problem, but I have not found them to be super bad either. When I'm on my stalker I don't seem to mind getting killed as much as I do on my tank. I'm usually willing to give a get to get a kill, but I still do my best to run like hell when I have too.

    The best counter to a TP'ing /dev blaster is to start stlaking them, which is easier with claws and focus.

    My highest lv villain is my lv 33 claws/reg stalker. I have no problem at all in pve or pvp. I do pretty good in pvp.

    I really enjoy playing this char. I have no idea why everyone thinks regen is gimp. i played a /ninjitsu stalker in beta and the lack of def in low to mid levels (I only got to lv 26) was a pain. But maybe I like trying to scrap too much with my stalker.

    I still stand by Nerva being the cloest to Paragon City though, thats why Longbow has such alot of strength there and its the furthest island from Grandville. It doesn't make sense for it to be the furthest because that would make Lord Recluse's base of operations very vulnerable.

    I remember reading something dura beta that Nerva was the zone closest to Paragon City, which is part of the reason Longbow has a presence there.

    However, the map inclused with COV shows Nerva to be the westernmost zone. I can only assume that the map is not to scale and Nerva is actually more to the north west of the Rogue Islands.

    What origin would they be? You can count out Tech and Sci for obvious reasons. Magic would be blasphemy. Mutation would be out of the question for lack of cell phones and microwaves... that would leave natural.

    An Amish tank would be the ultimate meatshield. Take only powers from your primary, along with the fighting pool for tough/weave, and only slot your defenses.

    Stalkers are like every other pvp build out there..some builds have no chance against us, others it's going to be a fight for us, and other builds we have no chance against.

    Seriously check the general PvP forum all the whining and nerf calling that's been over since I4 started right back up again. All the new players who stayed out of the arena are now having to play catch up. Either you find a way to adapt or you get killed repeatedly.

    I'd even be willing to bet that most of the serious PvPers have stalkers...so what is being seen is good players vs bad players. Seems most of my kills against tanks and scrappers is nothing other then me out playing them.

    As a non-Stalker who's gonna butt-in, here's what I see (related to the above). From posts by fervent PvPers elsewhere around here, a good percentage of the Villains in the PvP zones are Stalkers. So, given that there's a group of ATs/builds/whatever that (from the quote above) "have no chance" against said Stalkers you're gonna continue to hear the lamentations of their women about it.

    I wouldn't be so bitter myself if there was something my Rad/Rad defender could do besides zipping randomly around the sky like a crystal meth junkie to have a fair fight against a TP Stalker. As it is now, when I suddenly appear somewhere where I wasn't a moment before I just grab my ankles.

    Can I take out defenders with my stalker on a consistant basis? Yes.

    Have defenders taken out my stalker on a consistant basis? Yes.

    Stalkers are like submarines. They can be devastating when they strike 1st, but they can be easily taken out if discovered.

    I've said this before, PvP is really best experienced as a part of a team. Teams make it harder for stalkers to get close to make their kill, and make it much harder for them to escape after making the kill.

    There have been many times where I will willing to be defeated in order to make (or attempt) a kill vs a team.
