The trick to moving ANY room in your base is to not try anything that would disrupt base continuity. If moving the entry chamber makes one part of the base inaccessible to any other, it won't work. Without being in your base, to see how it's arranged and what the entry and connecting rooms contain, I have no way of being more specific.
As a possible workaround, try moving the GRID so that the entry room is centered. Simply proceed as if you're trying to upgrade the plot, pick the same plot you're already using, and shift it. The only rule you can't break with THAT process is having to keep all the existing rooms within the confines of the new grid location. I've done this several times, at least once for the same reason ("moving" the entrance). -
Now if we could just get some 5-6 ft tall chess pieces.

We did. Not going to dig back thru the thread Pebble started to get such suggestions just to link it, but I know people recommended it, because I was one of them.

Quote:And vice versa. Also, you will occasionally see a glitch on your friends list that shows people in a SG base as being "On Mission Map" for that very reason.
Maybe it's just you. I don't get this glitch every time. -

Quote:Now you sound like UniqueDragon. If we want a fast response we need to figure out a way to turn this into an exploit. We need to pretend that we can dupe our logins and get two copies of our characters into the game and then trade rare items to dupe them too before one of the copies auto-logs out.
That will do the trick. -
More or less what I said earlier.

You're wrong, but apparently the only maintenance periods you notice are the ones that DO cause problems.

Can't log into Justice, Triumph, or Freedom atm. Have no toons elsewhere.

"This will not be quick. You are not going to enjoy this." (From the movie "300"
)
Well, as for how you might be able to farm this... I don't do farms for things like this, just the occasional badge, so I couldn't help you there.
However, having easily gotten this on my necro/dark MM, my best suggestion is to run with big teams. Like, REALLY big. Like, go to RWZ and team with several MMs and/or get on every ship raid you can.
Why MMs? Because the healing you do on their pets counts. Granted, you may be competing with one or more of the MMs for this, but at least there are more targets available.
Speaking of pets, spam the snot out of Dark Servant. His... err, its heals count, too. -
Quote:Six? You optimist, you.So, for me... I only have one possible prize. What are the chances I will randomly see it at the right time and score it in like 6 seconds? Zilch. But I will keep an eye open nonetheless.
And yes, I have everything I care about from the list. The costume codes are merely "neat-o" to me. Put them in the store. Have contests for t-shirts, posters and drink glasses. Put THOSE in the store, too.
NCSoft "marketing" asked what we thought would bring more players to CoH, while basically ignoring what existing players wanted to be able to buy, rather than only seeing it at M&Gs and (now non-existent) HeroCons. Money is money. Getting freebies of stuff I *can* pay still qualifies as a prize.
How is this equation difficult? -
Quote:"An evil place" isn't much to go on. What kind of map are you looking for?I'd like something that seems like an evil palace or something of that ilk. The antagonist I have in one of my arcs is directing his men from such a place. However, none, and I do mean NONE, of the maps seem to represent the bloody thing. I did think I might have had a breakthrough with some CoT maps, but they have too much spots dotted around that just screams "It's underground!"
Outdoor maps in DA might fit the bill, if there were any. -
Something else in the same paragraph of the OP.
Quote:No, most of us understand that... but most of us can't pick just one. I picked the four (out of MANY) that I have enjoyed enough to invest much of my time and money in.
*shrugs* Just the way I did it. -
Quote:Amazing how many folks apparently didn't read this far in the OP. (emphasis mine)Please post the most enjoyable toon that you've ever played. I know it's hard to narrow it down to one, but please do. I don't want your top 2, I don't want your top one from each archetype, I don't want your favorite villain and your favorite hero, just post one and I will make whichever one that sounds good to me.

Quote:I THINK the SC map used for the Silos TF is there, but again, I'd have to go back and dig around.I might as well make these requests official:
I would like to see the Striga, Kings Row and Siren's Call maps from the Mender Silos TF in the MA, please. I think we could use many more outdoor maps. These awesome maps are hidden away in a very obscure TF and never seen anywhere else. They deserve better. -

Honestly, I think it's safe to assume they're not going to add "special AE-only maps" to the game. The time and resources involved in adding maps to the game would generally be better spent adding more overall content to the game... which might result in new maps, which could get added to the AE.
As for some of the suggestions re: adding maps for specific, well-known locations IRL (saw Times Square suggested in here somewhere)... again, not happening, for the above reason AND due to the game not taking place in New York, or any of the other RL places that might have been suggested.
What I WOULD like to see are the return of several maps that WERE in the AE and removed due to "technical difficulties." The Floating Ziggurat is the first one that comes to mind. This map, and others, have been "broken" for how long now?
Get them Fixed.
Put them back.
Please. -
All things considered, even after more than 3-1/2 years of playing, my favorite is still Blood Speaker himself, my necro/dark/soul mastermind. I ended up building him as a tankermind before I'd even heard the term, and it can be... oddly soothing to casually drive him around a +1/x8 PI mayhem map and leave it utterly devoid of "life"... no more cops or Longbow, bank robbed, all side mishes done, every breakable object broken and all civilians terrorized off the map.
But I'm odd. -
We wants it, my Precious.
Though I'm not seriously expecting it in GR. Or I-19 for that matter. -
I must just be odd in the Dom community. I easily leveled my grav/nrg to 50 back BEFORE the damage buff, and have several others ranging from the mid 20s to mid 40s. They are my 2nd favorite redside AT (after MMs).
Then again, it may have a lot to do with the leveling pattern I use with them, learned after a leveling crisis in the early 20s on my first (the aforementioned grav/nrg) and an inspired respec. In short, I stopped building them as doms in the 1-20 range, and built them more like blasters. I skipped the single-target immob Crush (forever), taking the other, generally more damaging soft-control (knockdown) power, Lift. When my single-target hold (Gravity Distortion) and AoE immob (Crushing Field) became available, I took those as well. And alongside the "usual" mix of fitness/travel/etc stuff, I took EVERY available ranged damage attack from my secondary. After that, everything changed for the vastly better, and I filled out my primary to supplement my now much more impressive damage-dealing, taking the other ranged damage secondaries as they became available.
Needless to say, YMMV, but this methodology has worked for every other Dom I've played since. -
Quote:Yeah, someone at IGN wasn't paying attention. Either that, or the Necromancer (MM) I've been playing for the past 43+ months was just a figment of my imagination.Given that at the weekend this IGN article said that there was only 2 new sets, one was Necromancy, and was very poorly edited, and also mentioned "neutral" as a point on the Going Rogue slider (which we know to be Villain, Rogue, Vigilant and Hero) I would take all the info it presents to be highly questionable.
