wait? o.O what happened, this turned into a Scrapper thread? did I pass out again and drunk post in the wrong forum?

Fire Manip was my first ever Blaster Secondary... teamed with Elec primary no less. It has serious hurt built right in. I never took or intend to ever take Burn.

-Combustion is slow and never sees combat unles I actually have nothing else to throw out... gonna respec out of it.

-Fire Sword and Fire Sword Circle are just straight up mean, if you skip them, you'll be sorry... awesome damage capabilities there.

-Consume is great, not wowwy awesome suace like Power Sink, but still great (plus there is damage in it too).

-Hot Feet, loves me Hot Feet. If you tend to fly a lot, then skip it and just run Blazing Aura, that way you don't have to land to toggle.

Straight blapper joy is what Fire Manip is, that's all I'm saying.

my only thought aside from "this would be awesome to play" is that they'll never make this powerset because they'd have to update and add more "Pulse Rifle" models to the character creator. Which they won't because the devs want us to only use the "duct tape wonder widget" or the "techno watermelon" as weapons... because both make them laugh.

I seem to remember Marvel throwing a stink about nearly everything that CoX was doing powerwise and costumewise. I don't know for certain if development of a swinging travel power was haulted through Marvel and legal bullying or just through time/difficulty... but later on the devs entered into a development contract for a super hero MMO called Marvel Universe Online.... this was killed shortly before the schism in Cryptic. NCsoft and Paragon emerge with CoX and Cryptic takes their now bruised Marvel engine and designs Champ... low and behold there is a Swinging travel power. Anyhoo... the point is, I don't think they will add Swinging anytime soon if ever... however any other travel power might emerge. Here's to hoping.

I have other tips that'll help around the house... mainly pertaining to stain removal and kitchen remodeling. =D

welcome back Dr.Genocide. if you haven't yet, roll a hero and play blueside on Pinnacle. Hell, that's advice for all servers. Red and blue are differnet beasts on most servers, give each a whirl... anyhoo, Blueside Pinnacle is substantial, lots of good players still around and some OGs re-upping so things look good.

ok, first, don't take a shower... that'll take you away from the keyboard. Start off by taking your shirt off and wedging it inbetween your legs. Since you've been drinking, you have to release extra liquid... go nuts... now swab yourself with moist shirt and bingo bango, you now smell like a urinal after the 7th inning.

reminds me of the time I saw a guy quad boxing in RV. The lead was a Bubble/Psi def and the 3 leashed were Psi/MM blasters... they drifted around town hall (group fly FTW) raining Psi Darts and Screams... was eerie and chuckle worthy.

might I add, NERF any AT/powerset I am currentlu facing in PvP. This will require a dedicated team of devs (I'll take Castle, he's good with the nerfbat) to be at my PM beck and call when ever I zone into PvP. Also, I want a juice box.

PvP allows for the best "create an Arch-Villian" content of any MMO. Champ Online can't compare with the robust nature of the swarms of AVs one character can create in RV.

Plus no amount of coding of some AI driven AV can match the "special" dialog that spews from your newly created AVs. Gone is the stale: "I'll get you next time Mega Awesome Man!" Never have I heard Lord Recluse say: "F**K You! I'm gonna get my lvl 50 and my buds and we're gonna F**K YOU!". Sure thing Recluse... I'll bring the beer and lube.

Also, one can't beat the sense of being stalked by your AVs toadies while you are thumbing your sparring partner under Atlas. Ah, PvP... making virtual rage-aholics happy across the globe.

hope you remember to wear clean underwear.

Anyone with a Rad/EM get to 40? Was curious how some of EMs power enhancers work with Rad. Haven't had any time to futz with it on test, but from what I have done with a Rad Blast Defender, the PvP aspect intrigues the heck out of me.

is any of this related to the heavy demand put on the ever diminishing bandwidth available from service providers? I know Time Warner has been hit hard in my area for craptacular amounts of signal delay due to an over taxed broadband demand. Just curious.

with all the bugs that were left during Beta I was surprised that Live went off rather well. No complaints here, in fact after the recent patch I seem to be at a loss for things to irritate me.

P.S. anyone get a chance to use the new "Flies" aura?

I still recieve email spams... but only on one of my toons.

This is but the tip of the iceberg. The names they are using contain too many characters to be acknowledged as a valid name. Thus the spam command is unable to be used (cuz it spits the "invalid name" message at you).
This is not some company wasting time PLing a handful of trial toons to lvl 10 just so they can spam a few emails. That's counter productive, time is money for these people. This is happening because I have managed to get onto one of these companies mailing lists. My toon name is logged in that list and I can't escape the emails unless I change my toon name... I AM NOT changing my name. The second part is simple, this company is hacking the system to be able to use invalid names and most likely send lvl 1 emails.

If you are really curious, search these companies on Whois(dot)net and score their contact info. Also if you really wnat to stop these spammers, block payment from the Credit Card companies and Paypal... since these are US based companies they can be ordered by a federal court to suspend transactions to certain accounts due to unlawful use. After all these companies are breaking the law by spamming, yes the email service in game is covered by the law.

I guess I left you all hanging for long enough. My real life decided to throw me a curve ball.
