Maybe I could use that on my resume as job experience and get myself appointed to the Canadian Senate. It'd be one more qualification than any of our current senators have.

Ever get hit in the face with an unexpected blast of cold air (from someone opening a door in the winter or somesuch)? Ever get abruptly dunked in ice-cold water? It tends to discombobulate you for a second or two.

Speaking from experience on both counts.

  4. Not to mention a state governor lacks the authority to appoint an ambassador to another planet.

The framework for this process exists in the real-world human anatomy, albeit expressed on a smaller scale. See every high-end weightlifter who can still perform fine motor tasks without destroying stuff for details.

  9. I think I know where this may have come from.

Wikileaks (totally unrelated site) is in serious financial trouble and will have to shut down soon unless they find a new way to pay their bills. Someone read that news tidbit around the same time as they were reading something or other about Paragonwiki, and the facts got scrambled in their head.

    That or someone's straight-up trolling.

Either way, a lie is halfway around the world before the truth gets its boots on.
  10. Nice idea.

Thinking along that line makes me wonder about the possibility of music-themed costume change emotes as well.
  11. Not a drinker, so pass.

    Large pizza with the works.
  12. Bad Idea: Dualboxing an entirely different game while doing so.

Good Idea: Taking periodic breaks to stretch.
  13. Pass

Gooiest sloppy joe you can imagine.

If you get close enough to draw fire from one enemy in a span, you're going to take a salvo from the full pack. The pulse is almost overkill if you do that on a squishy AT.

Its just not a pleasant experience, and this game is here for us to have fun in. We can slog on regardless at jobs we get paid to do, in the real world.
I'll consider running Keyes when the damage pulse goes away altogether. Nerfing it does not count in the least.

Rule Zero of any sort of civilian rescue/first responder/first aid training is "Don't add yourself to the list of people in need of help." If you stick your nose into anything more violent than a heated argument, you just broke Rule Zero.

The pros WANT that to be the norm because it reduces the body count.
  20. This is what comes of giving players access to an editor tool when the entire game is written in UDS*.

MA was a nice idea, but like everything else in the game newer than the single-digit issues, it's built on a foundation that wasn't designed for anything of the sort. Hence, bugs. Lots of them. That much is inevitable.

But I agree with the OP about bug documentation. Fess up when there's a glitch in your system. Don't expect the playerbase to not notice when there's gaping holes in the program. I've seen online games implode over that.

    * - Undocumented Drunken Spaghetti. The dev team has admitted as much more than once in the past.

I don't even read comic books on a regular basis (and never have), and I STILL want to smack that emcee's head around the globe so it lands back on his shoulders with a little more info than before.

Fortunately for him, my arm's not that long.

Super Speed is a lot of things in one package. It's a very fast travel power (easily outpaces Super Jump and doesn't need a second toggle to hit Afterburner speeds), it's fire-and-forget, and it has a partial stealth effect that stacks with pretty much any other stealth power for full invisibility.
  23. They change costumes when making the movie version because spandex simply does not work for live-action. It looks cool in hand-drawn content because you can make the fabric and the underlying body structure match each other perfectly. But in real life, that. Is. Impossible.

There's a very tiny fraction of the human race that actually looks good in spandex, and most of them will never cross paths with a movie crew. Pretty much anyone who's not in that tiny fraction looks utterly ridiculous.
