Quoted for being true of every single female I've ever met. Nothing sexist about stating facts.

The really sad part is, when there IS a smart guy in the group trying to implement a plan that has a chance of working, the rest ostracize him and cut him off - they don't want to hear common sense.
The much sadder part is, the exact same thing happens in real life. -
Quote:The LFG lockout isn't as bad an idea as some people are doomsaying.I understand it could have been a mistake. The badges was me attempting to make it funny instead of me just ranting (I deal with anger by using comedy). I wouldn't actually support ostracizing people for killing that many civilians.
I'm pretty that this was just someone that didn't read chat though, judging by ingame behavior.
Blasting the civs (or a similar botch) once or twice in the run of an evening can be an isolated misclick, but doing it regularly is griefing and should be branded as such. And there are people who do it regularly.
Forming a league takes time and energy on par with herding cats. And then there's the trials themselves, most of which have some sort of hair-trigger failure condition even if your group is strong enough to handle the enemies. That's a lot of effort to have go down the drain just because someone unwittingly invited a troll. -
Quote:It'd take more than blood sacrifice to make a baseball game worth the hours of airtime it engulfs in its dull, lifeless void. How about blood sacrifice baseball? It would sure liven up that dull, dull sport.
You know you've got yourself a slow sport when a "stretch break" is purposely built-in to keep people awake. -

I have yet to see any Judgement power one-shot anything bigger than a minion-class enemy. Meanwhile, the stuff that actually poses a threat is still alive and fully able to unload on the person who just gave themselves a massive hate lead.

1. Armageddon in a can?
2. Midnight club access without doing that asinine quest chain is long overdue.
3. This would be a nice QoL upgrade.
4 and 5 sound like more pay-to-win, which the game has enough of already. -

Chalk my vote up for AI fixes. At an absolute minimum, pets should leash back to you at the edge of Supremacy range.
Trying, and failing, to think of another AT that invalidates its own inherent that way. -

Shortly after I dinged 21 on my Warshade, I joined a PuG that was running the Midnighter arc. Dealing with Lost spawns on an all-squishy team turns every battle into a contest of which side can mez the other side's mezzers first. After a couple pulls' worth of that, I remembered I was on a WARSHADE. Dwarf Form. Which I had just got done slotting 3 resistance enhancers in a couple minutes ago. Derp.
So I pull out ye olde lobster and lead the charge into the next spawn. Turned out I was just tough enough to absorb the alpha while the aoe controls flew in - but that was all the group needed. Using my (relatively) thick hide to buy time for the controllers to set up, we rolled over the remainder of the mission and moved on to the next one.
RL chose right about then to happen. I warned the group I had to do a quick afk, and went to take care of business. They decided they could handle one pull without me (usually a reasonable assumption). Problem was, it was that annoying room with one pack at the top of a flight of stairs and one pack at the bottom - pulling one pretty much always aggroes the other. I returned to my chair to find the team getting curbstomped by as many Lost as could fit in the entryway.
Normally I would have tagged it as a lost battle (no pun intended) and simply joined the team as they regrouped after hosping. But I was still in the "protector" mindset, and my team was getting beat up without me there to run interference. *twitch* LOBSTER SMASH!!
It felt like one of those cheesy foe-tossing-charge scenes you see on the animated superhero shows. I crashed into the middle of the melee just as the last two heroes were about to go down. Mire, taunt, use the mire buff to crush one of the lieutenants fast and clear some space. Burn a couple insps. Taunt again. Pretty sure I have aggro on everything now. Banged-up friends retreat to recuperate. Heal every time it's up. Punch the most convenient face. Burn more insps - tray is now empty. Health and end both running low. Keep fighting. Another insp drops, pop it right away. Fight on. Still clinging to life, painfully aware of how weak that self-heal is.
DAKKADAKKADAKKADAKKA! The team finally makes it back from the hospital and mows down the surviving Lost.
"Thanks for holding the line, man."
You're welcome. -

Quote:Someone forgets on a regular basis to inform the US of those two facts. He controls a sovereign nation which is not subject to US law ... the US isn't the only country in the world, and is still subject to United Nations law
And as far as military invasions are concerned, Longbow (a group that last I checked answers to the US government) has been fighting a guerilla campaign in the Rogue Isles since Recluse set up shop there. America has no business pointing fingers at Arachnos for terrorism as long as that's going on. -

Key words here bolded. Lethal is the single most-resisted damage type in the game - I don't think the occasional Critical Scourge would counteract that to any degree.

Quote:Nice way to make an argument that shoots itself down. Women who get into the military at all do it by showing themselves to be every bit as badass as their male counterparts. They don't hide behind their companions because they don't need to.Nice way to insult every woman serving as an officer or NCO in the military or any other male dominated career for that matter. So you don't think it's empowering that a woman in a leadership position can inspire a bunch of men with Esprit De Corp so they are willing to charge the very gates of Hell and die for her.
Women had to fight tooth and nail to get the respect and loyalty that men in the same position are given automatically and if you think they are lame or that they are letting men do their fighting for them, then you seriously need to get your head examined.
A Mastermind, on the other hand, is weaker in combat than their tier 1 minions - the polar opposite of that notion. Even if you take all 3 attacks and the whole fighting pool, you don't even count as an afterthought in a battle. -
That's because Batman is a textbook Mary Sue.
Always has all the gizmos he needs and then some for whatever task presents itself, no matter how implausible it is that his loadout would match the current scenario. Always has a Xanatos Gambit set up to hose whatever his opponent has planned. Always has the strength of will/sheer toughness to keep getting back up when getting hammered by offense that would kill most powered members of the Justice League.
I could go on, but the fact is Bats is not a valid reference point for anything because the authors simply refuse to let him get beat no matter how outclassed he is. -
Characters with appropriate powersets should have the option of plowing Brass through a wall to remind him that some power gaps cannot be overcome by any amount of training or utility-belt gadgets.

Nodachi and... crud, I forget the "horse-cutter" sword's name (Lone Wolf and Cub).
