You get more. There's no way around it. For your subscription, you're getting what you got before, plus at least what a booster gave you before every quarter. All of that for the same cost.
But if you don't want what would otherwise be in a booster, you can either save your points or buy something else, like a powerset.
(This post not meant as an attack on what you said, just clarification that we in no way are getting less than what we got before). -
In short:
The devs are producing more stuff than before.
Stuff costs money to produce.
So if you want that stuff you'll have to pay more than before.
Bonus: you can choose to pay exactly the same as before and get, more or less (probably slightly more), what you got before. -

Kin is great for the -damage, also for the often underrated Siphon Speed, which is set to be unresistable. That means stacking it a few times, you can make a significant dent in the attack speed of the AV, as well as push back their critical powers such as tier9s and nukes.

Not in character creation, but I've forgotten which server I'm currently running on with worrying frequency (leading me to advertise a team I'm forming on the wrong server's global channel more than once).

I didn't notice the flags so initially generated an international code (cos I'm in the EU) which wasn't compatible with my US account. I got the US code and applied it fine, but if anyone needs/wants an EU code I'm assuming it's still valid and usable:

For kittenizing AVs, I've found few to be more effective than Dark Miasma or Kinetics.
-damage is one of the most effective mitigation debuffs against AVs since it isn't resisted in the same way as most debuffs (there's the occasional exception where the AVs actually resist it more than other resists, but more commonly you can get them down to around Lieutenant or Boss levels of damage). Dark adds another layer to that with huge volumes of -tohit (it's always resisted heavily by AVs, but you can pump out so much that it still has an impact), a decent amount of -regen and -resist, and a strong heal. Kinetics is less debuffy, but all the extra endurance, +dam/+rech, and mez protection certainly doesn't hurt.
I've run as most buff/debuff sets, and while they all bring something to the table and frequently excel in other areas, but those two are the ones I'd want along for removing any threat an AV might pose (e.g. Rad is hugely popular, and provides advantages that e.g. Dark does not, but its debuffing is not quite as focused on mitigation, so in my experience the AV feels less kitten-like). -

This is a good chance to ask about "Disintegration". How come some times I get disintegration on the first target, and sometimes I get "Disintegration Spread". Do I need to hit the first target twice to spread or something?

If you hit an enemy currently affected by Disintegration with any of your single target Beam Rifle attacks (Single Shot, Charged Shot, Lancer Shot, Penetrating Ray) there is a chance that the Disintegration effect will spread to 3 nearby targets. The chance of spread goes up in the order I listed those powers - Single Shot's a pretty low chance, whereas Penetrating Ray is 100% chance.
Additionally each attack in the Beam Rifle set has an additional effect when used on enemies affected by Disintegration - for most of them it's extra damage or damage over time, but there's also a stun and some -regen. -

On the escape part in BAF, we Crabs are the only ones not affected by the 'confuse' that the Lt's dish out. And i heard from several people that if they are near me while i am on door duty, they don't get confused.
Crabs are the only VEAT immune to Romulus' stun though. -

Well I guess that's another workaround, at least for responding to team broadcasts.
For those forming teams that they're happy for free players to join it may be worth adding a bit suggesting that. "Level 15 paper team forming, send tell for invite (free players - /friend me and ask over friend chat)" or something. -
This happened to me just now (I was logged on fine yesterday). In my case, restarting the game worked.
One thing I noticed which struck me as interesting is if I typed in a password starting with an upper-case letter (correct or otherwise), I got the message that I had to fill out my account/password. If I typed a password starting with a lower-case letter, I got the message that my account or password was incorrect (which it was in those brief tests).
Now that I've implied my password starts with an upper-case letter, in the interests of security I shall now go and change it to something with a lower case letter. Or will I? -
I've seen it suggested, but not had an opportunity to test it, so query: Can free players (like bottom tier, not premium) /friend someone then talk to them over the friend chat channel?
